  • The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze the conditions and automation of sewing machines and thereby, address the problems and their solutions to help local sewn products enhance their international competitiveness. The results of study can be summarized as follows : 1. It was found that most of the sample companies were getting smaller scale or pettier in terms of capital, number of employees or scale of factory. The interest in facility investment was relatively higher, which suggests high interest of our sewing companies in facility investment. 2. Most of the sample companies were well equipped with the essential and several auxiliary sewing machines, but poorly equipped with the special or automated sewing machines. 3. The ratio of idle machines was highest in sewing work, compared with cutting or finishing work, primarily due to decreased orders, aging machines or reduced manpower.

국내외 무봉제 니트웨어 디자인 경향 (Seamless Garment Knitwear Design Trend)

  • This study is the design case analysis of seamless knitwear in order to suggest a new direction of high value-added seamless knitwear and seek for its possibility. Seamless knitwear is the up-to-date knit product that is made by a knitting machine without sewing, and it maintains elasticity of a material itself and is the closest type to the essence of knitwear. The seamless knitwear can satisfy satisfaction of customers with more elegance and individuality and become a method to develop a high value-added design. This study suggests a new direction for the 21st century knitwear design through a practical approach of seamless knitwear designs, pursues a high value fashion, and contributes to improving national competitiveness of fashion industries in order to be a practical research data for seamless knitwear designs.

  • Fluctuation of control rod was experienced when plant was operating in normal operation mode in WH type NPPs. In order to cope with increased control rod fluctuation, the lead-lag controller setpoint for rod control system was optimized and resulted in increasing the margin of operation and minimizing unnecessary control rod movement. By optimization of the time constant, the margin of operation was increased by $1.5^{\circ}F$ and the control rod movement was not occurred due to mitigation of temperature fluctuation in loop. According to the mitigation of time constant, the margin of operation was increased but safety margin can be affected badly, so that the influences to FSAR design reference was evaluated. As the result of this evaluation, it satisfied the design reference of the existing safety analysis and was applied to NPP after obtaining the approval.

봉제속도에 따른 봉합강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Seam Strength according to Sewing Speed)

  • This study has investigated the relation between the sewing speed and seam breaking strength applied perpendicular to the seam direction. Breaking strength efficiency breaking mode of seams were examined under various sewing conditions using three kinds of sewing threads and four kinds of fabrics. The results obtained are as follows : 1. According to the increase in sewing speed seam strength was remarkably decreased. Seam strength and its loss difference were shown variously as threads and fabrics were mixed. 2. In case of fabrics with higher strength seam strength showed higher. And the seam strength was determined by the loop strength. 3. In case of fabrics with lower strength seam strength and its difference for every sample showed lower. So the strength of fabrics dominated the seam strength than those of threads. 4. In the experiment using various fabrics and sewing threads there was a type of thread appropriate to each fabric. Fabrics and threads with have similar physical properties were shown proper seam efficiency. 5. The breaking mode was different for every sample seam that was tested.

  • With the trend of wearing mountaineering wear as casual apparel as well as a continuous increase of mountaineers, mountaineering wear market has rapidly grown. New techniques to improve mountaineering apparel have been developed. Construction Without Sewing(CWS) is one of them. It is a sewing technique to improve performance and functions of new functional mountaineering apparel. CWS employs a welding machine with an adhesive tape and press instead of sewing so that it makes the apparel lighter and have better wearability, durability, and windproof and waterproof function, than sewed apparel. This study focuses on the concept, nature, and applications of the mountaineering wear manufactured by CWS. It also made an analysis of manufacturing process, and proposed three designs for the mountaineering wear created by CWS. With introducing the merits of CWS, the costumers will be have better understanding of CWS and break their stereotype that functional clothing is simply expensive without considering its benefits.

  • The results of study can be summarized as follows: 1. Few sewing companies committed their workers to a professional and systematic training course. 2. Brands as Brother, Juki, Yamato, Singer and Nara were being much used. Among them the Brother was most popular. The age of the sewing machines was between one and six years. Most companies were repairing their machines. The manual main sewing machines were more frequently out of order than other machines. The ratio of idle machines was highest in sewing work, compared with cutting or finishing work, primarily due to decreased orders, aging machines or reduced manpower. 3. Most of the sewing companies were feeling necessary for automated sewing machines.

  • 본 연구에서는 PET 직물의 물성개선과 품질의 향상을 위해 직물 제조 공정 중 제직준비공정인 ITY, P/W, 2-for-1공정에서 여러 가지 공정인자의 변화를 주어 염색 가공 공정을 거친 최종 11가지 직물의 역학적 특성치 및 각 공정별 시료의 물성을 측정하여 직물의 감성특성인 Handle, 의복성능 및 봉제성을 평가하여 직물 제조 공정특성이 직물 감성에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다.

  • 모직물에 있어서 접착심지의 기능은 의류를 착용하는 과정에서 의류외관 특성에 대단히 중요한 특성이다. 본 연구에서는 여러 가지 직물구조인자를 다르게 한 모직물에 대해 부직포 접착심지의 적합성을 분석하였다. 모직물의 직물 구조인자로서 위사의 꼬임수와 경·위사 밀도를 달리하며 직물 조직이 다른 8가지의 직물을 제조하고 현재 의류 봉제과정에서 사용하고 있는 부직포 접착심지 3가 지로써 24가지의 부직포 접착심지가 부착된 시료를 만들었다. 이들 시료를 KES-FB계측장치를 사용하여 이들 시료의 역학량을 측정하여 이들 값에서 의류 물성을 예측하였으며 드라이 크리닝 반복에 따른 부직포 접착심지의 적합성을 분석 조사하므로써 심지에 따른 의류의 물성 변화를 조사하는 기초연구를 수행하였다.

재장전노심의 노물리시험중 제어봉제어능 측정방법들에 대한 통계적 추론

  • 국내 가동중원전의 노물리 시험중 제어봉제어능 측정시 적용되는 측정방법들에 대해 실제 측정결과를 이용해서 통계적 분석 및 추론을 수행하였다. 1988년부터 현재까지 약 8년간 모든 발전소에서 행한 측정결과에 대해 통계적 분석 및 주요 시험변수들과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론이 도출되었다. 제어봉 제어능 측정결과는 전반적으로 측정치가 예측치에 비해 작은 경향을 보이고 있다. 붕산희석법은 측정오차가 가장 작았고 임의성을 가지며, 노심의 붕산농도와 상관관계가 있다. Framatome방식의 제어봉교환법은 비교적 측정오차가 크나, 시험변수들과의 상관 관계는 가장 미약하다. CE 방식의 제어봉교환법은 Swap 방법 중에는 측정오차가 가장 작고 임의성이 있으나, 붕산농도 및 기준제어군 제어능 측정오차의 크기와 강한 상관관계를 갖는다. Westinghouse 방식의 제어봉교환법은 가장 측정오차가 크며 대부분의 측정결과에서 측정치가 작게 편향되어 있다. 그리고 시험제어군의 제어능이 작을수록 측정오차가 커지는 강한 상관관계가 있으며, 기준제어군 제어능 측정오차의 크기와도 상관관계가 있다.
