Design of a Boradband Power Divider by Distributed Network Synthesis (분포정수 회로합성에 의한 광대역 전력분배기 설계)

  • In this paper, the synthesis of distributed impedance transformers is presented that is essential for power divider design, whereby a broadband power divider is designed. Transfer functions of distributed transformers are synthesized with Chebyshev approximation, and their element values are calculated for various minimum insertion losses(MIL) and ripples. Desired performance of transformers is obtained by optimizing MIL's and ripples of a transfer function. As an application example, a four-way power divider is designed that operates over 2 to 8GHz frequency range. Experimental results are shown to approach the design performance, so transformer design by distributed network synthesis proves to be useful to power divider design.

Blind Watermarking Algorithm Using Wavelet Transform (웨이브릿 변환을 이용한 브라인드 워터마킹 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we proposed an efficient blind watermarking algorithm using wavelet transform. The proposed algorithm inserts watermark into the high frequency subbands that were transformed by 1-level wavelet transform of original image. Watermark insertion is achieved by exchanging each the corresponding coefficients in the HL, LH, HH subbands according to be inserted watermark value. And watermark is extracted by the relation of wavelet coefficients without original image. Experimental results demonstrate that watermarked image has a good quality not to be able to be perceptible and is robust various attacks such as JEPG lossy compression, clipping and sharpening.

Medical Image Compression in the Wavelet Transform Domain (Wavelet 변환 영역에서 의료영상압축)

  • This paper suggest the image compression that is needed to process PACS in medical information system. The image decoding method is used Linear-predictor and Lloyd-Max quantizer(quantization) in the Wavelet transform domain. Wavelet Transform Method is processed the multi-resolution by dividing image into 10 sub-bands of 3 levels. Low frequency domain that is sensitive to human visual characteristic is encoded by DPCM which is lossless encoding methods, and Lloyed-Max quantizer, the optimal quantizer for reducing ringing and aliasing in the image of inter sub-band, is used in the remaining high frequency domain of sub-band. The examination verifies that decompressed images are superior by the result that PSNR is 28.53dB on the input image, 512$\times$152 abdominal CT image and Chest image.

Design of Digital Transmultiplexing System for PRS Transmission (PRS 전송 방식을 위한 디지털 변환다중장치의 설계)

  • In this paper, a PRS transmission system using TMRCP as the unit pulse is proposed, which solves the problems occur when the PRS method will be applied to the digital transmultiplexer for each channel. And a design technique which uses this PRS method for the FFT polyphase filter transmultiplexer concept is given. TMRCP-PRS signal require a bandwidth about 2.5KHz(including some guard-band) for a 4-KHz bandlimited voice channel. Therefore, in he 24 channel transmission line, it gives the same advantages as he ordinary PRS system and sloves the inter-channel interference problems. And its good speed-tolerance reduces the time-errors by the environments and the power loss, so it makes the system to be stable. The total system, however, attaces the filters for PCM-PRS, PRS-PCM conversion before and after the transmultiplexer respectively.

  • This thesis is realization of embedded system that of MPEG-2 down conversion using IDCT. A method for down conversion of MPEG compressed video is to perform low-pass filtering and sub-sampling after full decompression. However, this method is need large memory and high computational complexity. Recent research has been focussed on the down conversion in the DCT domain. But DCT method is reduced image qualify. The embedded system is require low complexity, and high speed algorithm. When applied to embedded system that down conversion method, DCT method is played average 29 frame per second, and better 25% than spatial-domain down conversion.

  • 본 논문에서는 평균 밝기 부분에 가중치 맵으로써 감마 변환에 기반한 선형 결합을 제안하고자 한다. 기존의 패치를 기반으로 한 가중치 맵은 평균 밝기 부분에서 영상 내 밝기 값이 한쪽으로 치우쳐 영상의 밝은 부분이 과포화 상태가 되어 세부 정보가 손실되는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 전역적 및 지역적 영상의 평균 밝기 값을 이용하여 감마 변환된 값을 선형 결합 시켜줌으로써 영역 내 세부 정보를 보존시키고 주관적 화질을 향상시켰다. 실험을 통해 결과를 분석하고 성능을 비교하여 기존 알고리듬에 비해 제안한 알고리듬이 우수함을 증명하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 구조의 능동 클램프 ac-dc 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터는 강압형 ac 쵸퍼와 voltage doubler로 구성되며, 직접전력변환을 함으로써 간단한 구조와 고효율을 가진다. 강압형 ac 쵸퍼는 ac-ac 전력변환과 능동 클램프역할을 하며, 스위치의 전압 스트레스와 스위칭 손실을 최소화 한다. 또한, voltage doubler의 공진 커패시터와 변압기의 누설 인덕턴스는 공진회로를 형성하여 출력 다이오드의 역회복 문제를 해결한다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 이론적 해석을 실험을 통해 검증한다.

  • PWM 입력 전압원 반브리지 직류-직류 변환기의 예로 통상적인 스위칭 방법으로 동작시킬 때, 직류 전압원의 단락을 방지하기 위하여 변환기 신호에 데드타임을 삽입한다. 이러한 데드타임은 변환기 시스템의 제어 성능에 좋지 않은 영향을 발생시킨다. 따라서 이 데드타임을 효과적으로 보상하는 것이 필요하다. 또 이 데드타임의 영향을 방지 할 수 있는 최선의 방법으로써 데드타임 최소화 스위칭 방법을 고려할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 데드타임 최소화 스위칭 방법의 하나인 아날로그 방법이 아닌 디지털 방법으로 스위칭 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 스위칭 방법은 SOC를 기반으로 한 Verilog-HDL 언어를 이용하여 PWM전용 컨트롤러를 설계하고, 기존에 문제점으로 PWM 스위칭 발생시 과도기간 동안 턴오프 손실이 발생되어 저하된 효율를 제안된 방법으로 방지하였다.
