An Empirical Study on the Effect of Internal and External Motivation and Psychological Ownership of Organizational Members in a Land Transportation Company on Organizational Effectiveness (육상운송업체 조직 구성원의 내·외재적 동기와 심리적 주인의식이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • This study examined the impact of internal and external motivation (enjoyment, challenge, sense of accomplishment, recognition, reward) and psychological ownership of members of a land transportation company on organizational effectiveness (job satisfaction, organizational commitment), and internal and external motivation and organizational commitment. We aim to analyze the moderating effect of psychological ownership in the relationship between effectiveness. To this end, a survey was conducted targeting employees working at land transportation companies, and the results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, among the intrinsic motivation factors of land transportation companies, challenge and sense of accomplishment had a significant impact on job satisfaction of organizational effectiveness, and enjoyment was confirmed to have an impact at a significant level. And only the sense of accomplishment had a significant effect on organizational commitment, while enjoyment and challenge had no effect. Second, recognition, an extrinsic motivator, had a significant effect on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment of organizational effectiveness, and compensation had an effect on job satisfaction but had no effect on organizational commitment. Third, psychological ownership had a significant effect on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Fourth, psychological ownership was found to have no moderating effect in the relationship between intrinsic motivation and organizational effectiveness, enjoyment in the relationship between challenge, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, and to have a moderating effect in the relationship with a sense of accomplishment. Fifth, psychological ownership had a moderating effect in the relationship between extrinsic motivation and organizational effectiveness, recognition, compensation, and job satisfaction, but was found to have no moderating effect in the relationship with organizational commitment. Therefore, there is a need to improve management performance by inducing organizational commitment through job satisfaction and subsequently leading to psychological ownership.

Compensation for the Distorted Signals in WDM System with Non Zero-Dispersion Shifted Fiber Using Optical Phase Conjugator (비영 분산 천이 광섬유를 갖는 WDM 시스템에서 광 위상 공액기에 의한 왜곡된 광 신호의 보상)

  • In this paper, the numerical methods of finding the optimal position of optical phase conjugator(OPC) and the optimal fiber dispersions are proposed, which are able to effectively compensate overall channels in $8{\times}40$ Gbps WDM system with non zero-dispersion shifted fiber(NZ-DSF) as an optical fiber. And the compensation characteristics in the system with two induced optimal parameters are compared with those in the system with mid-span spectral inversion (MSSI) technique in order to confirm the availability of the proposed methods. It is confirmed that the optimal parameter values induced in this approach are very useful to effectively compensate overall channels in WDM system with OPC. And, it is confirmed that two optimal parameters depend on each other, but less related with the searching procedure. The methods proposed in this research will be expected to alternate with the method of making a symmetrical distribution of power and local dispersion in real optical link which is a serious problem of applying the OPC into multi-channels WDM system.

The Effects of Employee's Perception of HR Practices on Organization Commitment and Turnover Intention: The Mediated Effect of Career Plateau (인사제도에 대한 구성원 인식이 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 경력정체성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study was to draw some managerial implications by examining the role of content career plateau, an individual's perception that one's own career is stagnated, in the relationship between the members' perception on HR practices and organizational commitment/turnover intention. The result showed that the perception on education/training practices has positive influence on organizational commitment, and a negative effect on turnover intention and career plateau. However, the perception on evaluation/compensation was shown to have no direct impact either on organizational commitment or on turnover intention. In addition, career plateau served as a partial mediator only between the perception on education/training practices and the attitudinal variables. Based on the results, some managerial/practical implications and suggestions for future research on career plateau are discussed.

  • We developed a software for simulations and analyses of the Image Navigation and Registration (INR) system, and compares the characteristics of Image Motion Compensation (IMC) algorithms for the INR system. According to the orbit errors and attitude errors, the capabilities of the image distortions are analyzed. The distortions of images can be compensated by GOES IMC algorithm and Modified IMC (MIMC) algorithm. The capabilities of each IMC algorithm are confirmed based on compensated images. The MIMC yields better results than GOES IMC although both the algorithms well compensate distorted images. The results of this research can be used as valuable asset to design of INR system for the Communication, Ocean, Meteorological Satellite (COMS).

  • This paper proposed the voltage compensation analysis method in distribution system by EMTP. SVC (Static Var Compensator) of the thyristor controlled reactor type is used for compensation system. EMTP(E1ectr-o Magnetic Transient Program) model of SVC is proposed to analysis the voltage improvement characteristics at the high voltage system bus. It is composed with three parts ; rms detector, voltage regulator and gate pulse generator. The control signal of TCR is determined by rms value which was measured in system. As the result of EMTP simulation, all of the SVC characteristics like TCR current, firing pulse and bus voltage is very reliable. This method could be used to analysis the planning and the operation of compensation system in the large scale factory.

