In this paper, we propose a novel approach which models multilingual story link detection by adapting the features such as timelines and multilingual spaces as weighting components to give distinctive weights to terms related to events. On timelines term significance is calculated by comparing term distribution of the documents on that day with that on the total document collection reported, and used to represent the document vectors on that day. Since two languages can provide more information than one language, term significance is measured on each language space and used to refer the other language space as a bridge on multilingual spaces. Evaluating the method on Korean and Japanese news articles, our method achieved $14.3{\%}\;and\;16.7{\%}$ improvement for mono- and multi-lingual story pairs, and for multilingual story pairs, respectively. By measuring the space density, the proposed weighting components are verified with a high density of the intra-event stories and a low density of the inter-events stories. This result indicates that the proposed method is helpful for multilingual story link detection.
Category-based induction is one of major inferential reasoning methods used by humans. This research tested the effect of perceived within-category variability on the inductive generalization. Experiment 1 manipulated variability by directly presenting category exemplars. After displaying low variable (low variability condition) or highly variable exemplars (high variability condition) depending on condition, participants performed inductive generalization task about a category in question. The results showed that participants have greater confidence in generalization when category variability was low than when it was high. Rather than directly presenting category exemplars in Experiment 2, participants performed induction task after they formed category variability impression by categorization task of identifying category exemplars. Experiment 2 also found the tendency that participants have greater inductive confidence when category variability was low. The variability effect discovered in this research is distinct from the diversity effect in previous research and the category-based induction model proposed by Osherson et al. (1990) cannot fully account for the variability effect in this research. Test of variability effect in category-based induction is discussed in the general discussion section.
Studying on the history of korean ancient poetry, we come in contact with a series of verses which 'Jejisarim's Kangho Shijo'. In the 16th century are the representative works among them. Sarim were involved in the domestic discords so that they brought about severe party strifes after all. 'Jejisarim's Kangho Shijo' profoundly dealt with the various problems concerning nature and human beings. Lee, Hyunbo and Lee, Whang are closely related with the philosophical attitudes of Confucianism. After this, Kyun, Homun and Jang, Kyungse can be largely summarized as the dual theory of reason and spirit. From the standpoint of natural principles, the epistmology of Confucianism. the theory of reason has characterized by ideality and reality. It can be said that the problem of harmonizing and uniting nature with human beings was solved in the unity of space and man. 'Jejisarim's Kangho Shijo' in the 16th century prominently express not only the courses of character cultivation but also the pride and close relationship between nature and human beings. We can say that 'Jejisarim's Kangho Shijo' in the 16th century are divided into both types of the conservative idealism and the reformative realism in the Jejisarim. Kangho Ship. the epistmology of Confucianism nature and human beings. ideality and reality political status and that such ships can be separated into types ideality and reality in the philosophical context.
Rewards or penalties become informative only when contingent on an immediately preceding response. Our goal was to determine if the brain responds differently to motivational events depending on whether they provide feedback with the contingencies effective for learning. Event-related fMRI data were obtained from 22 volunteers performing a visuomotor categorical task. In learning-condition trials, participants learned by trial and error to make left or right responses to letter cues (16 consonants). Monetary rewards (+500) or penalties (-500) were given as feedback (learning feedback). In random-condition trials, cues (4 vowels) appeared right or left of the display center, and participants were instructed to respond with the appropriate hand. However, rewards or penalties (random feedback) were given randomly (50/50%) regardless of the correctness of response. Feedback-associated BOLD responses were analyzed with ANOVA [trial type (learning vs. random) x feedback type (reward vs. penalty)] using SPM8 (voxel-wise FWE p < .001). The right caudate nucleus and right cerebellum showed activation, whereas the left parahippocampus and other regions as the default mode network showed deactivation, both greater for learning trials than random trials. Activations associated with reward feedback did not differ between the two trial types for any brain region. For penalty, both learning-penalty and random-penalty enhanced activity in the left insular cortex, but not the right. The left insula, however, as well as the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and dorsomedial prefrontal cortex/dorsal anterior cingulate cortex, showed much greater responses for learning-penalty than for random-penalty. These findings suggest that learning-penalty plays a critical role in learning, unlike rewards or random-penalty, probably not only due to its evoking of aversive emotional responses, but also because of error-detection processing, either of which might lead to changes in planning or strategy.
