A case study about interoperability measurement using interoperability maturity model (상호운용 성숙도 모델을 이용한 상호운용성 측정 사례 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반 시스템 개발시 시스템간의 상호운용성을 높일 수 있는 방도를 제시하는데 있다. 다시 말하자면 다른 웹 서비스 방식과 분산 객체 방식의 컴포넌트 기반 시스템들의 상호운용 성숙 정도를 측정하려는 시도에 있다. 적용 사례에서는 클라이언트는 .NET 환경을 서버는 EJB 환경 상에서 개발된 EJB와 .NET 컴포넌트는 웹 서비스 방식과 IIOP.NET를 이용한 분산객체 방식 두 가지 방식으로 상호운용 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이 두 가지 상이한 상호운용 방식에 대하여 성숙도 모델인 LISI를 기반으로 상호운용 측정 기법을 적용하여 상호운용 능력을 측정하려 노력하였다. LISI 상호운용 능력을 측정한 결과 웹 서비스에 의한 방식이 분산 객체 방식보다 높은 상호운용 능력이 있음이 나타난다.

Cost-based Optimization of Composite Web Service Executions Using Intensional Results (내포 결과를 이용한 복합 웹 서비스 실행의 비용 기반 최적화)

  • Web service technologies provide a standard means for interoperation and integration of heterogeneous applications distributed over the Internet. For efficient execution of hierarchically interacting composite web services, this paper proposes an approach to distribute web service invocations over peer systems effectively, exploiting intensional XML data embedding external service calls as a result of well services. A cost-based optimization problem on the execution of web services using intensional results was formalized, and a heuristic search method to find an optimal solution and a greedy algorithm to generate an efficient invocation plan quickly were suggested in this paper. Experimental evaluation shows that the proposed greedy algorithm provides near-optimal solutions in an acceptable time even for a large number of Web services.

  • 최근 웹서비스의 사용은 응용 칸 통신과 상호운용성의 필요가 증가됨에 따라 빠르게 확장되고 있다. 웹 서비스는 SOA의 참조아키텍처로서 필요한 복잡한 연산 수행 컴포넌트를 표준인터페이스를 사용하여 결합하도록 한다. 그러나 웹서비스에 대한 분산 기업응용에 적용이 요구되고 있으며 이를 위해 위험요소분석, 대응정책 및 해결책에 대한 방안이 부재한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 웹서비스의 품질관리를 위한 지능형 웹 서비스 품질 관리 아키텍처를 설계하고 웹서비스의 관리를 위해 온톨로지를 적용하여 운영할 수 있는 아키텍처를 제안한다.

Efficient Design of Web Searching Robot Engine Using Distributed Processing Method with Javascript Function (자바스크립트 함수처리 기능을 포함한 분산처리 방식의 웹 수집 로봇의 설계)

  • In this paper, we proposed and implemented web robot using active script engine with internet explore to process javascript function link, which is not processing in conventional web searching robot. This web searching robot is developed to measure collecting amount of web searching robot with processing of javascript function link. We analysed the architecture of web searching robot with google and naybot to develope web searching robot, implemented element of configuration applicable to searching robot and designed with distributed processing type. In addition to, we estimated the proposed web robot employing javascript processing model and analysed the comparison of collecting amount of web site board using javascript. We obtained the result of 1,000 web page collecting compared to conventional method in case of 1,000 web site board.

  • Web service, the next generation of distributed computing, is a distributed solution that handles all businesses through standard techniques in the internet. Web service performs its function using web interface. The goal of this thesis is to reduce network overloading. to manage WSDL efficiently, and to provide convenience to service users by simplifying the web service procedure. Web service system proposed in this thesis is based on WSDL Repository that can include UDDI and store WSDL. WSDL Repository manages WSDL by file system and has UDDI Registry embedded within it. Because this system is based on WSDL Repository, Web service supplier must register WSDL when he registers services. Then, users can receive WSDL too when he searches for services.

  • W3C는 2006년부터 유비쿼터스 웹 도메인을 신설하고, 웹 애플리케이션을 다양한 기기가 자신에 적합하게 이용할 수 있도록 하는 표준화의 일환으로 기기독립 활동을 시작하였으며, 현재는 유비쿼터스 웹 애플리케이션 활동으로 신설되어 데스크톱 컴퓨터뿐만 아니라 사무자동화기기, 가정용 전자기기, 이동 전화, RFID와 바코드를 포함하는 센서와 이팩터(effector) 등의 다양한 유비쿼터스 기기에서 분산된 웹 애플리케이션의 개발을 단순화하는 표준 개발 작업을 착수하였다. 본 논문에서는 W3C의 DIAL, DISelect, DCCI, CC/PP, SCXML, EMMA를 중심으로 유비쿼터스 웹 표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

  • With the advances in multimedia databases on the World Wide Web, it becomes more important to provide users with the search capability of distributed multimedia data. While there have been many studies about the database selection and the collection fusion for text databases. The multimedia databases on the Web have autonomous and heterogeneous properties and they use mainly the content based retrieval. The collection fusion problem of multimedia databases is concerned with the merging of results retrieved by content based retrieval from heterogeneous multimedia databases on the Web. This problem is crucial for the search in distributed multimedia databases, however, it has not been studied yet. This paper provides novel algorithms for processing the collection fusion of heterogeneous multimedia databases on the Web. We propose two heuristic algorithms for estimating the number of objects to be retrieved from local databases and an algorithm using the linear regression. Extensive experiments show the effectiveness and efficiency of these algorithms. These algorithms can provide the basis for the distributed content based retrieval algorithms for multimedia databases on the Web.

  • The parallel/distributed processing with a lot of the idle hosts on the web has the high coot-performance ratio for large-scale applications. It's processing has to show the solutions for unpredictable status such as heterogeneity of hosts, variability of hosts, autonomy of hosts, the supporting performance continuously, and the number of hosts which are participated in computation and so on. In this paper, we propose the strategy of adaptive tack reallocation based on performance the host job processing, spread out geographically Also, It shows the scheme of dynamic host management with dynamic environment, which is changed by lots of hosts on the web during parallel processing for large-scale applications. This paper implements the PDSWeb (Parallel/Distributed Scheme on Web) system, evaluates and applies It to the generation of rendering image with highly intensive computation. The results are showed that the adaptive task reallocation with the variation of hosts has been increased up to maximum 90% and the improvement in performance according to add/delete of hosts.

  • Timely collaboration among businesses is required these days such as in B2B E-Commerce. That is, emergency requests or urgent information among businesses should be processed in an immediate mode. In this paper we investigate the semantics on timing constraints of timely collaboration among businesses in terms of event, data, and action and present ECA rule construction related to the timing constraints and its violation. The prototype is implemented using web-based active functionality component.
