The Development of Admin Tool System for Building Effective Web Mall (효율적인 웹 몰 구축을 위한 관리자 도구 시스템 개발)

  • Nowadays, Internet shopping malls have been popularized since the broadening of users of Internet and the advantage of on-line purchasing, Small and medium-sized enterprises, however, are still having difficulties in building Internet shopping malls due to the lack of technical knowledge and burdensome expenses. In this paper, we present an implementation of the Web Mall Admin Tool System by the integration of admin menus based on a public program. The system has several advantages of (1) reducing expenses for building a mall site, (2) making possible to build an shopping mall well-suited for the work environment of companies (3) providing available maintenance. Therefore, this provides the solution to enterprises that have trouble with building their own web malls because of expenses and maintenance.

A study on the Development of System for the Mobile Game based on WIPI (WIPI 기반 모바일게임 시스템개발에 관한 연구)

  • As the wireless internet applications are spreading more fast and the mobile devices are being used increasingly, it has recently been activated to develop a variety of contents for mobile service. Mobile services can be enjoyable whenever and wherever on would like to. They became so universal that they might reach all the area where the wire has never approached before. This study is to suggest a mobile game system based on the technology called WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), which can be easily available to anyone who would like to enjoy it. Game contents to use WIPI can allow the mobile carriers to provide users to download the common mobile application throughout the wireless web by sharing the internet platform. This can eventually lead to the generalization of transforming west game contents into WIPI-based. Therefore, the market of WIPI-based game contents will be expected to grow at high speed and its significance deserves to be considered for commercialization.

패턴 인식기법을 이용한 유출모형의 매개변수 최적화

  • 일반적으로 강우-유출모형은 lumped model과 distributed model로 크게 구분될 수 있으며, 우리나라에서는 이중 비교적 부족한 자료를 이용하여도 개략적 모의가 가능한 전자를 널리 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 모형들의 매개변수를 보정하는 방법에 관해 연구하였다. 일반적으로 모형의 보정 방법에는 크게 시행오차에 의한 수동보정(manual calibration) 방법과 최적화 기법에 의한 자동보정(automatic calibration) 방법으로 나눌 수 있다. 수동보정 방법은 모형 수행결과를 수문곡선의 시각적 비교에 의해 관측치와 비교하여 모형 운영자의 주관적인 판단하에 조정하는 기법이며, 자동보정 방법은 최적화 기법을 이용8하여 특정한 산정기준(estimation criteria)을 최대 또는 최소화시켜 모형의 매개변수를 결정하는 방법이다. 이러한 최적화기법은 일반적으로 직접탐색법과 경사법으로 구분할 수 있다. 경사법은 수렴속도가 빠르지만 편미분에 의해 방향을 찾아가는 방법으로 편도함수가 필요하므로 수문모형에는 적용하기가 힘들므로 적합하지 않다. 그러나, 보다 많은 컴퓨터 수행시간을 필요로 하는 직접탐색법의 경우 수렴속도는 느리지만, 편도함수를 필요치 않으므로 수문모형의 최적화 기법으로 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 직접탐색법에는 simplex-search 법, 패턴인식(pattern-search)법, rotating-direction 법, brent 법 등이 있으며, 본 연구에서는 직접탐색법의 일종인 패턴인식(pattern -search)법을 이용하여 매개변수 최적화 과정을 모의하였다. 이러한 매개변수 보정모형을 구성한 후 이를 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 유출모형인 각종 단위도법들을 결합하는 모형을 구성하였다. 또한 구성된 모형을 시범유역에 적용하여 나온 결과를 HEC-1에서 적용되고 있는 단일변량 증감법과 같은 최적화 기법을 이용한 결과와 비교·분석을 실시하였다. 본 모형을 활용하여 강우-유출 모형의 매개변수를 지속적으로 산정하고 일반화할 경우 임의의 유역의 수문기상학적 특성에 부합한 매개변수를 정량화 시킬 수 있었다.

