This study examines the process of developing and managing parent participation education programs, its performance, and its factor of deriving performance targeted on multi-cultural parents with children in early elementary school. Particularly, opinions of multi-cultural parents were considered and every process of developing and managing the program in this study was reflected. The analysed results were largely divided into three upper categories, which were 'growing as parents', 'forming new multi-culturalism', 'creating support system', and eight sub-categories. In addition, the factors that led to the positive achievement of program were appeared as 'development of active education program', 'organization and operation of parent inclusive program', 'utilization of flexible group structure', 'implementation of close interaction and communication between the members of the development team and the management team'. Based on the following results, we propose development and management process for effective multi-cultural parent education program.

This study was aimed to investigate the status and the relation of problem drinking, the influence of parents' problem drinking and codependency among students in Dept. of Social Welfare for students to become competent social workers on problem drinking, which is a serious social problem in our society. The subjects of this study consisted of 303 persons who were the university students of Dept. of Social Welfare in the east of Gangwon-do. The data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from Nov. 22th to Dec. 12th, 2012. Results indicated that 91.1% of students were drinkers, the average of problem drinking based on international standard of AUDIT was 8.33, and problem drinking showed significantly in sex. 30% of students were influenced by parents' problem drinking, both the influence of parents' problem drinking and codependency showed significantly in family income. The average codependency of students was mild level and the influence of parents' problem drinking contributed significantly to the codependency. Implications of findings of this study were discussed.

This study examined the influences of parental acceptance-rejection, father involvement, and parental power-prestige in childhood on adult psychological maladjustment. Participants were 168 women. Stepwise regression results showed that father and mother's rejection in childhood were association with adult psychological maladjustment. However, both father involvement and parental power-prestige in childhood had no effects on adult psychological maladjustment.

This study's aim is to examine child's life competency that middle high school parents perceive and study the influence of parenting stress, parent efficacy, depression, parent education participation on child's life competency. The study was conducted towards parents who have children attending middle school and high school in Dae-jeon. Official cooperation documents were sent to middle schools and high schools located in Dae-jeon in April, 2013. Surveys were sent by e-mail and a total of 800 replies (excluding those with missing data) collected throughout December 10th to 20th, 2013 were used in the final data analysis. SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs were used for analysis and subject's general characteristics and percentage were analyzed. Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient was used in order to examine the variant's relation. Path model analysis was used to study variant's path and direct and indirect effects of the paths were analyzed as well as the significance. The study's results showed that child life competency and related variants had a high correlation and path model analysis showed that parenting stress, parent efficacy, depression, participation of parent education had a direct and indirect influence on child's life competency. Parenting stress has influence on parent efficacy and depression, but parent education has a different influence on child's life efficacy according to participation. Based on these results, policy suggestions are made throughout family academic perspectives in order to enhance child's life competency.

Recently, contests for college students have emerged as an important factor in employment through self-development, and parents' psychological control on college students can prevent the development of autonomy by suppressing decisions and expressions without helping their children become independent. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the parental psychological control perceived by college students affects the motivation to participate in the contest through self-determination. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the psychological control of separation anxiety of parental psychological control negatively affects only the competence among self-determination. Second, it was found that achievement-oriented parental psychological control had a negative effect on all factors of self-determination. Third, it was found that among self-determination factors, competence had a positive effect on pleasure, financial reward, and recognition of others, and a negative effect on a sense of accomplishment. Fourth, it was found that the relationship among self-determination factors had a positive effect on pleasure, financial compensation, and recognition of others. The results of this will be used as basic data to understand the motivation of college students to participate in the contest and the psychological control of their parents.

The purpose of this study was to examine if influence parents on soccer player role socialization. The participants of the study are 149 who are university soccer players. The stratified cluster random sampling method has been used in this study. The material collection device was the brochure named [Influence parents on soccer player role socialization]. The result of reliability check up was Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. 8847~.7306. To analyze materials, the "ANOVA" and "regression analysis" were used as statistic analysis techniques. The conclusion based on above study method and the result of material analysis are here below. 1. Participation of parents influence on status of team internal. 2. Participation of parents influence on position of team. 3. Participation of parents influence on career of get a prize.

The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of the Children's Rights Guarantees among parents and child service providers in a local community, and to explore ways to organize Child Friendly Cities. To this end, I analyzed survey data collected from a municipality based in Seoul, Korea, and discovered certain differences in recognitions of play and leisure, citizen and participation, safety and protection, health and social service, education, and housing. Among the six categories, the parents and child service providers recognized that education and housing were relatively well guaranteed whereas citizen and participation was less secure. Child service providers were more negative in the physical environment for building child-friendly community, while parents were more negative about the institutional / cultural environment, such as participation rights. Based on these findings, I suggested the following: First, the physical environment should refer to the standards of child welfare officers, and the institutional and cultural environment should refer to the parents' standards. Second, the participation of parents and child service providers as well as children should be expanded in the community decision-making process.

The purpose of this study is to explore the structural relationships among parents' educational involvement and parental efficacy on students' school life satisfaction and school achievement and to determine whether there are any differences depending on family type and school level. Using data from 2,497 families that participated in the 2018 National Survey on Children's Life, t-tests and structural equation modeling were conducted. The results of this study demonstrated that two-parent families reported higher levels of educational involvement than single-parent families and custodial grandparent families. Also, two-parent families raising children in elementary schools showed higher educational involvement than two-parent families raising children attending middle schools. Second, parental efficacy was found to mediate the effects of parents' educational involvement on students' school life satisfaction and school achievement. Third, the path coefficients between parents' educational involvement, students' school life satisfaction, and school achievement showed statistically significant differences depending on family type, with two-parent families having greater involvement than single-parent families and custodial grandparent families. Fourth, multiple group analysis reported a statistically significant difference in the relationship between parents' educational involvement and school achievement as well as parental efficacy and school achievement depending on the school level.

The aim of this research was to investigate how a family forest education program can improve communication skills, parenting efficacy, and family strengths. For this study, 165 people answered survey questions. The sample group included 103 parents, and 62 children, all of which were family forest education program participants at the National Center for Forest Education, in Hoengseong, Korea. Surveys were conducted before and after participants had taken part in the program. Demographic information, motivation, satisfaction, communication skills,and parenting efficacy were investigated in the surveys. The results showed a statistically significant increase in the level of family strengths of parents and children after the program. Moreover, the program improved parenting efficacy, and parent-child communication skills, which are deeply related to family strengths. In other words, the family forest education program contributed to the enhancement of family strengths. This study verifies the need for continued research in forest education programs.

본 연구는 육아종합지원센터의 가정양육지원 사업의 운영 사례를 통해 부모의 만족도 및 개선점을 확인하였다. 이를 위하여 육아종합지원센터의 가정양육지원사업에 참여한 부모를 대상으로 276명을 임의표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며 빈도 및 백분율을 분석하였다. 양적연구에 이어 심층 면담을 순차적으로 수행하는 혼합적 연구 방법을 적용하였고, 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정양육지원사업의 만족도를 높게 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 가정양육지원사업의 개선점은 부모가 가정양육지원 사업에 참여할 수 있도록 소그룹형태의 가족체험프로그램 확대에 대한 인식이 높으며, 사업에 대한 홍보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 육아종합지원센터의 가정양육사업에 참여한 부모의 만족도 및 개선점을 확인하여 가정양육사업의 향후 방향성을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
