전자파가 새로운 환경오염원으로 인체에도 장해를 주고 있어 관심을 모으고 있다. 핸드폰을 사용하는 사람에게 뇌암 발생률이 높다는 보고가 있는가 하면 온몸에 강력한 전파를 쏘이면 태아 기형과 암을 일으킬 수 있다는 사실도 동물실험을 통해 알아냈다. 보건복지부의 한 관계자는 "전자파중 마이크로 웨이브가 인체에 해롭다는 사실이 확실해 가능한 한 전자파에 노출되지 않도록 해야 한다"고 권고하고 있다.

양계분야에 ICT(정보통신기술)의 접목 사례가 늘어가고 있다. 양계분야에서의 ICT는 급이, 급수, 환경관리가 주를 이루고 있으며, 최근에는 동물복지까지 범위를 확대하고 있다. 전자제어의 발달과 함께 ICT 기술은 스마트팜이라고 하는 새로운 시장을 창출해 가고 있는 것이다. 본고는 농장에서 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 ICT를 접목하여 스마트팜 시대를 열어가고 있는 트윈(대표 나재훈)을 찾아 향후 ICT 개발 현황 및 농가 적용 방안 등을 알아보았다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the job environment of nursing care workers on organizational commitment and to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction based on this. Data collection was conducted on 340 nursing care workers, centering on elderly care facilities in Gyeonggi-do, and the uncollected questionnaires and abnormalities were removed and the final 267 were selected as the subjects of the study. Data analysis results were derived through SPSS WIN 2.0 and PROCESS Macro V3.5, and Hayes (2013)'s Macro Model Number 4 was applied to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction. As a result of the analysis, the partial mediating effect of the job satisfaction was confirmed in the effect of the job environment of the caregiver on organizational commitment. Based on the analysis results, practical and policy suggestions for improving the job environment and increasing job satisfaction of nursing caregivers, and follow-up studies were proposed to overcome the limitations of this study.

Recently, the number of elderly living alone suffering from loneliness and depression is also increasing significantly due to the rapid aging of the population and nuclear families. In this paper, we propose a smart aging system that increases life satisfaction by providing the elderly with the optimal service tailored to the elderly with the help of IT according to their residential environment and health status. It is possible to provide an advanced customized support system for the elderly by fully utilizing IoT, AI, and Metaverse techniques not only for the elderly who want to live an active life in society but also for the elderly who need care in a nursing hospital. The proposed system provides human satisfaction by providing social connection in real space and virtual space in accordance with the residential environment and health status to the elderly suffering from loneliness in hospital (hospital care) facilities and at home. This paper proposes a new path for future-oriented welfare policy for the elderly by providing a user-customized smart aging system by combining AI and Metaverse technology with a rapidly changing social environment.

Purpose: The main objective of this paper is, to assess environment, care process, and patient-related factors associated with patient falls. The study also aims at identifying various factors that would affect inpatient falls and, therefore, helping both caregivers and designers contribute to better prevent inpatient falls in their own areas of expertise. Methods: A retrospective analysis of inpatient falls that occurred in the unit of General Medicine in the United States has been conducted and environment, care process, patient-related factors associated with those falls have been analyzed at the same time. Results: The study identified several factors associated with inpatient falls. They range from environmental factors to care process- and patient-related factors. Patient visibility and patient accessibility can matter to patient falls and where those falls occur, along with patient days per room, the percentage of patient days with high fall risk patients per room, the percentage of high fall risk patients per room. Implications: The findings of the study can provide design implications that can be incorporated into design process and design decisions to promote fall prevention in inpatient care units. Inpatient falls can be effectively reduced when caregivers and designers work together to understand the complex nature of inpatient falls and the importance of multidisplinary efforts among various experts in the areas of healthcare.
