A Study on Tracking Position Control of Pneumatic Actuators Using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 공압구동기의 위치 추종제어에 관한 연구)

  • Pneumatic actuators are widely used in a variety of hazardous working environments. Any process that involves pneumatic actuation is also recognized as "eco-friendly". In most cases, applications of pneumatic actuators require only point-to-point control. In recent years, research efforts have been directed toward achieving precise position tracking control. In this study, a tracking position control method is proposed and experimentally evaluated for a linear positioning system. The positioning system is composed of a pneumatic actuator and a 3-port proportional valve. The proposed controller has an inner pressure control loop and an outer position control loop. A PID controller with feedback linearization is used in the pressure control loop to nullify the nonlinearity arising from the compressibility of the air. The position controller is also a PID controller augmented with the friction compensation by a neural network. Experimental results indicate that the proposed controller significantly improves the tracking performance.rformance.

The Subjective Study of the High School Teachers on the Performance-based Pay System for Teachers (교원성과급제도에 대한 고등학교 교사의 주관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore high school teachers' subjective perception on performance-based pay system(PBPS) for teachers using Q-methodology. This study found three types of high school teachers' subjective perception on the system. Type I is named 'the type of negative perception.' The subjects of type I emphasize the PBPS is not appropriate system for motivating teachers' educational behaviors. Type II is named 'the type of neutral perception.' The subjects of type II emphasize the PBPS is a fair job evaluation, strengthening cooperative atmosphere of educational community but the system is not an usefulness for causing educational behavior etc. Type III is named 'the type of acceptive perception.' The subjects of type III emphasize the PBPS is a good policy to reward for the work most people avoid getting into and improve culture of teaching job etc.

  • Terahertz (THz) wave는 광학 영역과 방송파 영역 사이에 광대역 주파수 스펙트럼을 차지하고 있다. X선과는 달리 비이온화 광원으로 직진성, 투과성, 낮은 에너지 (meV)를 가지고 있어 비파괴적이고 무해한 장점을 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 In0.53Ga0.47As:Be/In0.52Al0.48As의 multi quantum well (MQW)을 Semi-insulting InP:Fe substrate 위에 active layer의 두께와 적층을 변화주어서 성장하였고Au (200 nm)/Ti (30 nm)의 금속전극으로 공정을 하였다. Ti:Sapphire femtosecond pulse laser를 조사하여 THz time-domain spectrometer 시스템을 이용하여 광전도검출법으로 THz 검출 특성을 연구하였다. THz 검출은 짧은 전하수명과 높은 저항을 요구한다. LTInGaAs의 경우 AsGa antisite로 인하여 짧은 전하수명을 얻게 되면 n-type의 높은 전하밀도를 가지게 되어서 저항이 낮아지게 된다. 높은 저항을 만들기 위하여 Be doping을 이용하여 과잉의 전자들을 보상하고 InAlAs layer를 삽입시켜 보다 높은 저항을 얻었다. LT-InGaAs:Be는 LT-GaAs보다 1/70 정도의 amplitude를 보이는데 LT-InGaAs/InAlAs MQW의 경우 LT-GaAs 대비 약 3/4 정도의 큰 amplitude를 얻었다. 또 active layer의 두께가 얇고 적층이 많을수록 신호가 커지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 상대적으로 band gap이 큰 InAlAs층이 더 높은 저항을 만든 것으로 사료된다.

A High Speed CMOS Arrayed Optical Transmitter for WPON Applications (WPON 응용을 위한 고속 CMOS어레이 광트랜스미터)

  • In this paper, the design and layout of a 2.5 Gbps arrayed VCSEL driver for optical transceiver having arrayed multi-channel of integrating module is confirmed. In this paper, a 4 channel 2.5 Gbps VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser) driver array with automatic optical power control is implemented using $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process technology that drives a $1550{\mu}m$ high speed VCSEL used in optical transceiver. To enhance the bandwidth of the optical transmitter, active feedback amplifier with negative capacitance compensation is exploited. We report a distinct improvement in bandwidth, voltage gain and operation stability at 2.5Gbps data rate in comparison with existing topology. The 4-CH chip consumes only 140 mW of DC power at a single 1.8V supply under the maximum modulation and bias currents, and occupies the die area of $850{\mu}m{\times}1,690{\mu}m$ excluding bonding pads.

  • This study confirmed by a meta-analysis of the effect of suppressing the size of the turnover variable based on the thesis concerning "turnover intention" of the past 15 years, and the trend over the year, according to published meta-regression analysis was verified. The overall effect size for the study was found to inhibit factors medium effect size. Effect size is a private property factor by lower variable salary levels, age and marital status, working period, turnover experience, educational level, showed a work order forms, job characteristics factor is job satisfaction, working conditions, job importance, firm relationships with colleagues, showed a net job autonomy. In addition, organizational characteristic factor effect sizes organizational commitment, organizational commitment, advancement opportunities, compensation satisfaction, organizational justice, participatory doctor had determined the net. Changes in accordance with the published year is closer to 2015 it showed that the effect of inhibiting factors reduced size.

