Effects of three different types of dispersions and flow improving additives composed with fatty acid esters, fatty acid metal salts and amide compound on the vulcanization and the mechanical properties properties of rubber compounds of EPDM and carbon black as fillers. were investigated using Mooney viscometer, moving die rheometer, hardness tester, and universal test machine. The aging characteristics of vulcanized EPDM compounds were also investigated. The Mooney viscosity measured at $125^{\circ}C$ showed a tendency to decrease in the order of amide type> metal salt type > ester type additive. Scorch time showed little or no difference with the addition of ester or metal salt type additives, but the amide type additive shortened a scorch time more than one minute. Rheological measurement data obtained at $160^{\circ}C$ showed that the vulcanization time was faster for metal salt type and amide type additive systems. Delta torque values of EPDM compound increased with metal salt type and amide type additives, but slightly decreased with ester type additive. The tensile strength of the EPDM compound was greatly improved when an ester type additive was added, but the amide type or metal salt type additive had no significant effect. The elongation was significantly improved for metal salt type additive, while the rest were not significantly affected. The tear strength of the EPDM compounds increased with the addition of all kinds of additives, and it increased remarkably in the case of metal salt type additive. Hardness of the EPDM compounds was nearly same value regardless of additive types. The thermal aging of the EPDM blend at $100^{\circ}C$ for 24 h showed little change in the case of metal salt type or amide type additive, but the elongation tends to decrease by 10-20% for all EPDM compounds containing additives.
Using a Rheometrics Fluids Spectrometer(RFS II), the steady shear flow and the small-amplitude dynamic viscoelastic properties of three kinds of semi-solid food materials(mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, and wasabi) have been measured over a wide range of shear rates and angular frequencies. The shear rate dependence of steady flow behavior and the angular frequency dependence of dynamic viscoelastic behavior were reported from the experimentally measured data. In addition, some viscoplastic flow models with a yield stress term were employed to make a quantitative evaluation of the steady flow behavior, and the applicability of these models was also examined in detail. Furthermore, the correlations between steady shear flow(nonlinear behavior) and dynamic viscoelastic(linear behavior)properties were discussed using the modified power-law flow equations. Main results obtained from this study can be summarized as follows : (1) Semi-solid food materials are regarded as viscoplastic fluids having a finite magnitude of yield stress, and their flow behavior shows shear-thinning characteristics, exhibiting a decrease in steady flow viscosity with increasing shear rate. (2) The Herschel-Bulkley, Mizrahi-Berk, and Heinz-Casson models are all applicable to describe the steady flow behavior of semi-solid food materials. Among these models, the Heinz-Casson model has the best validity. (3) Semi-solid food materials show a stronger shear-thinning behavior at shear rate region higher than a critical shear rate where a more progressive structure breakdown takes place. (4) Both the storage and loss moduli are increased with increasing angular frequency, but they have a slight dependence on angular frequency. The elastic behavior is dominant to the viscous behavior over a wide range of angular frequencies. (5) All of the steady flow, dynamic, and complex viscosities are well satisfied with the power-law model behavior. The relationships between steady shear flow and dynamic viscoelastic properties can well be described by the modified forms of the power-law flow equations.