  • This paper proposes a compensation method that can alleviate the problem of I/Q mismatch generated in the direct-conversion receiver of OFDM systems. In the proposed method, the amount of I/Q mismatch is estimated using null-carriers in transmitted signals, and it is subtracted from received symbols to suppress I/Q mismatch effects. Simulations show experiments that the proposed method can effectively eliminate the I/Q mismatch effects.

  • Although variable surgical methods of sympathetic nerve for palmar hyperhidrosis are curative and safe therapeutic options, they have some limitations such as compensatory sweating and anhidrosis of hand in long term satisfaction rate. Material and Method: Therefore, we tried to decrease severity of compensatory sweating and prevent excessive dryness of hand through selective division of rami communicantes of thoracic sympathetic ganglia distributed to the hands(ramicotomy). Result: In postoperative results, about half of the patients maintained humidity of hands and most of them showed no more than mild degree of compensatory sweating. Conclusion: Therefore, ramicotomy of thoracic sympathetic ganglia can be recommended as selective and physiologic surgical method for palmar hyperhidrosis.

제주도 지하수특별관리구역의 지하수이용허가권 조정방안에 관한 연구

  • 지하수의 공공성, 민간부문의 지하수 개발의 추이와 지하수관리특별구역의 현황에 대하여 살펴보았다. 공공재의 특성과 사적비용과 사회적비용을 일치시키기 위해 피구세를 검토하였으며, 온실가스 배출권거래제의 이론적 근거를 살펴보았다. 지하수이용을 감소시키기 위한 방안을 살펴보고 감축방안을 세가지로 나누어 검토하였다. 전형적인 온실가스배출권 거래제와 같은 방법은 거래비용으로 인하여 적절하지 않을 것으로 보이나, 피구세로 보완하면 적용 가능할 것으로 보인다. 한정된 자원인 지하수를 적절히 이용하고 보전하는 방법은 사회적으로 합의되고 적절한 방법으로 이루어져야 한다. 지하수이용허가권을 조정하는 방법으로 지하수이용허가권을 일정비율로 감축하고 계속 사용하고자 하는 사용자에게는 부담금을 부과하며, 허가권을 반납하는 사용자에게 보상을 하는 방법이 적절할 것으로 보인다. 이 방법은 영세한 지하수이용자가 지하수허가량을 줄이면 부담금을 부과하지 않고, 폐공하는 경우에는 보상하도록 한다. 대규모 지하수 사용자가 지하수를 더 이용하기 위해서는 경제적 부담을 감수하면 가능하다. 과다한 소규모 관정을 폐공시키고 일정 규모이상의 지하수 관정을 이용하게 하는 효과도 있으리라 보인다.

  • 본 논문에서는 잡음에 오염된 신호의 지각관계를 해석하여 지각 필터 응답 제어를 통한 음성 신호 개선 알고리즘을 제안한다. 음성 신호 개선 기법은 단일 채널환경에서 사람의 청각시스템에서의 주파수 변별력을 나타내는 각각의 임계대역에 대한 전체 에너지를 나타내는 임계대역 에너지의 지각적인 확산의 영향 즉, 마스킹 확산의 영향을 나타내는 자극에너지를 이용하여 신호와 잡음 에너지에 의해 변화하는 잡음에 의한 신호의 마스킹 구간을 검출하여 묵음 구간 추출 잡음 필터응답과 추정 잡음 오차를 보상시킨 필터응답을 통한 지각 필터 응답을 보상하여 신호를 개선하는 방법이다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법을 통해 SNR에 개선과 음질 개선 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 테스트를 통해 확인하였다.

  • 이동통신망에서 RF 신호를 송수신하는 기지국(base station)과 이동 통신 신호의 교환 전송을 담당하는 중앙국(central station)을 광섬유로 연결하여 구성하는 SCM (Subcarrier Multiplexing) 전송 시스템은 미래의 음성, 영상, 데이터 서비스 등의 이동통신 시스템에 적용할 수 있기 때문에 최근 관심사가 커지고 있다. 이동통신망을 위한 SCM 광전송 시스템의 유용성에도 불구하고, CDMA RF 신호를 전송하는 과정에서 많은 물리적인 제약이 있다. 특히, 많은 가입자의 CDMA RF 신호가 하나의 레이저 다이오드(LD: Laser Diode)를 구동시킬 때, RF 신호의 합이 레이저 다이오드의 선형영역을 벗어나면 클리핑(clipping)이나 비선형 왜곡이 발생하여 시스템의 성능을 저하시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 CDMA RF 신호의 SCM 광전송 성능분석을 통해 레이저 다이오드에 의해 발생하는 비선형 왜곡의 영향을 분석하고, 분석 결과로부터 레이저 다이오드에 의한 비선형 효과를 최소화 할 수 있는 비선형 왜곡 보상구조를 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 레이저 다이오드 비선형 보상기의 성능을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 얻어진 BER로부터 측정하였다.