PL 사례에 대응한 제품안전성 제고방안

  • 금년 7월 1일부터 개정 시행되는 품질경영촉진 및 공산품안전관리범파, 2002 년 7 월 1 일부터 시행되는 제조물책임(Product Liability; PL)법으로 인하여 제품의 안전성을 제고하기 위한 노력이 정부와 기업. 학계에서 다각도로 진행중이다. 그러나, 그 추진방향들이 아직 제각각이어서 하나의 조직적인 체계를 갖추진 못하고 있다. 그 이유는 제조물책임에 대응하기 위한 제품안전성 향상이 어느 한 분야의 활동으로는 충족시킬 수 없기 때문이지만, 기본적으로는 제품안전이 담당하여야 하는 책임의 범위가 어디까지인지 기업을 비롯한 관계자들이 명확히 이해하고 있지 못하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 이와 관련하여, 기존에 이미 시행착오를 겪은 선진국들의 소송사례를 중심으로 제품결함 중 어느 부분에 문제가 제기되는가를 살펴보고, 그 대응책을 제시하고자 하였다. 먼저 제조물책임법의 제정 취지와 법에서 정하고 있는 책임범위가 어디까지인지를 살펴보고, 선진국의 소송사례를 중심으로 그 적용범위를 확인하였다 또한 제조물책임에 대응하기 위한 방법이 어떻게 진행되는지를 살펴보고, 그 중 제품 안전성 (Product Safety) 을 향상시키기 위하여 신뢰성이나 품질측면에서 경영상의 어떤 노력이 경주되어야 하는가를 검토하였다. 한편, 리스크 관리상의 리스크 분석과 위험성 분석과의 관계, 위험성 분석의 기법들, 위험성 분석기법의 선정요령, 제품의 안전성을 평가하기 위하여 기존의 위험성 분석기법을 어떻게 활용할 것인가, 적용상의 문제점은 없는가 검토하였다. 마지막으로, 현재 기업들이 가장 소홀하게 대응하고 있는 표시상의 결함에 대하여 소송 및 보상사례를 살펴보고, 그에 대한 대책으로서 픽토그램, 라벨, 경고문구, 그리고 사용설명서의 작성 및 표시 방안에 대하여 대응방안을 고찰하였다. 용융이 발생될 수 있다. 따라서, 이러한 현상을 방지하기 위해서는 진공 분위기 하에서 적절한 접합 틈새를 유지할 수 있는 공정 및 장비의 개발이 필요하다.(Icing화) 문제가 발생하기 때문에 배기가스의 Icing을 방지하기 위하여 압축기 끝단에서 공기를 추출하여 배기부분에 송출할 필요성이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 출구가스의 기체 유동속도가 매우 빠르므로 (100-l10m.sec) 이를 완화하기 위한 디퓨저의 설계가 요구된다고 판단된다. 또 연소기 후방에 물을 주입하는 경우 열교환기 및 기타 부분품에 발생할 수 있는 부식 및 열교환 효율 저하도 간과할 수 없는 문제로 파악되었다. 이러한 기술적 문제가 적절히 해결되는 경우 비활성 가스 제너레이터는 민수용으로는 대형 빌딩, 산림, 유조선 등의 화재에 매우 적절히 사용되어 질 수 있을 뿐 아니라 군사적으로도 군사작전 중 및 공군 기지의 화재 그리고 지하벙커에 설치되어 있는 고급 첨단 군사 장비 등의 화재 뿐 아니라 대간첩작전 등에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.가 작으며, 본 연소관에 충전된 RDX/AP계 추진제의 경우 추진제의 습기투과에 의한 추진제 물성 변화는 미미한 것으로 나타났다.의 향상으로, 음성개선에 효과적이라고 사료되었으며, 이 방법이 편측 성대마비 환자의 효과적인 음성개선의 치료방법의 하나로 응용될 수 있으리라 생각된다..7%), 혈액투석, 식도부분절제술 및 위루술·위회장문합술을 시행한 경우가 각 1례(2.9%)씩이었다. 13) 심각한 합병증은 9례(26.5%)에서 보였는데 그중 식도협착증이 6례(17.6%), 급성신부전증 1례(2.9%), 종격동기흉과 폐염이 병발한 경우와 폐염이 각 1례(2.9%)였다. 14) 식도경 시행회수는 1회가 17례(54.8%), 2회가 9례(29.0%), 3회 이상이

A Study on the Safety Improvement in Incineration System from the Case Study of Acrylic acid manufacturing process Accident (아크릴산 제조공정 사고사례를 통한 소각 시스템의 안전성 향상 방안)