The effect of mixing ratio of materials and their retort processing conditions on the physical properties and preference of oyster porridge were investigated. Rice gave adequate viscosity (about 800 cp) to the porridge as it was used 10~12% level and half of it was ground. Potato starch, waxy corn starch, and Perfectamyl AC showed small variation in viscosity unrelated to the temperature, that was a good condition for high quality porridge. Especially, waxy corn starch had a good property for retort porridge because its viscosity was maintained high during the processing and decreased to preferable one after processing. Purity CSC, modified starch gave gum-like texture and didn't cause water-separation much after freezing and thawing treatment of the porridge. Therefore, it was good for enhancing the physical property of the porridge as a co-additive of waxy corn starch when it was used at quarter level of waxy corn starch. Xanthan gum increased dispersibility of materials and it was useful for stabilizing physical quality of the porridge without affecting preference when it was used below 0.2% concentration. As a result, the optimal material-mixing ratio was determined as rice 10% (50% of it was ground), waxy corn starch 1.5%, Purity CSC 0.5%, xmthan gum 0.2%, salt 0.3%, and water 87.5%. Oyster's porridge, retort processed with this recipe, showed stable physical property after 6 month storage at room temperature.
Polycarbonate (PC)/graphene oxide (GO) composites with 3 phr of GO were prepared by using a twin screw extruder at 240, 260, and $280^{\circ}C$ after mixing the solution with chloroform. It was confirmed by DSC and TGA that the glass transition temperature ($T_g$) of PC/GO composites were not changed and the thermal stability was the best in case of the extrusion temperature at $260^{\circ}C$. Thermo mechanical properties of PC/GO composites according to extrusion temperatures were measured by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Storage moduli of PC/GO composites were higher than that of pure PC and there was no detectable changes at varying the extrusion temperature. Based on these results, the extrusion temperature of PC/GO composites was fixed at $260^{\circ}C$. The degree of the chemical reaction of PC/GO composites with respect to the GO reduction time was confirmed by the C-H stretching peak at $3000cm^{-1}$ and the degree of the chemical reaction was similar to that of GO when the reduction time was 1 h. A decrease in the complex viscosity as a function of the GO reduction time was detected by dynamic rheometer, which may be originated from the enhancement of GO dispersion by PC-GO reaction. The GO dispersion was confirmed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
Polymer blends containing poly(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) (ABS) and polycarbonate(PC) (70/30, wt%) with compatibilizer were prepared using twin screw extruder. Compatibilizers were prepared by reactive extrusion with the ABS, maleic anhydride(MAH) and dicumyl peroxide(DCP) using twin screw extruder In the ABS/PC (70/30) blends, tensile strength did not change significantly, but increased from 52.25 to 55.03 MPa when the ABS-g-MAH was added in the amount of 5 phr. From the results of rheological properties, storage modulus of the ABS/PC/ABS-g-MAH blends at low frequencies showed lager value than that of the ABS/PC(70/30) blend. From the results of the morphological properties of the ABS/PC(70/30) blend, it was observed that the drop size of the PC ranged from 1.2 to $1.5\;{\mu}m$ and did not change significantly with the addition of the ABS-g-MAH($1{\sim}10\;phr$). From the results of the storage modulus, complex viscosity, and tensile strength of the ABS/PC (70/30) blends, it is found that the ABS-g-MAH is an effective compatibilizer in the ABS/PC (70/30) blends when the ABS-g-MAH is added in the amount of 5 phr.

Since the concept of virtual currency called Bitcoin was announced in 2008, the blockchain technology, which is the basis of Bitcoin, is attracting attention as an important platform technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution that can change our society in the future. Although Existing electronic financial transactions store and manage all transaction history at a reliable central organization such as government and bank, blockchain-based electronic financial transactions are composed of a distributed structure in which all participants participating in the transaction store and manage the transaction history, it is possible to secure transaction transparency while reducing system construction and operation costs. Besides the virtual currency that started with bit coins, the technology of these blockchains has been extended in various fields such as smart contracts and document management. The key technology area of this blockchain is security based on proven cryptographic technology to make it difficult to forge and hack, but there are security risks such as security vulnerabilities in the virtual currency trading service, We will discuss security risks in using virtual currency and discuss countermeasures. Especially security accidents of virtual currency exchanges are occurring frequently recently, the damage of users who trade the virtual currency is also increasing, we propose security threats and security countermeasures against virtual currency exchanges.
Introduction of new design tools has been required to optimally design and operate the ventilation system of long vehicle tunnels.. The demand has led to wide spread use of the simulation technique throughout the would to analysis the dynamic relationship among the variables associated with vehicle tunnel ventilation. This paper aims at performing on-site study at local tunnels to test the applicability of NETVEN, a simulation model vehicle tunnel ventilation. The study was carried out at four urban as well as highway tunnels model of vehicle tunnel ventilation. The study was carried out at four urban as well as highway tunnels employing different ventilation systems as well as traffic methods. There were some discrepancies sound between the simulation output and measurements and the following four factors are considered to mainly cause those disagreement. (1) The real situation shows distinctive transient and retarding characteristics with respect to air flow and contaminant dispersion, while ventilation forces are not steady-state and in particular those traffic and climatic variables show significant instantaneous variation. (3) Near the exit portal, the CO levels show bigger differences. The general trend is that data with higher CO concentrations carry bigger discrepancies. Turbulent diffusion is though to be the main reason for it and also contribute to the fact hat the highest CO concentrations are found at the locations somewhat inward, not at the exit portals. (4) Higher traffic rate results in higher discrepancies of ventilation velocity. Along with the exhaust characteristics, the vehicle aerodynamic characteristics need to be studied continuously in order to reduce the velocity disagreement.