The Beginning of the Usage of Buyeon (浮椽) in Ancient Korean Architecture (한국 고대 건축의 부연(浮椽) 사용 시기에 관한 연구)

  • The shape of the roof is very important, as it determines the beauty of the exterior of Korean wooden architecture. In particular, the curve of the eaves is the most representative of the characteristics of Korean wooden architecture. Rafters and buyeon (浮椽), flying rafters, create curves for the eaves, and buyeon in particular makes the roof lighter and more dynamic. Although the function and role of buyeon are already known, nothing is yet clear about the beginning of its use in Korean ancient architecture. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to determine when buyeon was first used in Korean architecture. To this end, I examined various records, buildings, remains, and artifacts that have architectural shapes in Korea, China, and Japan. The results are summarized as follows. First, the use of buyeon in China appears during the Northern Qi Dynasty (北齊) in the mid-6th century, but became common in the 7th century during the Tang (唐) Dynasty. Second, the use buyeon in Japan appears in the mid-8th century, when the capital was relocated from Asuka (飛鳥) to Nara (奈良). It corresponds with the time that Japan began importing Chinese culture directly. Third, the use of buyeon in Korea may have been introduced to Baekje from China in the mid-6th century, but it was not common. It is believed that it became common after active exchanges with the Tang Dynasty during the Unified Silla Period in the mid-7th century.

A Generalized Adaptive Deep Latent Factor Recommendation Model (일반화 적응 심층 잠재요인 추천모형)

  • Collaborative Filtering, a representative recommendation system methodology, consists of two approaches: neighbor methods and latent factor models. Among these, the latent factor model using matrix factorization decomposes the user-item interaction matrix into two lower-dimensional rectangular matrices, predicting the item's rating through the product of these matrices. Due to the factor vectors inferred from rating patterns capturing user and item characteristics, this method is superior in scalability, accuracy, and flexibility compared to neighbor-based methods. However, it has a fundamental drawback: the need to reflect the diversity of preferences of different individuals for items with no ratings. This limitation leads to repetitive and inaccurate recommendations. The Adaptive Deep Latent Factor Model (ADLFM) was developed to address this issue. This model adaptively learns the preferences for each item by using the item description, which provides a detailed summary and explanation of the item. ADLFM takes in item description as input, calculates latent vectors of the user and item, and presents a method that can reflect personal diversity using an attention score. However, due to the requirement of a dataset that includes item descriptions, the domain that can apply ADLFM is limited, resulting in generalization limitations. This study proposes a Generalized Adaptive Deep Latent Factor Recommendation Model, G-ADLFRM, to improve the limitations of ADLFM. Firstly, we use item ID, commonly used in recommendation systems, as input instead of the item description. Additionally, we apply improved deep learning model structures such as Self-Attention, Multi-head Attention, and Multi-Conv1D. We conducted experiments on various datasets with input and model structure changes. The results showed that when only the input was changed, MAE increased slightly compared to ADLFM due to accompanying information loss, resulting in decreased recommendation performance. However, the average learning speed per epoch significantly improved as the amount of information to be processed decreased. When both the input and the model structure were changed, the best-performing Multi-Conv1d structure showed similar performance to ADLFM, sufficiently counteracting the information loss caused by the input change. We conclude that G-ADLFRM is a new, lightweight, and generalizable model that maintains the performance of the existing ADLFM while enabling fast learning and inference.

Cultural Control through Performances in the Newsroom: A Case Study of Chosun Ilbo (사주의 퍼포먼스와 신문 조직의 문화적 통제: 조선일보 사례를 중심으로)

  • Value collision takes place in the news organization at times. The concept of social responsibility has been serving as the raison d'$\hat{e}$tre not just of individual reporters but eventually of journalism in general. But when the organizational interests are at stake, more realistic values contributing to the organization often override the normative values. This phenomenon occurs since there exists a clear discrepancy between the nominally highlighted values and the virtual values of press owner or news organization. Focusing on Chosun Ilbo, this paper tries to identify the values a news organization really underlines and pursues, and explores the nature of organizational culture embedded in these values. In specific, this study analyzes such performances as ceremonies and rituals, regular or occasional, in Chosun Ilbo, since these are cultural practices which produce and circulate particular meanings and values forming the basis of organizational culture. According to this study, 'strong unity' is the core value which the owner family in Chosun Ilbo has ever been spotlighting. As long as the strong unity is stressed, the role playing as members of news organization for its interest is more highly regarded than carrying out the normative missions given unto the journalists in general.

