  • As high density of cities, construction project is getting to be high rise, large sized and multi purposed, whereas it has some difficulties due to disordering of classification and undeveloped management systems. In this study, it would be suggested that classification method for knowledge and constraint of temporary facility in order to efficient decision making of temporary facility planning with knowledge reorganization and establishment process.

  • 오랜 기간동안 진행되는 사회간접자본 건설의 진행 상황을 관측하는 것은 대규모 공사의 종합적인 관리를 위해 필수불가결한 요소이다. 동북아 지역의 중추 공항 기능을 담당할 영종도 국제공항의 공사진행 과정을 관측하기 위하여 인공위성 영상 자료가 활용되었다. 바다위에 건설되는 공항의 특성으로 인하여 방조제 건설과 매립공사가 수행되었다. 활주로, 유도로, 여객터미널과 복합교통센터 등이 건설되었으며, 공항의 건설로 산림이 훼손되고 양식장과 염전이 매립되는 것이 관측되었다. 이러한 공항공사의 진척상태를 분석하기 위해서 시계열 Landsat TM 영상을 사용하였으며, 타 위성영상에서는 공항의 공사현황이 어느정도 분석가능한지를 가늠하기 위해서 KOMPSAT EOC, IRS-1C PAN, RADARSAT SAR 영상이 활용되었다. 시계열 Landsat TM 영상에서는 공항 부지의 매립 진척 현황과 산림의 벌채 등을 잘 분석할 수 있었다. KOMPSAT EOC 과 IRS-1C PAN 영상은 높은 공간해상력으로 건설에 사용된 가건물과 같은 세부적인 시설물을 관측할 수 있었다. 15m PAN 영상을 제공하는 Landsat ETM은 IHS 합성 후 분석하였는데, 기존의 TM 영상에서 분류하지 못했던 방조제의 도로와 성토를 구분할 수 있었다. RADARSAT SAR 영상에서는 광학영상에서 볼 수 없었던 독특한 정부 를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Project Management Institute of America separates the types of risk with external risks and internal risks. The external risk is an uncontrollable risk in projects such as changes of policy and related systems, climate, natural disasters, exchange rates and so on. The internal risk is an existing risk in the project itself that is controllable items in the project. Technical risks in project management are cost, quality, time, safety and environment. Therefore, both the external and internal risks should be managed to perform the construction project successfully. In particular, we can secure the quality and safety of facilities through the technical risk management. The importance of potential risk management has been emerging as a major interest and the lack of risk management delays projects and increases construction costs with negative effects of the building safety since the complex building, which is composed of a great number of facilities, consists of many project units and there are conflicts between various participants and stake-holders. This study presents the ways of establishing risk management processes to ensure the safety of the complex building. To that end, establishing procedure of risk management processes is presented and types of risk and factors in construction projects and counter strategies are presented as available risk information on the stages.

  • 국내 대하천 및 중·소규모 하천의 홍수터 공간을 활용하여 체육시설 및 공원 등과 같은 친수 시설물을 조성하여 친수공간으로 활용하고 있으며, 시민들의 친수활동 빈도는 증가추세에 있다. 특히 하천 내에서 수상 레크레이션 활동 등과 같은 다양한 친수활동이 증가하고 있으며, 하천친수에 관한 정보 수요가 급증하고 있으나 체계적인 공급은 미흡한 수준이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 친수공간 조성 및 유지관리에 대한 측면과 친수공간에서의 쾌적한 친수활동을 위한 정보제공 목적으로 하천 친수공간에서의 복합모니터링을 이용한 친수활동 종합지수를 산정 방법을 개발하고자 하였다. 센서 기반의 시계열 데이터 구축을 위해 하천 수질, 수리인자의 복합모니터링을 진행하였다. 수리인자(수위, 유속, 수면폭 등)와 수질인자(탁도, Chl-a, pH 등), 기상학적 인자(자외선 지수, 미세먼지 등) 등급에 따른 허용기준을 설정하여 각 등급 별로 수리인자의 값을 0~1 사이 값인 소속도로 변환하여 소속도의 합성 및 친수활동 등급을 결정하였다. 최종적으로 수리, 수질, 기상 인자별 소속도 함수 산정을 통한 퍼지합성 이론 기반의 친수활동 종합지수를 산정하였다. 그리고 친수활동 종합지수를 예보하기 위한 모델 적용을 위한 방향성을 정립하였다.

  • Construction projects are becoming larger in size and higher in complexity. Operation and maintenance, therefore, is an important part in providing the serviceability of the built facility from the perspective of life-cycle. This paper presents a 3D graphic model-integrated data extraction for bridge maintenance. The 3D graphic model environment assigns attributes to the member blocks in CAD, and link the attributes to the data stored in a database. Then, the user can click the member block to extract the data associated with the attributes. A prototype has been developed to test the applicability of the 3D graphic model environment using CAD and web. Application of the system in an actual bridge construction showed that the 3D graphic model environment can help the user find necessary data at a shorter time, thereby increasing the effectiveness of operation and maintenance in bridge structures.

