A Study on the Post-Occupancy Evaluation of a Newly-built General Hospital (신설병원의 거주후 평가에 관한 연구)

  • One-year post-occupancy evaluation was performed for a newly built hospital. Total of 133 in-patients were asked to evaluate their satisfaction on a scale of 1-5, and the lowest score was reported on the categories of the following : rest area insufficiency (2.939), inconvenient in-house shop (3.052), and too small patient room (3.065). We suggest several modifications of hospital structure to improve patient satisfaction.

A Study on the Transportation of Comtaminated Materials and their Vertical Transportation System between Ward and other Departments in Hospitals (병원 병동의 오염물 운반과 수직운송설비에 관한 연구)

  • Several kinds of medical materials are supplied and returned or disposed everyday in hospitals. And so, the transportation system has to be planned according to their circulation. This study aimed at clarifying the relation between the stock area in ward and the departments in which the contaminated materials are disposed or recleaned and the utilization of vertical transportation system with regard to contaminated materials. The results are as follows : 1)The stock area/rooms for contaminated materials are dipersed according to their kinds. Several department have relation with the area/rooms in ward. 2)The vertical transportation system for contaminated materials are not reserved and utilized independently in hospitals surveyed. And so, cross contamination can easily occur. Therefore, independent transportation system is required and utilized only for them.

  • Recently, Influenza(AI, PI) patients have been increasing rapidly. But, there is a lack of isolation hospitals. In particular, according to increase the rate of patients with airborne infection, in order to prevent the spread of pathogens, design of layout plan and air conditioning system of isolation hospitals becomes more important to maintain patient's room as negative pressure. In this study, the spread of pathogens are analyzed as room differential pressure, moving time of medical staff and patients, and moving way in isolation hospitals by multizone simulation; CONTAM 2.4. Through the analysis, the ways to improve isolation hospital considered at the design step are reached to prevent the spread of pathogens effectively. Also, it verifies that HVAC system for isolation hospital is suitably designed as standard.

  • This study is to assess the safety of the process facilities and fire fighting facilities for LNG storage tank which is the main facility in the LNG receiving terminal. The LNG storage tank(capacity : 140,000kl, type : aboveground, inner tank $9\%$ Ni steel plate, outer tank : prestressed concrete) was designed by foreign country up to now, but it has designed by domestic technology as the fifth in the world is under construction now.

  • This paper presents a basic energy performance data of microturbine, renewable Energy(BIPV and Solar Collector System) and a hybrid energy system(geothermal system and microturbine) installed in hospital building. The efficiency of solar collector and BIPV system was 30[%], 10[%] individually, and lower than micro turbines. Finally, in energy performance aspect, microturbine and geothermal source heat pump system were a high-efficiency system in hospital building. It is confirmed hybrid energy systems also show the most powerful alternative energy system for green hospital building from the simulation results.

  • CIGS 태양전지는 박막 태양전지 중 가장 높은 potential을 지닌 태양전지로 각광받고 있으나, 상업적 이행이 타 박막 태양전지에 비해 더디게 진행되고 있다. 그 이유는 기존의 잘 알려진 방식이 고효율에는 유리하나, 양산용 설비의 개발 미비 등 양산관점에서 매우 불리하기 때문이다. 또한, CIGS 태양전지를 상업화하기 위해 많은 기업과 연구 집단에서 개발을 진행하고 있으나, 대부분 각 기업의 노하우적 성격이 강하여, 기술이 보편화되지 못한 것도 주요한 원인이다. CIGS 태양전지의 다양한 제조기술 중 현재까지 가장 양산화에 유리한 기술은 Sputter/Se화 기술이다. 이는 기존 FPD/semi conductor 산업에서 발전된 sputter 및 열처리 기술을 활용할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나, CIGS 태양전지는 기본적으로 4원~5원 화합물 태양전지이므로, 기존의 장비 및 기술을 그대로 적용하는 것에는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 paper에서는 CIGS 태양전지의 일반적인 제조기술과 sputter/Se화 기술에 대해서 논의하고자 한다.
