  • It was decided by national vote in Panama to expand the Panama canal. Therefore 12,000TEU sized vessel can pass the canal from 2014. The Far East-North America shipping route, over than post panamax size vessels have to use other routes such as Miniland bridge instead of using the panama canal due to limitation of canal size. Therefore, some changes in the transport route in Far East-North America are expected due to expansion of Panama canal. The objective of this paper is to analyze the transport cost between Far East and North America then compare the competition between Panama canal route and land bridge route.

  • International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)은 국제 규격을 제 개정하는 단체로서, 1906년에 설립된 조직이다. 2006년 말 기준으로 67개국의 회원 국가를 보유하고 있으며 총 5,613개의 규격을 제 개정하고 있다. IEC는 많은 수의 규격을 제 개정하기 위하여 100개의 Technical Committee (TC)와, 각 TC 산하에 Subcommittees(SC)를 두고 있다. SC는 다시 산하에 Working group(WG)을 두어 실제적으로 해당 국제규격의 제 개정은 바로 이 WG에서 작업을 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 IEC TC17내의 SC17B와 SC17D의 구성, 현황 및 활동과 현재 진행되고 있는 저압차단기의 규격동향에 대하여 고찰하였다. IEC TC17은 차단기, 개폐기(스위치), 단로기, 버스관로 및 배전반등과 관련된 IEC 규격의 제 개정을 담당하고 있다. TC17 산하의 SC17B는 저압 차단기, SC17D는 저압배전반제품과 관련된 규격을 관리하고 있다. 한국은 SC17B와 SC 17D의 P-member(Participant)로서 투표권을 갖고 있으며, 한국전기연구원이 운영간사를 맡고 있다. 현재 국내기업체 전문가와 연구원들의 의견을 수렴하여 국가의견으로서 IEC에 제출하고 있지만 앞으로 더 많은 전문가들의 참여가 시급한 실정이다.

  • Recently, new types of security crimes have been steadily occurring in Korea due to environmental changes such as the development of IT technology, and responding to these threats has become a key national task for the establishment of a safe society as well as individuals and businesses. Meanwhile, as the Zero-Contact Era has arrived since the COVID-19 Pandemics, a new convergence security threat that combines the characteristics of the Zero-Contact Era with the existing IT development is threatening our society. Research to prevent and correct these new levels of threats is continuously required in this study. Chapter 1 examined the causes of new convergence security threats and Chapter 2 discussed cybersecurity, fake news, remote voting·work and video security threats as five major threats.

A Study on Efficient ID-based Partially Blind Signature (효율적인 ID 기반 부분은닉서명에 관한 연구)

  • Partially blind signature scheme allows the signer to insert non-removable common information into his blind signature. Blind signatures providing with both users privacy and data authenticity are one of key parts of information systems, such anonymous electronic cash and electronic voting as typical examples. Partially blind signature, with which all expired e-cash but for still-alive can be removed from the banks database, copes well with the problem of unlimited growth of the banks' database in an electronic cash system. In this paper we propose an efficient ID-based partially blind signature scheme using the Weil-pairing on Gap Diffie-Hellman group. The security of our scheme relies on the hardness of Computational Diffie-Hellman Problem. The proposed scheme provides higher efficiency than existing partially blind signature schemes by using three-pass protocol between two participants, the signer and requesters also by reducing the computation load. Thus it can be efficiently used in wireless environment.

  • Popular in discriminant classification analysis, k-nearest neighbor classification methods have limitations that do not reflect the local characteristic of the data, considering only the number of fixed neighbors. Considering the local structure of the data, the adaptive nearest neighbor method has been developed to select the number of neighbors. In the analysis of high-dimensional data, it is common to perform dimension reduction such as random projection techniques before using k-nearest neighbor classification. Recently, an ensemble technique has been developed that carefully combines the results of such random classifiers and makes final assignments by voting. In this paper, we propose a novel discriminant classification technique that combines adaptive nearest neighbor methods with random projection ensemble techniques for analysis on high-dimensional data. Through simulation and real-world data analyses, we confirm that the proposed method outperforms in terms of classification accuracy compared to the previously developed methods.

Analysis of International Standardization Trends of Smart Mining Technology: Focusing on GMG Guidelines (스마트 마이닝 기술 국제 표준화 동향 분석: GMG 가이드라인을 중심으로)

  • In this study, international standardization trend of smart mining technology was analyzed focusing on the guidelines developed by GMG (Global Mining Guidelines Group). GMG is a non-profit organization that unites the global mining community. It was established to promote mining safety, innovation and sustainability. Currently, GMG's working group consists of artificial intelligence, asset management, autonomous mining, cybersecurity, data access and usage/interoperability, the electric mine, mineral processing, underground mining, and sustainability. Guideline development projects related to smart mining technology are being conducted in artificial intelligence, autonomous mining, cybersecurity, data access and usage/interoperability, and underground mining. As of April 2022, eight types of smart mining-related guidelines have been published through pre-launch, launch, guideline definition, contents generation, technical editing/layout/final review, and voting process. It is judged that the GMG guidelines can be an important reference for the development of domestic smart mining technology standards.

  • Recently, many human activity recognition(HAR) researches using smartphone sensor data have been studied. HAR can be utilized in various fields, such as life pattern analysis, exercise measurement, and dangerous situation detection. However researches have been focused on recognition of basic human behaviors or efficient battery use. In this paper, exercising activities performed indoors and outdoors were defined and recognized. Data collection and pre-processing is performed to recognize the defined activities by SVM, random forest and gradient boosting model. In addition, the recognition result is determined based on voting class approach for accuracy and stable performance. As a result, the proposed activities were recognized with high accuracy and in particular, similar types of indoor and outdoor exercising activities were correctly classified.

  • Today's payment systems are becoming unmanned and changing to a way of paying with kiosks. This has the advantage of convenient payment because consumers can select a menu and specify the number of products to be purchased with just a touch of the screen. However, from the point of view of system security, the actual kiosk system has various vulnerabilities. This can hijack the administrator account, gain system privileges, and perform malicious actions. In addition, it is exposed to a number of security threats, such as the possibility of wasting unnecessary resources by abnormally increasing the number of payments, and causing the device to fail to operate normally. Therefore, in this paper, if any node of a participant in the solana blockchain approves an incorrect fork, the stake of the voting nodes is deleted. Also, since all participants can see the transaction history due to the nature of the block chain, I intend to write a thesis on a system that improves the vulnerability of kiosk payments by separating the access rights through the private blockchain.

  • Efforts to incorporate blockchain into various fields are continuing as cryptocurrency transactions become more active. Blockchain has the characteristic that once recorded facts cannot be modified or deleted. Due to these characteristics, the use in the field of recording and proving certain facts, such as voting or proof of ownership, is attracting attention. In this paper, users who want to participate in the transaction process using private blockchain, one of the types of blockchain, are divided into real estate brokers, building owners, and purchasers (lessors), and roles are assigned to each user. In addition, we would like to propose a system to increase reliability through the participation of institutions. Through this, we intend to not only present a real estate transaction system that prevents damage from real estate fraud related to false sales and fraudulent contracts, but also enhances reliability and contributes to finding ways to utilize blockchain in the future.
