Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate pediatric nurse parent partnership and factors associated with this partnership. Methods: A survey was conducted with 158 nurses working in pediatric practice at one of 7 hospitals in Seoul, Incheon, and Chungcheongbuk Province. Data were collected from September to December 2013, and analyzed with SPSS Windows 21.0. Results: In hierarchial multiple regression analysis, self-efficacy (${\beta}$=.19, p=.016), clinical decision making (${\beta}$=.15, p=.046), and empowerment (${\beta}$=.29, p=.001) were associated with pediatric nurse parent partnership, after adjusting for marital status, children, education, position and satisfaction with work unit. These factors accounted for 44.0% of the variance in the pediatric nurse parent relationship. Conclusion: These results suggest that pediatric nurse parent partnership could be influenced by the predictors. Ultimately, intervention programs focusing on these factors should be effective in helping pediatric nurses improve partnership with parents.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between attachment and automatic thoughts of adolescents. A sample of 443 students at middle and high schools participated. Adolescents reported parent and peer attachment using the modified version of Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Armsden & Greenberg, 1987) and automatic thoughts using the modified version of Automatic Thought Questionnaire (Hollon & Kendall, 1980; Ingram & Wisnicki, 1988). Multiple regression analyses indicated that effects of attachments were different by the type of automatic thoughts. Specifically, trust in peer relations, trust in father-adolescent relations and communication in mother-adolescent relations were important predictors of positive automatic thought, whereas alienation in father-adolescent relations, alienation in peer relations and trust in mother-adolescent relations were important predictors of negative automatic thought.

Objects : This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between parenting style and depressive trait in adolescents. Methods : 287 Middle school students were asked to complete self-report questionnaires including the Parental Bonding Instrument(PBI) and the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI). Results : Relations between two sets of variables were examined by means of the Pearson's correlation coefficient. It was suggested that the relationship with their mothers had more influence on the depressive trait of adolescents. The mean scores of children's depression inventory were significantly higher in group whose parents had been overprotective and less careful, than whose parents had been careful and not overprotective. Conclusion : The results support that the adolescents' depression is significantly related to the parenting style. Among parental bonding types, the high care-low overprotection type was most favorable and the low care-high overprotection type was worst.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of mobile phone dependency in the relationship between parenting attitude and juvenile delinquency. This study used the secondary data from the $1^{st}$, $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ waves of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(2010, KCYPS). The data of 2,086 middle school students were analyzed by utilizing Structural Equation Model(SEM). The results are as follows. First, positive and negative parenting attitudes had no direct effects on juvenile delinquency, while positive parenting attitudes had significantly decreased adolescents' mobile phone dependency. In addition, negative parenting attitudes had positive effects on adolescents' mobile phone delinquency. Second, mobile phone dependency was fully mediated by parenting attitudes and juvenile delinquency. On the basis of these results of study, policy and practice implications were discussed to reduce juvenile delinquency by improving parenting attitudes.
This study analyses the effect of gender on the support and control dimension of the relationship between adolescent children and their parents in 5 countries - Korea, Japan, U.S., Germany, and Sweden. This study predicts that mothers are more supportive and less controlling towards their children than fathers; that parents are more supportive towards their daughters than sons; and that supportive relationship is most pronounced in mother-daughter relations while controlling relationship is pronounced in father-son relations. We used the 2006 multi-national survey data collected by the National Youth Policy Institute for the analysis, selecting the cases in which the youth respondents were born between 1988 and 1993 and were living with both biological parents. All three hypotheses are supported in Korean cases. In the cases of the other nations, the hypotheses are only partially supported. In all the 5 nations, mothers are more supportive towards their children than are fathers. While parents are more supportive towards daughters than towards sons in most countries, the impact of children's gender in producing differences in parental behavior is less profound than the impact of parent's gender. Gender affects the control dimension of the relationship only in Korea and U.S.
The objective of this study was to investigate the sibling relationship, the attachment to parent and peer according to children's gender, birth order, and sibling gender composition. For this purpose, 697 male and female elementary students answered the questionnaire, who were selected because they had only one sibling. The date were analysed by t-test and partial correlation. The major finding of this study showed that children who had same sex of sibling perceived more positive way to their younger sibling then children who had different sex of sibling and that children who had female sibling perceived more positive way to sibling relationship, attachment to parent and their peers than children who had male sibling.

Second, the components of 'human development and family' domain of high school home economics curriculum in 2015 revision were considerably related with the components of parent education curriculum for college students. Third, the components of 'human development and family' domain in middle and high school home economics curriculum in 2015 revision and parent education curriculum for college students showed a hierarchical pattern in range and depth of contents. On the basis of these findings, the effectiveness of teaching parent education in middle and high school curriculum was discussed.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between parental perfectionism, academic stress, and life satisfaction among high school students. For this purpose, 290 high school students from the P region were surveyed. We performed a t-test to see if there were significant differences in students' life satisfaction and perceived academic stress between the low parental perfectionism group and the high parental perfectionism group. The results of the study are as follows. First, the low parental perfectionism group reported a significantly higher level of life satisfaction than high parental perfectionism group. Second, the relationship between perceived parental perfectionism and students' academic stress was significant, which shows that the high parental perfectionism group perceived a higher level of academic stress than the low parental perfectionism group. The results indicate that parents' perfectionistic tendencies can lead to higher levels of academic stress of their children, which also can reduce their life satisfaction.

This study is to identify different patterns of childhood's smart media literacy and to predict factors relating to smart media literacy behaviors. Also, the purpose of the present study is to examine parents' and teachers' mediation of childhood's smart media literacy. The data were collected from 400 elementary students in Korea and we presented two patterns of smart media literacy : perception literacy, critical literacy. The results showed positive relationships between perception literacy and parental active and passive mediation. And a teacher's active and passive mediation was positively associated with children's perception literacy. In addition, the results of this study showed that parental active and passive mediation also affected the critical literacy. It was found that there were significant differences in sociological characteristics like in gender, school year, spending time, a double income family on smart media literacy. This suggests that a parent's active and passive mediation may lead to activate children's smart media use.
