부분요인배치법을 이용한 비에스테르화 바이오 디젤유의 성능 최적화를 위한 인자 선정 (Selection of Factors for Performance Optimization on Non-esterified Bio-diesel Fuel Using Fractional Factorial Design)

  • 비에스테르화 바이오 디젤유는 에스테르화 공정을 거치지 않기 때문에 공정에 드는 비용이 절감되며 경유에 5%로 혼합하여 전자제어 분사식 디젤엔진에 사용할 경우 에스테르화 바이오 디젤유보다 경유에 더 유사한 성능을 나타내었다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 경유에 5% 혼합된 비에스테르화 바이오 디젤유를 전자제어 분사식 디젤엔진에 적용하기 위해서는 성능 최적화가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비에스테르화 바이오 디젤유의 성능 최적화를 위한 기초 실험으로 연료소비율, 질소산화물 및 도시평균유효압력을 반응치로 정하고 제어 가능한 6가지 인자에 대해서 그 영향력을 평가하고자 부분요인배치법을 이용하여 25%와 50%의 부분 부하에서 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 6가지 인자 중 분사시기 및 커먼레일압력이 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤고 각 부하에서 영향의 크기는 다르게 나타났다.

  • 인터넷이 활성화되고 무선통신 가입자들이 늘어남에 따라 인터넷에서도 이동성이 필요하게 되었고, 이부분은 IETF의 Mobile IP WG에서 연구중이다. Mobile IP는 1996년 표준화가 된 이후 계속적인 성능 개선이 이루어져 왔으나 아직도 미흡한 부분이 많은 실정이다. 이에 IETF에서는 SeaMoby WG를 만들어 Mobile IP에서의 미흡한 부분을 추진중이다. 본 논문에서는 SeaMoby WG에서의 주요 이슈중 IP 페이징에 대해 다를 것이다. 기존의 셀룰러 망과는 달리 Mobile IP에서는 페이징을 지원하지 않기 때문에 이동 호스트의 이동성을 관리하기 위해 망에 많은 시그널링 부하가 생기게 된다. 위치등록(바인딩 업데이트)과 페이징 기술의 적절한 조화는 망의 부하를 줄이고, 이동단말의 전력소모를 줄일 수 있다. 특히, 2계층에서만 이루어졌던 페이징이 3계층인 IP계층에서 페이징이 이루어짐으로서 차후 All IP망에서 하위계층에 독립적으로 페이징을 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문은 IP망에서의 페이징의 필요성과 제안된 적용방안들을 살펴본다.

가정용 목재 펠릿 보일러에 대한 부분부하 운전 특성 (Part Load Performance Characteristics of Domestic Wood Pellet Boiler)

  • Recently domestic wood pellet boilers are installed in rural and forestry houses. The fuel price per lower heating value of wood pellet is about 20 % lower than that of heating oil on July 2010. In spite of lower price of wood pellet, a few user of wood pellet boiler complain expensive fuel cost. One of this reason is inaccurate or improper air-fuel ratio setting of wood pellet boiler. O2 concentration of flue gas of domestic wood pellet boiler is about 9.7 % and there are few domestic wood pellet boiler which can control air-fuel ratio automatically. We tested a domestic wood pellet boiler in changing boiler thermal output and air-fuel ratio. The nominal boiler thermal output is 25 kW (21 500 kcal/h). We measured thermal efficiency and flue gas concentrations such as CO and NOx at each boiler thermal load with various air-fuel ratio. The results show that if air flow rate is the same as full load and part load, thermal efficiency of part load of 40 % drops about 7.7 %p compared to boiler full load case.

  • This paper presents analysis results for the effect of power control strategies on the part load performance of gas turbine based power generation systems utilizing exhaust heat of the gas turbine such as cumbined cycle power plants and regenerative gas turbines. For the combined cycle, part load efficiency variations were compared among different single shaft gas turbines representing various technology levels. Power control strategies considered were fuel only control and IGV control. It has been observed that gas turbines with higher design performances exhibit superior part load performances. Improvement of part load efficiency by adopting air flow modulation was analyzed and it is concluded that since the average combined cycle performance is affected by the range of IGV control as well as its temperature control principle, a control strategy appropriate for the load characteristics of the individual plant should be adopted. For the regenerative gas turbine, it is likewise concluded that maintaining exhaust temperature as high as possible by air flow rate modulation is required to increase part load efficiency.