The development of ICT is spreading various contents to enhance health care and management efficiency through convergence between mobile and healthcare, but it indicates consumer acceptance and imbalance of mobile healthcare, and there is a lack of empirical research on functions and acceptability required according to consumer behavior and characteristics. This study sought to understand whether users were aware of and how to address the risks associated with smartphone use, and to conduct research on the acceptability and function and price of healthcare applications. For the purpose of the study, the data prepared in depth 1:1 survey for those who participated in and attended the 'BIO 2018 in Boston' exhibition was used for the actual analysis. The collected sample data included frequency analysis, technical statistical analysis, speech only correlation, chi square test, one-way analysis, and accuracy test. As a result, the more you realize the wrong attitude, the higher the awareness of risk and willingness to take action to solve problems. Second, it is necessary to increase satisfaction with the functions of healthcare apps, as well as to utilize health care and healthcare apps. Third, focus should be placed on systems or functional implementations centered on user behavior changes. Fourth, it is necessary to develop services that can enhance visual motivation. This study is meaningful in that it identifies a variety of consumer characteristics and provides directions for development of functions, and can be used as a basis for providing efficient healthcare applications in the future.

In order to use the sea flowering plant, Zostera marina, as a cosmetic ingredient, this study was conducted to evaluate its antioxidant effect. We confirmed the formulation stability of the emulsion containing Zostera marina extracts. We studied the antioxidant activity of the dissolved Zostera marina extracts through the DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazy) radical scavenging activity assay and SOD (superoxide dismutase)-like activity assay. Also, the pH, viscosity and particle dispersion of the emulsion containing Zostera marina extracts were measured using a Turbiscan LAB. The emulsions were measured at one-week intervals in a thermostat chamber ($25^{\circ}C{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C{\pm}1^{\circ}C$) for 28 days. The extracts of Zostera marina showed a DPPH radical scavenging rate of 86.21% and SOD-like activity of 99.24% at 5.00 mg/ml and exhibited a dose-dependent increase in their antioxidant activity. We measured the stability of the pH, viscosity and emulsion particles using the Turbiscan LAB in a thermostat chamber for 28 days. The formulations to which the Zostera marina extracts were added were considered to be stable, due to their negligible physical property changes over time during storage. The results suggest that the Zostera marina extracts with 70% ethanol (v/v) could be used in cosmetics as an antioxidant for the anti-aging of skin.

Line density index(LDI) was developed to quantify a densely isothermal line rate as standard index in the ocean environment. Theoretical background on the LDI development process restricting index range 0 to 100 was described. And validation test was done for the LDI application condition that total line length is not greater than 1/10 of unit area. NOAA SST(Sea Surface Temperature) data were used for the experimental application of LDI in the South Sea of Korea. Using GIS, $0.1^{\circ}C$ isothermal lines were linearized as vector data form SST raster data, and unit area were built as polygon data. For the LDI calculation, spatial overlapping(line in polygon) was implemented. To analyze the effect of unit area size for the LDI distribution, two cases of unit area size were designed and descriptive statistics was calculated including performing normality test. The results showed no change of LDI's essential characteristics such as mean and normality except for the range of value, variance and standard deviation. Accordingly, it was found that complex structure of thermal front and even smaller scale of front width than unit area size could influence on the LDI distribution. Also, correlation analysis performed between LDI and difference of temperature(${\Delta}T^{\circ}C$), and horizontal thermal gradient(${\Delta}T^{\circ}C/km$) on the front was obtained from linear regression model. This obtained value was compared with the results from previous researches. Newly developed LDI can be used to compare the thermal front regions changing spatio-temporally in the ocean environment using absolute index value. It is considered to be significant to analyze the relationship between thermal front and marine environment or front and marine organisms in a quantitative approach described in this study.
