In order to elucidate the effect of abscisic acid (ABA) on the abnormality of somatic embryos, somatic embryos were induced from embryogenic cell clumps derived from cotyledon segment of Aralia cordata. When embryogenic cell clumps were pretreated medium containing 0.2 mg/L ABA for 3 weeks before transferring to MS basal medium, the frequency of embryos with normal cotyledons enhanced 68% as compared with control. However when clumps pretreated in medium containing 0.2 mg/L ABA were transferred to medium containing 0.1 mg/L ABA, the Sequency decreased to about 29%. In the case of globular embryos cultures in medium containing various concentrations of ABA (0.01 to 1.0mg/L), the frequency of dicotyledonary embryo formation decreased propotionally to ABA concentration. Also, when somatic embryos at various stages were cultured in medium containing ABA, those with polycotyledons appeared at higher frequency.

Formative evaluation is an evaluation activity performed in the process of teaching and learning. The general purpose of formative evaluation is to provide the feedback and correct identified problems in the process of teaching and learning. In this paper, we propose a system which provides each student with individualized feedback in formative evaluation. The evaluation questionnaire in the system are produced on the basis of the section criteria such as knowledge, comprehension, and application. The evaluation result is categorized and evaluated according to the given criteria. Then different feedback is provided for each student advising where he or she should make up for weak areas. Moreover our system offers instructors the itemized correct answer ratio data as well as sets of individualized feedback delivered to students. It gives an additional benefit to ensure the improvement of teaching methods.

$CuInSe_2$계 태양전지는 동시 증발공정으로 최고 효율 약 20%를 얻었으나, 동시 증발법은 대면적화 및 조성 균일도 조절에 어려움이 있다. 이에 반해 스퍼터링 및 셀렌화 공정은 동시 증발법에 비해 대면적의 조성 조절 및 생산속도가 뻐른 장점이 있다. 이에 따라 스퍼터링 및 셀렌화 공정을 통해 CIS 태양전지를 양산화 하려는 시도가 전세계적으로 활발히 진행중이다. 그러나 연구소 및 학교를 중심으로 연구가 진행되어 박막 증착 공정 및 단계별 박막 특성이 많은 부분 밝혀진 동시 증발공정에 비해, 몇몇 기업을 중심으로 연구가 진행되고 있는 스퍼터링/셀렌화 공정의 경우 공정 조건 및 이에 따른 박막 특성/형성기구에 대한 정보가 거의 없는 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CuIn 및 Cu 타겟을 동시 스퍼터링하여 전구체를 만든후 이를 셀렌화하여 CIS 박막을 성장시키고, 특히 열처리 단계별 상분석을 통해 CIS 형성기구를 고찰하고자 하였다.

The opal phytolith types in Oryza sativa L. were examined with light and scanning electron microscope, and we suggested the standard tenninoligies based on original cells of the phytoliths in situ. The distinctive fonus of opal phytoliths were observed in all plant parts such as leaf blade, leaf sheath, culm, root, glume, lemma, and palea. The phytolith fonus originated from long cell, short cell, and dennal appendages were different from part to part. The opal phytoliths derived from the long cells showed the most various form: twelve types were identified based on side wall shape. The results showed that the leaf blade did include almost all types of opal phytolith observed in the other parts of rice.f rice.

Sub-arrays of arbitrary conformal array have different geometric shape through steering direction, thus the beam patterns of sub-arrays are always non-uniform. In this paper, we apply the beam pattern synthesis method using convex optimization into the conformal array, and shows the improvement of uniformity of beam performance. The simulation is performed with the conformal array of cut-sphere shape. As a result, the standard deviation of 3 dB beamwidth in elevation is greatly reduced but the directivity index is also reduced. To alleviate this trade-off, we propose a convex optimization using a shading function.

본 연구에서는 베이지안 망 구조 학습에서, 학습 데이터의 특정 부분집합이 학습된 망의 각연결 구조(edge)의 형성에 기여하는 정도를 정량화하는 방법을 제안한다. 생물학 정보의 분석 등에 베이지안 망 학습을 이용하는 경우, 제안된 방법은 망의 각 연결 구조의 형성에 특정 군집 데이터가 기여하는 정도의 정량화가 가능하다. 제안된 방법의 유효성을 보이기 위해, 벤치마크 베이지안 망을 이용하여 제안된 방법이 망 연결 구조에 대한 데이터 군집별 기여도를 효과적으로 정량화 할 수 있음을 보인다.

저수준레이저조사 (low level lser irradiation, LLLI) 가 골형성을 자극한다고 보고되고 있지만 골아세포기능에 있어서 어떠한 역할을 하는지 별로 밝혀진 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 백서 두 개관 조골세포양 세포(ROB)와 백서 조골세포주(ROS17/2.8)에 대한 저수준레이저의 효과를 조사하기 위하여 세포증식, alkaline phosphatase activity, 석회화 결질형성등을 관찰하였다. 두가지 배양 세포군에 저수준레이저를 조사한 결과 저수준레이저가 alkaline phosphatase activity를 증가시킬 뿐만 아니라 석회화 결절의 형성을 촉진하는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 보아 저수준레이저는 조골세포의 기능과 무기질침착을 자극함으로써 골형성을 촉진한다고 추정된다.
