In recent years, the number of video cameras that are used to record and broadcast live sporting events has increased, and selecting the shots with the best view from multiple cameras has been an actively researched topic. Existing approaches have assumed that the background in video is fixed. However, this paper proposes a best view selection method for cases in which the background is not fixed. In our study, an athlete of interest was recorded in video during motion with multiple cameras. Then, each frame from all cameras is analyzed for establishing rules to select the best view. The frames were selected using our system and are compared with what human viewers have indicated as being the most desirable. For the evaluation, we asked each of 20 non-specialists to pick the best and worst views. The set of the best views that were selected the most coincided with 54.5% of the frame selection using our proposed method. On the other hand, the set of views most selected as worst through human selection coincided with 9% of best view shots selected using our method, demonstrating the efficacy of our proposed method.

The importance of comments is constantly growing as a participation of individual in Online News that being invigorated. The 'Best Comments', which strongly related by major participants are recognized as a primary public opinion, and obtains the power. Thus this study is aimed to analyze the characteristics of the 'Best Comments' by utilizing the data of comments on Online News. For this study, a possible element that may reveal the difference between 'general' comments and 'best' comments were set up, digitalized the data, and examined the difference between 'general' and 'best' comments. This study is expected to provide a clue for the problematic issues, such as 'online comment rigged scandal' in recent; also as a basic data that subjected by the individual, academic society, government, and etc.

한국상품문화디자인학회는 국내 기업의 상품 개발 의욕과 인력을 고취시키겠다는 취지 아래 1995년부터 베스트 패키지디자인어워드를 제정, 브랜드 아이덴티티, 제품 그래픽스, 용기디자인 부문으로 수상자를 선정하고 있다. 지난해 12월 6일 코리아디자인센터에서 열린 2008 베스트패키지디자인어워즈에서는 (주)고내촌의 '한라보리 고추장'이 대상을 차지했다. 이번 패키지디자인을 진행한 (주)오너디자인연구소 신지영 차장에게 제품 패키지 특성에 대한 설명을 들어보았다.

최근 베스트셀러 목록의 변화가 심상치 않다. 여전히 대형 베스트셀러가 보이지 않는 가운데 종합 순위에 문학서와 인문서의 강세가 눈에 띈다. 문학서의 경우 문예지를 통해 정식으로 등단했거나 이전에도 베스트셀러를 냈던 작가의 작품이, 인문서의 경우 일간지 등을 통해 낯익은 필자들의 저작이 대부분이라는 점에서 베스트셀러의 성격 변화에 대한 의견이 분분하다. 전반적인 출판시장의 축소 때문에 일시적으로 이들 책이 베스트셀러 상위를 차지한다는 분석과 출판시장의 거품이 빠지면서 정상적인 궤도를 찾아간다는 분석이 대부분이다. 두 의견 모두 이런 현상의 원인을 출판시장의 불황에 두는 것 같지만, 이 현상의 성격을 전자는 대형 베스트셀러 대망론으로, 후자는 독서계의 거품이 빠지는 구조조정의 과정으로 본다는 점이 다르다.

For the last decades, a research hotspot for the halide perovskites (HPs) is now showing great progress in terms of improving efficiency for numerous photovoltaic devices (PVDs). However, it still faces challenges in the case of long-term stability in the air atmosphere. Defect-free high-quality HP single crystals show their promising properties for the remarkable development of highly efficient and stable PVDs. Here, we summarize the growth processing routes for the stable HP single crystals as well as briefly discuss the pros and cons of those well-established synthesis routes. Furthermore, we briefly include the comparison note between the HP single crystals and polycrystalline perovskite films regarding their device applications. Based on the future progress, the review concludes subjective perspectives and current challenges for the development of HPs high-quality PVDs.
