몇 년 전부터 기존의 대형 영화관이 사라지고 소규모 영화관 여러개를 한곳에 집중하여 다양한 관객의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 복합놀이 공간 개념의 멀티프렉스 영화관이 많이 생겨나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반에게 약간은 생소하 영화관 관련 장비의 개요 및 설계시 주의할 사항에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 영화관 내 쾌적한 환경조성을 위한 방안 중 하나로 쓰레기 분리배출 현황을 살펴보고 문제점을 도출하여 이를 보완 및 해결 할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 수도권 중구에 위치한 국내 대표 영화관 3사인 CGV, Lotte Cinema, Megabox를 대상으로 분리배출 현황 및 안내사인 현황을 분석하고 영화관 이용자 남·여 110명을 대상으로 영화관 내 쓰레기 분리배출의 인식조사 및 안내사인 관련 조사를 실시하였다. 현황조사 결과 영화관 내 이용자를 통한 분리배출이 용이하지 않았으며, 안내사인 구축의 미흡과 방법 안내가 부족함이 그 이유로 도출되었다. 또한, 최대 문제점인 쓰레기분류항목으로는 음식물 쓰레기가 꼽혔으며 해결방안모색이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 안내사인의 선호형태와 부착위치, 부착 순서를 조사하였다. 최대 문제점으로 대두 되는 음식물 쓰레기의 분리배출 문제 해결에 초점을 두어 안내사인을 통해 해결방안을 모색하고 개선안 디자인을 제시하였다. 제시된 안내사인은 영화관이라는 특정 공간에서 쓰이는 안내사인임을 고려하여 제안되었으며, 조사대상인 대표 영화관 3사 중 Megabox를 중점으로 아이덴티티를 접목하여 디자인 되었다. 이를 통해 이용자들의 신속한 쓰레기 분리배출을 도와 쾌적한 환경제공 및 영화관 내 경제적, 시간적 측면에서의 비효율성을 줄이고자 한다.

영화관의 구조설계에서 중요한 고려 인자 중에서 음향적 관점뿐만 아니라, 영사기의 진동으로 인한 영상의 떨림 현상은 관람석에서 미치는 구조물의 동적 특성 문제에 있다. 이는 영사기-스크린-관람객 사이의 3인자에 내한 상대진동허용변위에 의해 지배됨을 고려하여, 이를 만족시키는 변수 등에 따른 진동허용규재치를 결정하는 절차가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 영화관의 진동허용규제치를 이들 3인자에 대한 변수들을 고려한 결정 과정을 공학적인 차원에서 정리하였으며, 복합상가 건물내의 영화관 영사실에 이를 만족하기 위한 진동 저감설계 자료에 활용하였다.

The study intends to provide basic information about waiting area in cinema. For the purpose above mentioned, it analysis properties of waiting area in 13 multiplex cinema sited on the metropolitan area & opened since 1990's. In addition, it analysis behavior and requirements of audiences. Among 13 multiplex cinema, it especially considered' ‘CGV Kang Byoun 11’ & ‘Goe Pyoung MMC’, studying distribution charts, circulation and behavior of audiences in waiting area. As a result the prior factors to consider in planning step of design are circulation scheme considering separation of admitting & exiting circulation, and space organization according to behavior of audiences.

Major companies have launched into the film industry since 1990s, which resulted in competition in facilities. In addition, restriction for the number of the prints was removed. Under these circumstances, the cinema has been transformed and developed from the established one-hall cinema into multiplex cinema with large-scaled halls. Contrary to the established cinema, modern cinema are a cultural place within easy access. They accommodate diverse social and cultural needs and their functions have been extending gradually. The waiting areas should not function only as the waiting space for the audience but also the places to attract the audience and provide them with various cultural and art information, and temporary restful break. For this study, the inter-relationship between the structure of the area and the audience are identified objectively by analyzing audience distribution and their routes within the area. The purpose of the study is to provide basic data about the design of the waiting area based on the findings above.

The purpose of this study is to investigate specific crowding areas resulted from diverse physical factors of multi-plex theaters in a fire evacuation, and more accurately predict the evacuation route of people. To achieve these purpose, the architectural characteristics of three multi-plex theaters in Jinju have been chosen, and the evacuation experiments through the computer simulation called Simulex were carried out for each on the these theaters. The conclusions from this study are as follows: (1) Crowding usually happens cross areas between theater inside and corridors, and Crowding rate depending on the number of cross areas. (2) It is necessary to design the escape routes being employed ordinary times. And the egress routes planning should be integrated into space programming at the early stage of building design.

용산민자역사현장은 용산 역세권개발 21만평 개발사업중 1단계로 연면적 82,356평의 대규모 민자역사 건설 및 복합상업시설을 신축하는 공사입니다. 용산역은 국철, 경의선, 경부선 등이 통과하고, 향후 고속철도 및 경의선의 출발역으로 기능을 담당하며, 복합상업시설에는 전자점, 영화관, 할인점, 전문점등이 있으며 2000년 10월 착공 2005.9 준공 예정이며, FAST TRACK으로 공사를 진행하고 있는 현장입니다.(중략)

복합 영화관은 여러 계층 및 연령대의 불특정다수인이 동시에 영화를 편안하게 즐길 수 있는 문화공간이다. 이러한 다중이 이용하는 시설은 다른 일반 소방대상물에 비하여 상대적으로 안전에 취약한 점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내에 있는 기존의 복합 상영관의 대표적인 모델을 선정하여 화재 및 피난시뮬레이션을 실시하여 피난안전에 대한 문제점을 분석하고, 각국의 관련기준과 비교하여 화재안전성능 확보에 필요한 내용을 파악하였다.