  • Recently, waste gas incineration is increasing due to strong environmental regulatory system in Korea. These incinerating facilities are usually connected with the top of the storage tank through pipeline and incinerate off gas with the flame. Therefore, the flame originated from these facilities is likely to move back into pipeline and might cause an explosion of the storage tank. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to suggest the preventive measures and the way to improve the safety of these incineration systems through the cause analysis of a major industrial accident occurred in a acrylic acid manufacturing process in Korea. As a result of the study, the preventive measures are suggested as follows. (1) Air or inert gas inflow facilities should be well designed to dilute flammable gases into air or inert gas sufficiently before the blower is restarted in order to prevent the explosion (2) It is needed for the detonation-type flame arresters to be installed on the top of the storage tanks. (3) In case of using the deflagration-type flame arresters, it is necessary to install a rupture disk before the arresters, or blow off the flame outside tanks by connecting the tank top and the incinerator with hood-type pipe. (4) TDR should be installed to be restarted automatically after the momentary power failure.

A Study on the Effect of Airline Staff's Safety Culture to Service Quality and Service Provider Efficacy focusing on the Airline Staff working at Incheon International Airport (항공사 종사자의 안전문화 인식이 서비스 품질과 서비스 효능감에 미치는 영향 연구 : 인천국제공항지점 근무자를 중심으로)

  • This paper has made an empirical research on airline staff working at Incheon international airport, who perceived safety culture in their organization and delivered safety information while the staff were providing service against passengers. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the relationship among safety culture, service quality and service provider efficacy to find out which factor of safety culture had a significant effect on both service quality and service provider efficacy. Following the results from empirical research, this paper would provide administrative implications which could be applied to improve airline's service quality and to manage effectively the airline staff at field. According to research, it was found fairness culture among safety cultures had a positive and significant effect on both service quality and service provider efficacy. However, reporting/studying culture had a negative effect on them. In other words, it would decrease airline service quality and prevent active service provider's efficacy at airport if a airline management focused reporting/studying culture of safety. It is important to settle down fairness culture of safety to motivate and improve service quality.

A Comparative Review on Civil Money Penalties in Aviation Law (항공 과징금 제도의 비교법적 검토)

  • In 1984, Congress enacted a new measure of administrative sanctions which is a civil money penalty program for violations of Aviation Act and its implementing regulations. This civil money penalty system has been in operations in lieu of suspending or revoking certificates issued by Korean government, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. According to the rules of Aviation Business Act or Aviation Safety Act, where the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport should order an air carrier to suspend operation because of her violation under certain rules, in which case the suspension of operation is likely to cause serious inconvenience to consumers of air transport services or to harm public interest, the Minister of the department may impose an administrative monetary penalty in lieu of the suspension of operation. In this regard, airline related civil money penalties are somewhat different from those of fair trade, which is the origin of the money penalties system in Korea. Civil money penalties in the field of fair trade are imposed on executive duty violations that undermine the value of the market economy order, and focus on reimbursement of profits due to violations and compensation for unfair spending by consumers. However, in the aviation sector, breach of duty by a business operator does not simply cause the property loss of the public, but it has a direct impact on life or property of the public. In this respect, aviation penalties are more likely to be administrative sanctions or punitive measures than refunds of unfair benefits, compared to penalties in the field of fair trade. In general, civil money penalties have been highly preferred as administrative sanctions because they are subject to investigations by administrative experts and thus, efficiency can be ensured and execution is quicker than judicial procedures. Moreover, in Korea, because punitive civil damages cannot awarded by the courts, the imposition of civil money penalties is recognized as a means of realizing social justice by recognizing the legal feelings of the people. However, civil money penalties are administrative sanctions, and in terms of effectiveness, they are similar to criminal fines, which are a form of punishment. Inadequate legislation and operation of penalties imposition may cause damage to the value of Constitution. Under the above recognition, this paper has been described for the purpose of identifying the present status of the civil money penalties imposition system and operating status in the area of air transport under the laws and regulations in Korea. Especially, this paper was focused on exploring the problem and improvement direction of Korean system through the comparative study with foreign laws and regulations.

A 100MHz DC-DC Converter Using Integrated Inductor and Capacitor as a Power Module for SoC Power Management (SoC 전원 관리를 위한 인덕터와 커패시터 내장형 100MHz DC-DC 부스트 변환기)

  • This paper presents a design of a high performance DC-DC boost converter as a power module for SOC designs. It applied to this chip that reduced inductor and capacitor for integrating on a chip, and it operates with a switching frequency of 100MHz. It has reliability and stability in high switching frequency. The controller of DC-DC boost converter is designed by voltage-mode control method and compensated properly. The designed DC-DC converter is fabricated with the 0.18${\mu}m$ standard CMOS technology with a thick-gate oxide option. The overall die size is 8.14$mm^2$, and controller size is 1.15$mm^2$. The converter has the maximum efficiency over 76% for the output voltage of 4V and load current larger 300mA. The load regulation is 0.012% (0.5mV) for the load current change of 100mA.
