연구의 목적은 최서해, 박계주, 안수길의 이민소설을 중심으로 1930년대 북간도에 대한 조선이민의 공간이미지를 조사하며, 이것이 이주와 정착과정에 미친 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 최서해, 박계주, 안수길은 리얼리즘 작가로서 많은 장편과 단편 소설을 통해서 당시 북간도라는 이민공간에 있었던 조서이민의 삶을 사실적으로 형상화하였다. 따라서 이들 소설은 그 자체로서 1930년대 북간도의 지리적 현상이며 동시에, 지리적 자료로서 가치를 지닌다. 조선 이민의 공간이미지를 보면, 이주 전 이미지와 이주 후 이미지 사이에 차이가 있다. 이주 전 이미지는 북간도 공간에 대한 지식과 그들이 접한 정보를 중심으로 형성된 객관적 이미지이다. 이것은 이주 후 삶의 공간으로서의 개인적 체험과 고향의식을 통해서 개별적이고 주관적인 이미지로 변화되었다. 객관적 이미지는 이주 의사 결정에 영향을 주었고, 주관적 이미지는 북간도에서의 적응과 정착과정에 영향을 주었다.

This study attempts to understand the Facebook advertising diffusion behavior in the situation of increasing consumer activeness. Especially, this study focuses on the influence of motives for using Facebook on Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. -Survey for 243 university students was executed after preliminary interview for extracting question items of motives for using Facebook.- This study finds that the experiencer of Facebook advertising diffusion behavior shows stronger motives for using Facebook than non-experiencer of Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to find out the impact of verified variables on Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. It was found that 'self-expression motive' influences on the all Facebook advertising diffusion behavior significantly. Based on the results, academic and practical implications are discussed.

A geophysical survey was undertaken at Wiri area, Andong, to delineate subsurface structure and reveal the fault zone nearby which heaving of road and subsidence of slope occurred in 1997, especially in the heavy rainy season. Electrical resistivity methods of dipole-dipole array profiling and Schlumberger array sounding and seismic methods of refraction and reflection were performed for the mapping of clay layer, which was interpreted to be the major factor among the reasons of slope deformation. The clay layer was characterized by lower electrical resistivities (< $100{\Omega}{\cdot}m$) and lower seismic velocities (<400 m/s), respectively. The results of electrical and seismic surveys showed that subsidence of slope was probably associated with sliding of wet clay on 18SW/NNW trending fault plane, while heaving of road was probably caused by upward movement of the wet clay through subvertical NNE trending fault.

Vector quantization with two-channel conjugate codebook has been researched as an efficient coding technique that can reduce the computational complexity and codebook storage. This paper proposes FSVQ using two-channel conjugate codebook in order to reduce the number of state codebooks. Input vector in the two-channel conjugate FSVQ is coded with state codebook of a seperated state according to each codebook. In addition, LOT is adopted to obtain to obtain a high coding gain and to reduce blocking effect which appears in the block coding. As a result, although FSVQ can achieve higher data compression ratio than general vector quantization, it has a disadvantage of having a very large number of state codebooks. However FSVQ with two-channel conjugate codebooks can employ a significantly reduced number of state codebooks, even though it has a small loss in the PSNR compared with the conventional FSVQ using one codebook. Moreover FSVQ in the LOT domain can reduce blocking effect and high coding gain compared with FSVQ in the spatial domain.

1992년 영국에서 시작된 영아독서운동인 북스타트(Bookstart)가 2003년 우리나라에 도입되어 몇몇 지자체들을(서울 중랑구, 서울 중구, 인천 연수구, 전남 순천시) 중심으로 시행되고 있는 가운데, 공공도서관을 기반으로 한 북스타트 운동이 울산남부도서관(관장 고경희)에서 전국 최초로 시작되었다. 도서관은 이를 계기로 지난 1월 26일 도서관 1층에 40평 규모의 영ㆍ유아자료실을 새롭게 마련하고, 북스타트 운동의 확산에 힘을 기울이고 있다. 도서관의 북스타트 운동은 지역주민들의 호응을 얻어 관련 예산이 10배 가량 증액되는 성과를 얻었으며, 담당자는 이 운동에 관심을 갖고 사업을 준비하려는 전국 공공도서관의 문의에 답하느라 요즘 정신이 없다고 한다. 적은 예산과 인원으로 현상 유지도 빠듯한 요즈음, 새로운 프로그램 도입을 개척해나가는 도서관 운동가들의 열정에 경의를 표한다.

This study will analyze the meaning and the characteristic of advertising system in Facebook, one of the leading social platforms. This study focuses on finding the trend of mobile advertisement and observing Facebook users behavior. During 30seconds, the researcher observed the behaviors of 50 male and female university students which they access and use their own Facebook individually. After the observation, the researcher did an in-depth analysis based on offline discussion with tested participants. As a result, it can be classified in positive causes and negative causes of the advertisement. There are 3 positive causes; native advertisement effect, acquaintance effect, and big data effect and they help people watch the advertisement positively. 1.5-3 times per second high speed scroll behavior (Finger effect) is the main negative cause and it help users escape from the advertisement easily. These positive and negative causes have an interactive synergy which reduces user stress and makes people enjoy ad more than other media. Finally, both of them cause making Facebook a better environment for the advertisement.

The recent advent of the digital age changes socio-cultural environments. Since the value of technology is moving to the value of culture, new research areas which are the convergence of emotion, knowledge, and technology. These trends enlarge interactive digital multimedia in daily human life. One of them, book, also envolves new concept. Over electronic book, we present digilog book which is fusion of old-media and digital media. In this paper, we define digilog book as a new conceptual media and discuss it in details. Several digilog books are showed as an example and its authoring tool, ARtalet is introduced.

A granite rock body, called 'Bukbawi', located on a mountaineering trail at Mt. Palgong Provincial Park is popular among the public because it resembles a percussion instrument. If someone hits the specific surface area of this rock body, people can hear drum-like sound. Such phenomenon may be geologically associated with exfoliation process of the granite body or miarolitic cavity developed after gasses escaped during formation of granite. To understand better the inner structure causing drum-like sound, we carried out a non-destructive ground-penetrating radar survey. In this study, as our primary target is very close to the surface, we utilized 1 GHz antennas to produce high-resolution near-surface images. In order to construct 3-D internal images, the measurements were conducted along a pre-defined grid. The processed radargrams revealed that the locations associated with 'drum' sound coincide with strong reflections. In addition, both reflection patterns of fracture and cavity were observed. To further quantify the observed reflections, we simulated GPR scans from a synthetic fracture in a granite body, filled with different materials. The simulated results suggest that both exfoliation process and miarolitic cavity may have contributed to the 'drum' phenomena. Furthermore, the radargrams showed a well-developed cavity signature where two major reflection planes were crossed. Thus, our study is an example of non-destructive geophysical studies that can promote Earth Science in the broader community by examining geological structures attracting the public.

우리나라의 보일러 산업은 짧은 역사에도 불구하고 가스 수요의 증가와 함께 장족의 발전을 하여왔다.그러나 업계의 과잉경쟁에 의한 양적인 성장 이면에는 기술개발의 한계로 인한 제품자체의 결합이나 설치, 시공상의 하자, 가스 배관 내 이물질 등의 문제로 인한 가스보일러 사고가 종종 발생하고 있다. 우리 온돌 시공 인들이 일선 현상에서 가스보일러를 직접 설치, 시공하는데 조금이나마 도움이 되어 가스보일러 사고를 예방함으로써 가스안전 문화를 정착시키는데 기여했으면 한다.