  • 도로건설프로젝트에서의 VE는 도로시설물의 기능을 향상시키고 비용을 절감하기 위한 방법으로 지금까지 널리 활용되고 있다. 그러나, 실제 건설VE 실무에서는 VE Job Plan 중 일부 단계가 생략되거나 형식적으로 수행되는 문제점이 발생되어 VE 수행결과에 대한 신뢰성에 의문이 제기되고 있다. 이는 제조업과 달리 대규모이며 복합공종을 갖는 건설프로젝트의 특성을 반영하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 건설프로젝트는 대규모 복합공종으로 구성되어 복잡하고 다양한 기능 및 요구성능이 있으며, 시설물이 갖는 기능(Function)과 요구성능(Required Performance)의 일부는 반복적으로 발생하는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 VE Process의 실효성을 높이기 위하여 품질모델(Quality Model)과 기능분석(Function Analysis)단계에서 이러한 특징을 반영한 개선방향을 제시하고, 수차례 실무 검증을 통하여 적용성 및 효율성을 확인하였다. 이와 더불어 고속도로 VE Job Plan은 고속도로 설계 업무절차에 부합하도록 개선하여 VE 수행효과가 극대화 되도록 제안하였으며, 또한 한국도로공사에서 시행하는 고속도로 대한 VE절차를 "Hi-Value"라 명명하고 실무활용성, 효율성을 확대하고 지속적으로 발전시켜 나아갈 계획이다.

  • Traditionally, schedule analysis in Korea has been used, mainly through the Critical Path Method, to evaluate the claim for extension of time and/or the amount of liquidated damages for delay. Critical path method, however, cannot identify the delay event and its impact occurred in non-critical path especially in multi facility projects. In multi facility projects that comprise several independent but related facilities or structures, each facility has its own facility critical path the duration of which will be impacted by facility specific critical delays. Thus, only through the non-critical delay analysis along with the critical delay analysis damages not attributable to contractors may be remedied in full. Because all the records and pictures can reveal what has actually happened in post contract review, only the retrospective analysis rather than the prospective analysis based on the assumptions can establish the cause and allocate the each parties' responsibilities appropriately.

  • This paper aims to present accurately analytical modeling method for underpinning using uncertainty reduction, obtained from comparison between numerical analysis and Site measuring data during construction and service stages. Combination of various conditions should be considered for using numerical analysis to predict the behavior of the structure accurately, even though complexly considered the conditions, real construction should be secured the stability by applying the actual instrument measurement data because predicted results are including the considerable uncertainty. In order to secure the stability during construction, the real time instrument measurements together with numerical analysis results performed before construction state are complementary used actively. From the results of this study, the significant settlements are occurred not only in underpass structure of adjacent excavation area but also in the permanent steel pipe structures were analyzed. From the site measurement results of underpass settlement, the settlements are occurred in every stages of excavation, furthermore observed tendency is asymmetrical excavation patterns are settled more than symmetrical excavation patterns. The essential consideration points for numerical analysis are construction sequence, the direction of the existing facilities, the methods of elements modeling, the applied factors for nature of material and different results would be occurred depending upon inputting the above factors.

  • Amid increasingly saturated ground space, development of underground space has been booming throughout the world and excavation has been underway near the structure above or under the ground level. But the ground subsidence caused by improper or poor construction technologies, underground water leakage, sudden changes of stratum and the problem with earth retaining system component has been emerged as hot social issue. To deal with such problems nationwide, establishment of preventive and proactive disaster management and rapid restoration system has been pushed now. In this study, collection of the data on technology development trend to secure the underground safety was made, taking into account of internal change elements (changing groundwater level, damage to underground utilities, etc) and external change elements (vehicle load, earthquake and ground excavation, etc) during excavation. Amid the growing need of ground behavior analysis, ground subsidence evaluation technology, safe excavation to prevent ground subsidence and reinforcement technology, improvement of rapid restoration technology in preparation for ground subsidence and development of independent capability, this study is intended to introduce the technology development in a bid to prevent the ground subsidence during excavation. It's categorized into prediction/evaluation technology, complex detect technology, waterproof reinforcement technology, rapid restoration technology and excavation technology which, in part, has been in process now.

Analysis on Impact Factors of Open-cut Type Excavation Work using Numerical Analysis Method (수치해석기법을 이용한 개착식 지반굴착공사의 영향인자 분석)

  • In this study, an analysis about the causes of different types of excavation on accidents is required in order to prevent the frequently occurring accidents related to the earth retaining structure and excavation. Also, analysis of influence was performed by using numerical typical soil conditions and construction trend using numerical analysis method. According to the analysis results of 25 accident cases, the main influence factors were found as following: insufficient of soil survey, instability of temporary facility and lack of groundwater treatment, etc. Furthermore, in the numerical analysis result of 22 cases, drainage method was occurred larger settlement than waterproof method in the Inland. In case of applying the earth anchor method, it needs more detailed in the regions, which are discovered soft ground or rock discontinuities. Also, The consolidated clay absolutely needs further consideration of excess hydrostatic pressure.
