  • This study make an investigation into the quality of sand supplied with remicon manufacturing plant and examine concrete influenced by a source of supply of sand. As a result of the indoor test, the quality of crushed sand, EEZ sand and sand of north korea are worse than general sea sand. therefore, crushed sand, EEZ sand and sand of north sand lower quality of concrete.

수도권 부순모래의 품질현황 및 부순모래 대체율에 따른 콘크리트의 특성에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Properties of Crushed Sand in Capital Region and Concrete according to the Replacement Ratio of Crushed Sand)

  • Generally, aggregate may limit the workability, strength and durability of concrete, and good concrete cannot be made with aggregate of bad property including low strength, bad shape and grading. But recently, it has been insufficient in quantity to collect good natural aggregate because of exhaustion of aggregate resources. In case of Korea, the using ratio of crushed stone occupies about 97 percent of total coarse aggregate, and ratio of crushed sand occupies about 18.3 percent of total fine aggregate. This is an experimental study to compare and analyze the properties of crushed sand for concrete in capital region and concrete according to the replacement ratio of crushed sand to improve quality and mix design of concrete using crushed sand. According to test results, it was found that nearly all the properties of crushed sand satisfied with the value recommended by KS. And it is recommended that FM of crushed sand should be lowered by improvement of manufacture system or grading adjustment should be used because FM of crushed sand was a bit higher.

  • This study is to investigate the application of concrete with crushed sand on site. As a result, it is showed that the combined sand mixed with sea sand is very desirable for obtaining workability and strength of concrete, and the optimal replacement percentage of crushed sand is 50% with sea sand. After all, the crushed sand could be sufficiently used as a fine aggregate for concrete in the aspect of economical efficiency and quality, but the particle shape and microsand passing No.200 sieve should be firstly improved for increasing workability of concrete on site.

  • There are carbonatiion, salt attack, freezing & thawing and alkali-aggregate reactions as the cautions of durability lowering of concret structure. Generally, these cautions complicatedly lower the durability of structure and among these cautions the most serious problem is salt attack and carbonation. This study is intending to get the carbonation phenominon, that among cement calcium hydroxides change into calcium carbonate by responding to carbon mitrogen in the air.

  • In this paper, study on applicability and quality control of the concrete using crushed sand. Recently, Trouble of sand supply is occurred according to exhaustion of natural sand resources.   • Recently, trouble of sand supplying is occurred according to exhaustion of natural sand resources. Therefore various measures are proposed for solution of trouble of sand supply and crushed sand among measures is used as one of most universal measures. But because crushed sand have poor particle shape and plenty of makes micro particle, the quality of concrete using crushed sand deteriorated. Therefore, this study evaluated engineering property of concrete with replacement ratio of crushed sand and EEZ sand and applied evaluation result to fundamental data for quality control of concrete using crushed sand and EEZ sand. The result of this study have shown that quality of concrete using crushed sand and EEZ sand and The compressive strength of concrete up to 50, 70% EEZ sand replacement by crush sand, nearly equal to that of general sand.

  • 본 연구는 CLSM(Controled Low-Strength Materials)의 고유동화에 필요한 분체량과 경제적을 고려하기 위하여 산업부산물인 Reject Ash의 사용량 변화와 순환모래(고품질, 저품질)와 부순모래, 공기량 변화에 따른 CLSM의 물리적 특성을 분석하여 고유동 CLSM에서의 Reject Ash와 순환모래의 활용성을 검토하였다.

  • This study investigates influence of particle properties of crushed sand on the duality of concrete. The test shows that an increase of fineness modulus(FM) resulted in high slump and air contents, while compressive strength decreased due to decreased adhesion with reduction of surface area. As grain shape become rounder, the slump of concrete increased, due to reduction of internal friction, and increased air contents. The reduction of adhesion by abrasion of surface declined compressive strength during the process of manufacturing crushed sand. Increase of powder contents decreased slump and it also decreased air contents due to the effect of filling air void. In addition. using powder contents increased compressive strength, but could not find any difference of bleeding and tensile strength with particle properties.

재령에 따른 포장용 콘크리트의 강도특성 예측식 개발 (Development of Model Equations for Strength Properties with Age in Concrete Pavement)

  • 본 연구는 콘크리트 포장설계법에 사용되는 재료입력변수의 DB화를 염두에 두고 신뢰성 있는 콘크리트 물성 정량화 수립을 목적으로 수행되었다. 실험에 사용된 포장용 콘크리트는 화강암, 석회암, 사암의 조골재를 사용하였으며 화강암 배합의 경우 세 골재로서 자연사, 세척사, 부순모래 배합을 포함하였다. 먼저 콘크리트 강도시험을 통해 얻은 데이터를 이용하여 강도간의 상관관계 모델식을 정리하였다. 그리고 각 조골재별로 재령에 따른 압축강도, 휨강도, 쪼갬인장강도 및 탄성계수의 모델식을 제시하였다. 화강암 배합의 경우 세골재로서 사용된 자연사, 세척사, 부순모래 배합을 모두 포함한 산술평균을 적용하여 모델식을 제시하였다. 한편 쪼갬인장강도와 탄성계수는 실험방법 및 계측상 결과가 분산되는 경향이 있어서 상관관계식에서 예측된 값과 직접 구한 실험결과에 대해 산술평균을 적용후 보정하여 각 조골재별로 재령에 따른 탄성계수 및 쪼갬인장강도의 예측식을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 각 조골재 배합별 콘크리트의 포와송비 및 건조수축에 대한 기준 값을 제시하였다.

  • Recently, interest grew on the quality of aggregates following the diminution of primary resources from river and the growing construction demand which exhausted high-quality sand sources around large cities and incited the use of low grade aggregates like shore sand and sea sand that can be supplied in natural state. Moreover, the most sensitive aspect highlighted by the unstability of aggregate supply is the quality. The extreme insufficiency of quality criteria about the materials currently used as substitute aggregates and about concrete mixed with such materials is also critical.