An Analysis on Writing Background and Contents of Hyesim's 「Gujamubulseonghwa Ganbyeongron(狗子無佛性話揀病論)」 - focusing on Ganhwa Sibjongbyeong(看話十種病) - (혜심(慧諶)의 『구자무불성화간병론(狗子無佛性話揀病論)』 찬술 배경과 내용 분석 - 간화십종병(看話十種病)을 중심으로 -)

  • Hyesim(慧諶) was an important figure that established a firm position of Suseonsa(修禪社), which was Jinul's Gyeolsadojang(結社道場), under the sponsorship of Choi Yi(崔怡)'s military regime. This paper reviews the background of "Ganbyeongron(揀病論)", in which Hyesim's Zen ideology is condensed, and its core content Sibjongbyeong(10 kinds of disease). With this, we can newly recognize following 5 facts: First, Sibjongbyeong occupied the most important position in Hyesim. It can be confirmed by the fact that Sibjongbyeong commonly occurred in the procedure that Hyesim was trusted by Jinul, in the "Ganhwagyeoleuiron(看話決疑論)" a Jinul's posthumous work published by Hyesim, and in "Ganbyeongron". Second, the publication of "Ganbyeongron" was not only for the systematic development of Ganhwa Gyeongjeol(看話 徑截) which Jinul had suggested but also for the consolidation of Hyesim's position in Suseonsa. Third, Hyesim wanted to establish the Ganhwa Gyeongjeol which Jinul had proposed through "Ganbyeongron". Fourth, the result of "Ganbyeongron" was to generalize the enlightenment suggested by Jonggo and Jinul in the practical aspect. Fifth, the generalization of enlightenment was not independent from the demands of the time that Choi Yi's military regime had asked. With this research approach, we can establish a clearer understanding about the "Ganbyeongron", Sibjongbyeong, and the Zen Buddhist aspects of early Suseonsa Era.

Estimation of Asymmetric Bell Shaped Probability Curve using Logistic Regression (로지스틱 회귀모형을 이용한 비대칭 종형 확률곡선의 추정)

  • Logistic regression model is one of the most popular linear models for a binary response variable and used for the estimation of probability function. In many practical situations, the probability function can be expressed by a bell shaped curve and such a function can be estimated by a second order logistic regression model. However, when the probability curve is asymmetric, the estimation results using a second order logistic regression model may not be precise because a second order logistic regression model is a symmetric function. In addition, even if a second order logistic regression model is used, the interpretation for the effect of second order term may not be easy. In this paper, in order to alleviate such problems, an estimation method for asymmetric probabiity curve based on a first order logistic regression model and iterative bi-section method is proposed and its performance is compared with that of a second order logistic regression model by a simulation study.

  • This study has been undertaken to develop a relationship between the shear strength coefficients and the cone index. The theoretic mathematical equations for the relationship were rigorously investigated, and then a Artificial Neural Network(ANN) analysis was adapted to enhance the reliability of the investigation. The theoretical investigation involved various assumptions resulting in the significant error involvement of geotechnical behaviors of ground. Therefore, a model using the ANN has been learned to enhance the prediction of the cone index form the shear strength parameters. Site investigation reports from various construction fields were used for ANN model learning. The results of the study show that the model predicts the cone index from the shear strength parameters of soils very well. The further study that is undertaking has a potential promise of the generalized prediction technique for the cone index from the soil parameters.

A Network Time Server using CPS (GPS를 이용한 네트워크 시각 서버)

  • Precise time synchronization is a main technology in high-speed communications, parallel and distributed processing systems, Internet information industry and electronic commerce. Synchronized clocks are useful for many leasers. Often a distributed system is designed to realize some synchronized behavior, especially in real-time processing in factories, aircraft, space vehicles, and military applications. Nowadays, time synchronization has been compulsory thing as distributed processing and network operations are generalized. A network time server obtains, keeps accurate and precise time by synchronizing its local clock to standard reference time source and distributes time information through standard time synchronization protocol. This paper describes design issues and implementation of a network time server for time synchronization especially based on a clock model. The system uses GPS (Global Positioning System) as a standard reference time source and offers UTC (universal Time coordinated) through NTP (Network Time protocol). Implementation result and performance analysis are also presented.
