The purpose of this study is to develop a parent education program to improve anger control ability of parents of elementary school children so that it could help them to perform their parental role. In the analysis stage, previous studies were examined to explore in depth the ways to improve anger control ability. In the design stage, the goals were confirmed and learning objective for each session was defined, and according to this, the contents of education were selected. In the development stage, 8 sessions of education activities were formulated with 2 hours for each session and experts were consulted to examine the validity of the contents. In the execution stage, the operating method was proposed and the program was applied with a total of 8 sessions, 1 session for a week. In the final assessment stage, the effect of the program was assessed. Assessment of the program was carried out by both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method was verified by pre-and-post comparison, and analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. For the qualitative method, questionnaire and interview were used. After the program was implemented, the pre-and-post comparison was carried out. The result shows there was significant improvement in both anger control ability of parents and parenting efficacy. The cognitive-behavioral anger control program was implemented for eight weeks, twice a week, 40 minutes each. The findings of the study were as follows: The cognitive-behavioral anger control program served to cut down on the anger-provoking experiences, to improve their anger controllability, to boost their peer relationship, and that effect lasted till six weeks later. And the cognitive errors they made during the program were in the order as follows: stating the oughtness of their behavior, followed by naming, seeing everything in black and white, emotional judgment, mind reading, linking the situation to themselves, overgeneralizing, and hasty conclusion. The ways to correct the cognitive errors were in the order as follows: putting oneself in another's place, explaining in a different manner, looking for proof, thinking of it is so difficult to indure, thinging of there is moral to it, and thinking of how angry after passing time.

The study involved 402 hygienists from different dental institutions. Clustering analysis was carried out to classify the types, and logistics regression analysis to find the related factors. Based on the types of anger expressions found in dental hygienists, they were divided into an anger control group and anger out-in group, with the former comprising 233 participants (58%). The results show that those with higher self-esteem (OR=5.592) and enjoying greater social support from their colleagues (OR=1.172) tend to belong to the anger control group. This driving simulation study examined the effect of driver's state driving anger(SDA) on collision avoidance(CA) and situation awareness(SA), as well as the moderating effect of driver's positive and negative affect(PA and NA) on the relationship between the driver's SDA and SA. The results showed the followings. First, high SDA group collided with the leading vehicle more frequently than low SDA group. Second, neither the driver's trait driving anger(TDA) nor PA/NA yielded significant changes in SA after SDA was induced. Third, high SDA tended to lower SA but this tendency was observed only when the driver's NA was high. These results suggested that SDA than TDA is a significant deteriorating factor of the driver's SA, and more importantly, SDA should be considered with other affect-relating variable such as NA in explaining the effect of SDA on driver's SA and CA.

Anger cause heart disease and domestic violence and recently there have been an increasing number of media reports of crimes committed because of their inability to control their anger. Anger has been reported to cause massive financial losses due to heart disease and domestic violence. Therefore, since anger raises serious social problems and social costs, it is necessary to take active intervention methods to alleviate inappropriate anger coping. A variety of methods such as cognitive and emotional approach, psycho-mechanical approach, psycho-educational approach, relaxation therapy, cognitive behavior-art therapy, and stress immunization are being explored and utilized for presenting effective anger-coping intervention alternatives. In this manner, information and communication technology is likely to be used as an effective means for this, and various researches are being conducted. The purpose of this study is to develop an anger coping service technology using ICT (Information & Communication Technology) technology as an effort to improve anger coping ability. In other words, the goal is to develop a technology that delays anger and evokes the surroundings by providing location-based services to recognize anger situations and facilitate anger. This research is about the technology which intervene directly the anger situation to resolve it using location information and introduce the base technology to realize it.

The results are as follows respectively: life stress 1.34/4, state anger 1.24/4, trait anger 1.57/4 at average, and among optimism was 3.45/5 at average. Multiple regression analysis showed perceived physical health status(${\beta}=.20$ t=2.72, p=.007), satisfaction on college(${\beta}=.19$, t=2.53 p=.012) and life stress (${\beta}=-.14$ t=-2.28, p=.027) were related to factors. They accounted 18.2% of the optimism of the subjects. However, there was no significant correlation between optimism and anger of nursing students.
