The purpose of this study is on the solution of the problem that have made university students poor readings. What is the factors in make poor progress in reading of the university students. This study suggested the policies and strategies for correcting and improving the poor reading of university students. Especially in this study, it is necessary to establish the reading philosophy of the university students. That is the presentation of reading certification and the credit system of reading in educational system and in reading guidance.

본 연구는 초등학교 읽기 부진 학생의 학업 성취도를 증진시킬 수 있는 Blended learning 설계 전략을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 읽기 부진아의 원인 및 특성, Blended learning의 개념과 유형에 관한 선행연구를 고찰하고, 읽기 학습부진아의 원인과 개별적 특성을 바탕으로 오프라인과 온라인 학습을 결합한 Blended learning 설계 전략을 탐구하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 Blended learning 설계 전략에 따라 읽기 학습부진아를 지도한다면 읽기 학습부진아의 학습참여도 향상과 학업성취도 증진에 많은 도움이 될 것이며, 읽기 학습부진아 지도를 위한 학습 프로그램 개발에 필요한 노력과 비용이 줄어들 것으로 기대된다.

7차 교육과정에서 컴퓨터 교육이 정식교과로 시작된 이래 올바르게 교과교육으로 정착되어 가고 있는가에 대한 현황 파악에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 그 중에서 특히 학교교육에서 중요시하는 부진아 발생현황에 대해 파악하여 이의 발생 원인을 분석하여 대처 방안을 수립하는 것은 매우 중요한 사항이다. 향후 컴퓨터 교육이 개정교육과정에서 정식교과로 정착되기 위해서는 교과의 학습 부진아에 대한 연구와 개선 방안에 대한 연구가 필연적이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 7차 교육과정의 시작 이래 진행되어 온 부진아의 발생현황과 원인을 분석하였다.

본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 학습을 하는 학습자들 중 특히 학습 부진을 겪고 있는 학생들의 학습 동기를 유발시킬 수 있는 교수법 정책에 대해 제안해보았다. 제안된 학습동기 유발 정책들을 수업에 참여하고 있는 학습 부진 학생들에게 적용한 뒤 학기말에 설문조사를 통하여 그 결과를 분석함으로써 어떤 방법이 내재적, 외재적 학습 동기 유발에 효과적이었는지를 평가하고 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of reading program for the 'low-reading achiever' on reading ability. In this regard, this study investigated the effectiveness of bibliotherapy in improving reading attitude, and self-concept in fifth and sixth grade student. In this study it is illustrated how to form questions and leads a discussion for a bibliotherapy session and suggested reading list and annotated bibliography.

If a learner should fail to complete previous courses before moving on to the next level will face difficulty keeping up with it. Such personal tuition for those having trouble coping with their class is an issue that needs urgent addressing, which cannot be a burden only to teachers, this study has been conducted to sought for a solution. This study has developed and put into application a web based analyzing system to assess the area of deficit in students followed by obliterating accumulated learning deficits to impart assistance for their study. The subject of the study comprised of ten students from a school where the researcher is on duty and the field of assessment with the analyzing system were numbers and calculations. As a result, we could find out its efficiency in elevating their capability and interest in learning, which was proven to be statistically significant using ANOVA.

In this study, as a teaching way of classes by achievement level, low level students have taken five-minute tests that could be efficient in remedial feedback, and we have investigated the students' improvements of their assessment in mathematics through each of the unit tests. The results show that the five-minute tests with low level classes helped them develop mathematics problem-solving skills and also form positive attitudes about mathematics. More studies of the various methods must be done so that low level students can develop their abilities to solve mathematical problems skillfully.

The purpose of this study is to suggest Reciprocal Peer Tutoring(RPT) for mathematics underachieving students as one way of the instructional strategies to supplement their lack of mathematics learning and to provide them with successful experiences in learning mathematics. We defined underachieving student in mathematics as the student whose mathematics achievement was high or middle level in the middle school but became lower in high school. Four mathematics underachievers voluntarily participated in this study. We examined the effects and roles of RPT by focusing on their positive change in the affective domain. RPT was conducted for about three months, including pre-training, pretest, and posttest. As the results of this research, RPT has generally made positive changes in the affective domain of underachieving mathematics students. Although four students did not show the same pattern of change and the sub-elements of positive change were different for each student, RPT provided opportunities for 4 all students to experience positive change.

This study investigated the development of geometrical thinking levels of the under achievers at mathematics through supplementary classes according to van Hiele's learning process by stages using mathematical journal writing. We selected five under achievers at mathematics among the fourth graders. We examined their geometrical thinking levels in advance and interviewed them to collect basic data related to their family backgrounds and their attitude toward mathematics and their characteristics. Supplementary classes for the under achievers were conducted a couple of times a week during 12 weeks. Each class was conducted through five learning stages of van Hiele and journal writing was applied to the last consolidating stage. After 12th class had been finished, posttest on geometrical thinking levels was conducted and the journals written by the pupils were analyzed to find out changes in their geometrical thinking levels. The result is that three out of five under achievers showed one or two level-up in their geometrical thinking levels, though the other two pupils remained at the same level as the results by the pretest. Moreover we found that mathematical journal writing could provide the pupils with opportunities to restructure the content which they study through their class.
