A Study of Seismic Resistant Design for Base-Isolated Bridges(I) (지진에 대비한 기초분리 교량의 설계법에 관한 연구(I))

  • The base isolation technique and its benefits in reducing the transmitted earthquake energy into a structure have gained increasing recognition during the last two decades. Unfortunately, the current available design procedures, especially for base-isolated bridges, seem inadequate and too restrictive. As a result, practical design procedure still relies upon a series of deterministic time history analyses. In this study, the evaluation of the possibility of the normal mode method to predict the nonlinear seismic responses of base isolated bridges has been performed. The applicability has been examined through the numerical approach with isolator's elastic or plastic states of the base isolated bridges. Numerical results show that the 1st. mode period and the various responses are varied with the state but are conversed. And, the result show that the normal mode method is applicable to predict the seismic responses and to design the babe isolated bridge. Various analysis method to bridges with bilinearized hysteresis isolator and various pier heights are evalulated.

Impact Response Behaviors of Laminated Composite Plates Subjected to the Transversely Impact of a Steel Ball (강구에 의한 횡방향 충격을 받는 적층복합판의 충격 응답 거동)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact response behaviors of glass/epoxy laminated composite plates subjected to the transversely impact of a steel ball. For this purpose, dynamic finite element analysis based on the higher-order shear defomation plate theory is used to compute the contact forces, rebound velocity of a steel ball, and dynamic strain response histories. And low-velocity and high-velocity impact experiments were conducted to compare the results and compute the wave propagation velocities. The results obtained from impact experiments are in good agreement with those of dynamic finite element analysis. Also the wave propagation velocities obtained from high-velocity impact experiments and wave propagation theory agree well, and wave velocities were higher in the smaller radius of steel ball.

An Analytical Solution of Dynamic Responses for Seabed under Coexisting Fields of Flow and Partial Standing Wave with Arbitrary Reflection Ratio (흐름과 임의반사율을 갖는 부분중복파와의 공존장하에서 해저지반내 동적응답의 해석해)

  • An analytical solution of dynamic responses for seabed in finite and infinite thicknesses including shallow has been developed under flow and partial standing wave with arbitrary reflection ration coexisting field at a constant water depth condition. In the analytical solution, a field was simply transited to a coexisting field of progressive wave and flow when reflection ratio was 0 and to a coexisting field of fully standing wave and flow when reflection ratio was 1. Based on the Biot's consolidation theory, the seabed was assumed as a porous elastic media with the assumptions that pore fluid is compressible and Darcy law governs the flow. The developed analytical solution was compared with the existing results and was verified. Using the analytical solution the deformation, pore pressure, effective and shear stresses were examined under various given values of reflection ratio, flow velocity, incident wave's period and seabed thickness. From this study, it was confirmed that the dynamic response of seabed was quite different depending on consideration of flow, which causes changing period and length of incident and reflection waves. It was also confirmed that dynamic response significantly depends on the magnitude of reflection ratio.