Purpose: This study was to investigate the functional improvement in peripheral vision following eccentric viewing training. Methods: 14 subjects with normal vision took a part with their right eye, peripheral retinal which is $20^{\circ}$ lateral area from the fovea was examined for contrast sensitivity(CS). Eccentric viewing training was performed for 21days with an hour image viewing and examination was repeated. Results: The critical durations for 0.7 cpd were increased 2.67(467 ms) for pre-eccentric viewing training to 2.79(616 ms) for post-eccentric viewing training (p>0.05). The critical durations for 3.0 cpd were also increased 2.53(341 ms) for pre-eccentric viewing training to 3.04(1102 ms) for post-eccentric viewing training (p>0.05). Conclusions: It is recommended to use higher spatial frequency with higher CS for eccentric viewing training and to train more frequently for a short time. Moreover, the study on Korean standardizing of the visual rehabilitation for low vision based on the etiology is sorely required.

Minimally invasive intramedullary nail insertion or plate osteosynthesis has shown good results for the treatment of long bone fractures. However, directly seeing the fracture site is impossible; surgeons can only confirm bone fragments through a fluoroscopic imaging system. The narrow field of view of the equipment causes malalignment of the fracture reduction, and radiation exposure to medical staff is inevitable. This paper suggests two methods to solve these problems: surgical navigation using 3D models reconstructed from computed tomography (CT) images to show the real positions of bone fragments and estimating the rotational angle of proximal bone fragments from 2D fluoroscopic images. The suggested methods were implemented using open-source code or software and evaluated using a model bone. The registration error was about 2 mm with surgical navigation, and the rotation estimation software could discern differences of $2.5^{\circ}$ within a range of $15^{\circ}$ through a comparison with the image of a normal bone.

Globally branded culture festival in the region as a key component to the originality and distinction and with local residents and visitors to share experience and has succeeded in branding through Mind. Genetic variations of Chajogi (Perilla frutescens var. crispa) germplasms were investigated by using RAPD markers. Twenty-two Perilla frutescens var. crispa lines collected from various locations were subjected to RAPD analysis using 80 primers. Among them, only 22 primers showed polymorphic bands and these 22 primers provided a total of 224 bands consisting of 127 polymorphic and 97 monomorphioc bands. The polymorphic bands were subjected to phylogenetic analysis using the UPGMA method. From UPGMA, similarity co-efficiency of 22 Chajogi lines ranged from 0.72 to 0.94. The dendrogram of 22 lines obtained through the UPGMA method resulted in two groups (one major group and one minor group). Although the two groups were roughly consistent with growth phenotypes (period of flowering, period of maturity, stem length, number of branches, number of nodes, number of flower clusters and number of ovaries) in detail, much inconsistency also was present
Necessity of adjustment in level of difficulty of national examination for radiological technologists is being brought up. However, objective reasons are required to make those arguments more valid. Therefore in this research, result of national examination for radiological technologists under present system was analyzed in more convergence perspective via statistical analysis. This will provide basic data which is applicable when system of national examination for radiological technologists undergo improvements. For this, statistical analysis such as descriptive statistics and correlation analysis was conducted using SPSS program. Results are as follow. First, ratio of successful applicants for radiological technologists was highly fluctuant relative to other national examinations like doctor, nurse, physical therapist, etc. Second, level of difficulty and discernment of national examination for radiological technologists were differentiated from other examinations like doctor, nurse, physical therapist. Third, the 43th examination for radiological technologists conducted in 2015 had the highest discernment as 0.41, despite of lowest level of difficulty as 89.2, for radiologic applications. The results of this research is expected to be used as basic data when system of national examination for radiological technologists undergo improvements, in accordance with increased supplying plan of work-forces in medical radiological technologists.