  • The purpose of this study is to obtain low-emission and high-efficiency by hydrogen enriched LPG fuel in LPG engine and is to clarify the effects of hydrogen enrichment in LPG fuelled engine on exhaust emission and performance. An experimental study was carried out to obtain fundamental data for performance and emission characteristics of hydrogen enrichment in LPG engine. The research was held by changing the hydrogen ratio to 0, 5, 10, 20% in 1500rpm, bmep 2 and 4bar. The result turned out that the combustion duration was shortened due to fast flame propagation of hydrogen. And the amount of Carbon dioxide and Hydrocarbon decreased. However, the amount of NOX increased, which is thought to be the result of high adiabatic flame temperature of hydrogen. It has been confirmed that this phenomenon has changed by the Hydrogen mixing ratio.

  • To fulfill the demands concerning energy efficiency for zero energy buildings, various technologies of architects and engineers are required. This study aims to estimate the thermal performance of heat source equipment in which part load characteristics are considered in an office building. Overestimation of heat source equipment was reviewed through literature survey, and heating and cooling loads depending on the capacity and division of the equipment were analyzed through a simulation program (DOE-2.1E). The conclusions gained from this study are as follows; 1) The more the division of equipment, the less the heating and cooling energy consumption. 2) When a large item of equipment is divided into two small items of equipment, the optimum application rate showed as 5:5 for chiller, and 7:3 for boiler, respectively.

  • This paper presents modelling and analyzing method of centrifugal chiller which has a rated capacity of 200 RT(703 kW) through on-site performance test. Field data of chiller installed in the clean-room building of KIST have been collected, Simple models were developed for predicting the heat exchangers and system performances by regression of chiller operation data during 5 days in August. The models proposed here account for the effect of variations of cooling capacity, temperatures and flow rates of secondary fluids. The models are consistent with real performance data from June to September within ${\pm}5%$ error. The COP of centrifugal chiller are estimated under the standard rating conditions and reduced mass flow rate of chilled and cooling water.

  • 본 논문에서는 정합 필터 출력을 이용하여 연산 복잡도가 감소된 DS/CDMA DMB 하향 링크 시스템에서의 부분 공간 채널 추정 기법을 제안한다. 연산 복잡도 감소 효과는 채널 벡터의 길이가 짧고 시스템의 부하가 적절할 때 매우 크게 나타난다. 이전에 제안된 부분 공간 채널 추정 알고리즘은 화산 이득이 큰 시스템에서 막대한 연산 복잡도 문제를 겪게 된다. 제안된 알고리즘에 약간의 성능 손실이 발생하지만 데이터 행렬의 길이가 길어지게 되면 그 영향은 미미해진다. 시뮬레이션과 분석적인 MSE 성능의 유도를 통해 성능을 평가한다.

흡수식 냉온수기의 부분부하에 따른 냉각수 변유량시 성능특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Characteristics of an Absorption Chiller for Variable Cooling Water Flow Rate at Partial Load Conditions)

  • In general, an absorption chiller or heat pump is operated under the constant cooling water flow rate condition even though the system works with a partial load. The objective of this paper is to study the effect of the cooling water flow rates and the temperature of cooling water on the system performance to find the energy saving methode for the partial load operation of the double effect $H_2O$/LiBr absorption chiller. It is found that the performance of the system is sensitive to the temperature of cooling water than the cooling water flow rate, so the decrease of the performance due to reducing the cooling water flow rate can be overcome with the reduction of the cooling water temperature by 1$^{\circ}C$. The flow rate of the cooling water flow rate ranges from 50% to 100% of the flow rate at normal conditions with a partial load. It is also found that the operation cost of the cooling water pump and the cooling tower can be reduced by 23%.