결정질 실리콘 태양전지 표면 조직화 형상이 효율에 미치는 영향 분석

  • 표면 조직화의 목적은 태양전지 표면에서의 입사되는 빛의 반사율을 감소 시키고, 웨이퍼 내에서 빛의 통과 길이를 길게 하며, 흡수되는 빛의 양을 증가시키는 것이다. 본 연구에는 습식, 건식 표면조직화 방법에 따른 표면 형상과 표면 반사도를 분석 하였으며, 셀을 제작하여 전기적 특성과 광학적 특성의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 표면 조직화 공정은 염기성 용액인 KOH를 이용한 식각 방법과 Ag를 이용한 metal-assisted 식각, 산증기를 이용한 식각, 플라즈마를 이용한 반응성 이온식각을 적용하여 제작하였다. 표면 반사율을 400~1000 nm 사이의 파장에서 측정하였으며 KOH를 이용하여 식각한 샘플이 9.11%의 표면 반사율을 가졌으며 KOH를 이용하여 식각한 표면에 추가로 metal-assisted 식각을 한 샘플이 2%로 가장 낮은 표면 반사율을 보였다. 표면 조직화 후 동일 조건으로 셀을 제작 하여 효율 측정 결과 Ag를 이용한 2단계 metal-assisted chemical 식각이 15.83%의 가장 낮은 광변환 효율을 보였으며 RIE를 이용한 2단계 반응성 이온 식각공정이 17.78%로 가장 높은 광변환 효율을 보였다. 이 결과는 반사도 결과와 일치 하지 않았다. 표면 조직화 모양에 따른 셀 효율의 변화는 도핑 프로파일과 표면 재결합 속도의 변화 때문이라 생각되며 더 명확한 분석을 위해 양자 효율을 측정하여 분석을 시도하였다. 측정 결과 단파장 대역에서 낮은 응답특성을 가지는 것을 확인 할 수 있었는데 그 이유는 낮은 반사도를 가지는 표면조직화 공정의 경우 나노사이즈의 구조를 갖기 때문에 균일한 도핑 프로파일을 얻지 못해 전자 정공의 분리가 제대로 이루어지지 못하였고 표면 재결합 속도증가의 원인으로 단락전류와 개방전압이 낮아져 효율이 떨어진 것으로 판단된다. 실험 결과 도핑 프로파일의 균일성은 셀 효율 개선을 위해 낮은 표면 반사율 만큼 중요하다는 점을 알게되었다. 낮은 반사율을 갖는 표면조직화 공정도 중요하지만 표면에 따른 균일한 도핑 프로파일을 갖는 공정을 개발한다면 단파장 응답도가 향상되어 단락전류밀도의 상승효과를 얻을 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

Investigation of Impact Factor and Response Factor of Simply Supported Bridges due to Eccentric Moving Loads (이동하중의 편측재하에 따른 단순교의 충격계수 및 응답계수 변화 분석)

  • The proposed model to predict the bridge load carrying capacity uses the impact response spectrum. The spectrum is based on Euler-Bernoulli beam and the center of the bridge width for the moving load location. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the eccentric moving load effects on the impact factor and response factor. For this, this study considers 10 m width and two-lane simply supported slab bridges and performs the moving load analysis to investigate the variations of peak impact factor and corresponding response factor. The numerical results show that the eccentric load increases both the static and dynamic displacements, but the impact factor is decreased since the incremental amount of static displacement is bigger than that of dynamic displacement. However, the difference of the impact factors between the center and eccentric loadings is small showing less than 0.5%p. In the response factor, the eccentric loading increases both the static and dynamic response factors, compared to the center loading. The difference of the response factor is only 0.18%p. It shows that the eccentric loading has very small effects on the response factor, thus the impact factor response spectrum which is generated based on the center moving load can be used to determine the response factor.

  • 본 연구는 이미지의 장르의 차이가 사용자의 시각 피로도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 실험은 20명의 대학생을 대상으로 각각 다른 감성반응을 위해 선정된 다큐멘터리, 사랑, 뉴스 및 스포츠 장르의 이미지를 각각 10장씩을 보여주고, 그에 따른 시각 피로도를 자율신경계 반응 측정(PPG, GSR,SKT)과 동공 영상 기록(동공 변화율) 및 주관적 설문(불쾌도, 긴장도, 피로도)을 하였다. 유의성 검증을 위하여 이미지의 장르를 독립변수로 그에 따른 종속변수를 개인차가 고려된 생리신호 결과와 동공 변화율(픽셀/초) 및 주관적 설문 응답 결과로 하여 일변량 분산 분석을 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 이미지의 장르에 따라 불쾌, 긴장 및 피로 할 경우 자율 신경계 반응의 특정한 패턴을 발견 할 수 있었다.

Sliding Mode Control with Target Variation Rate of Lyapunov Function for Seismic-Excited Structures (Lyapunov 함수의 목표 변화율을 이용한 가진된 건물의 슬라이딩 모드 제어)

  • This paper presents sliding mode control(SMC) method using target variation rate of Lyapunov Function. SMC keeps the response of structure in sliding surface where structure is stable. It can design both linear controller and bang-bang controller. Linear control of previous research, however, can not make most of the performance of controller, because it is designed to satisfy the condition that the variation rate of Lyapunov function is minus. Also, in case of bang-bang controller, unnecessary large control force is generated. Presented method can utilize the capacity of controller efficiently by prescribing the target variation rate of Lyapunov function. Numerical simulation results indicate that the presented control methods can reduce the peak response larger than linear control, and it has control performance equivalent to bang-bang control.

Longitudinal and Complex Influence of Academic Strain on Unhappiness and Mobile Phone Dependency among Adolescents using Latent Growth Model (잠재성장모형을 사용한 청소년의 학업긴장이 불행감과 휴대전화 의존에 미치는 종단적·복합적 영향 분석)

  • The study explores how academic strain, unhappiness, and mobile phone dependency among adolescents have changed over time. And we conducted the longitudinal and complex analysis on the influence of academic strain on unhappiness and mobile phone dependency in order to search the ways to prevent a vicious circle among them. We used general strain theory as a conceptual research frame and analysed the data of 1,589 respondents of the 2nd~4th Korean Children and Youth Panel with latent growth modeling. It was found that the levels of academic strain, unhappiness, and mobile phone dependency among adolescents were linearly increased across time. Academic strain initial status positively affected unhappiness initial status and both the initial status and change rate of mobile phone dependency. The change rate of unhappiness positively affected that of mobile phone dependency. Academic strain change rate positively influenced that of mobile phone dependency mediated by unhappiness change rate. We provided useful implications to academic activities, negative emotions, and mobile phone dependency for adolescents and suggested future studies about reasons of the changes of those variables.

Equivalent Linear System Considering Earthquake Characteristics of MR damper installed in a SDOF (지진하중 특성을 고려한 단자유도 구조물에 설치된 MR감쇠장치의 등가선형시스템)

  • 본 논문에서는 MR 감쇠기의 비선형 특성을 등가의 선형감쇠로 치환하기 위한 방법으로 Newmark와 Hall이 제안한 감쇠계수를 이용하였다. 응답스펙트럼의 감쇠율을 나타내는 감쇠기계수는 구조물의 최대변위를 이용하여 등가감쇠비를 추출할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 하지만 이러한 응답스펙트럼은 구조물에 작용하는 지진하중의 특성에 따라 경향이 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 등가감쇠비 산정식을 수정하여 제안하고, 지진하중 특성에 따른 등가감쇠비의 변화를 살펴보았다. MR 감쇠기의 등가감쇠비는 가진하중과 최대마찰력의 비율에 따라 결정되며, 장주기 구조물의 경우 등가감쇠비가 감소한다. MR 감쇠기의 점성은 마찰감쇠와의 상호작용에 의해 단순한 산술합 이상의 감쇠비 증가 효과를 가진다.

Required Strength Spectrum of Low-Rise Reinforced Concrete Shear Wall Buildings with Pilotis (필로티 구조를 가진 저층 철근콘크리트 전단벽식 건물의 요구내력 스펙트럼)

  • The main purpose of this study is to provide a basic information for the seismic capacity evaluation and the seismic design of low-rise reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall buildings, which are comprised of a pilotis in the first story. In this study, relationships between strengths and ductilities of each story of RC buildings with pilotis are investigated based on the nonlinear seismic response analysis. The characteristics of low-rise RC buildings with pilotis are assumed as the double degree of freedom structural systems. In order to simulate these systems, the pilotis is idealized as a degrading trilinear hysteretic model that fails in flexure and the upper story of shear wall system is idealized as a origin-oriented hysteretic model that fails in shear, respectively. Stiffness properties of both models are varied in terms of story shear coefficients and structures are subjected to various ground motion components. By analyzing these systems, interaction curves of required strengths for various levels of ductility factors are finally derived for practical purposes. The result indicates that the required strength levels derived can be used as a basic information for seismic evaluation and design criteria of low-rise reinforced concrete shear wall buildings having pilotis structure.
