Communication network numbers are used in classifying each kind of network, identifying the communication companies and choosing services that are supplied by the companies. In the present, a new numbering system is needed to distinguish a new additional communication network. However the present numbering system of domestic communication network has some problems such as exhaustion of network number, excessive local numbers, and so forth So, in this thesis we call the wire and the wireless telephone network, the pager network and the personal number as communication networks, and consider the present condition and problems of our country, Korea, and foreign countries. Then we propose the efficient numbering plan. Firstly, the present 10 numbering systems that are distributed, such as communication networking number $\ulcorner$01X$\lrcorner$ are diminished into 5 communication network numbers that have same quality. Secondly, subscriber numbers are united to 8 digit and 144 area codes are made into widened 5 area codes. Thirdly, the personal numbering services are cross-distributed by century. And we examine the technical convening plan and the legal converting plan and investigate expecting efficiency of proposed numbering system. If this numbering plan is executed, subscriber's number on communication networks are unified at 8 digits, 5 reserve numbers are secured in exhausted communication network number of $\ulcorner$01X$\lrcorner$, and they can distribute subscriber numbers over twice as much. In addition, number acceptability is enlarged from 237,600 thousands to 400,000 thousands. Personal number can be classified at not only century but also a decade. Accordingly, acceptable numbers are increased two folds enough to provide unification and population increase. We were able to confirm all the efficiencies.

초고속통신망에서 서비스 사업자 시스템에 적용될 번호체계, 상호접속 기준에 대한 기본적 요건과 기술적 표준 규정 등에 관한 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 초고속 서비스 사업자 망과 초고속 통신망에 접속 및 운용되는 시스템에서 초고속망의 번호계획을 위하여 연동을 고려할 대상 망은 기존의 전화망, 데이터망, ATM 망 및 ISDN 등이 있다. 본 고에서는 인터넷망과 ATM 망과의 연동시 발생할 번호체계의 상호접속 및 연동방안에 대하여 논한다. 현재 제정된 ITU-T 표준 규격을 중심으로 현존하는 망과 초고속 번호체계간의 상호 연동방안을 기술하였다. 또한 ATM 포럼 등의 사설기관에서 사용하고 있는 번호체계도 추가적으로 검토하였다.

The numbering plan, basic requirements for interworking standards, and technical standard specification for National Information Infrastructure have not been defined specifically yet. It is reviewed for the numbering plans of public/private ATM networks based on the standard specifications of W-T and ATM Forum. The specifications for numbering plan are discussed for the interworking between current various networks and National Information Infrastructure based on the related standard specification of ITU-T and ATM Forum.

When entering the PIN(personal identification number), the greatest security threat is shoulder surfing attack. Shoulder surfing attack is watching the PIN being entered from over the shoulder to obtain the number, and it is the most common and at the same time the most powerful security threat of stealing the PIN. In this paper, a psychology based PINpad technology referred to as DAS(Dynamic Authentication System) that safeguards from shoulder surfing attack was proposed. Also, safety of the proposed DAS from shoulder surfing attack was tested and verified through intuitive viewpoint, shoulder surfing test, and theoretical analysis. Then, a PINpad with an internal DAS that was certified for its safety from shoulder surfing attack was designed and produced. Because the designed PINpad significantly decreases the chances for shoulder surfing attackers being able to steal the PIN when compared to the ordinary PINpad, it was determined to be suitable for use at ATM(automated teller machine)s operated by banks and therefore has been introduced and is being used by many financial institutions.

In this paper. we dIscussed wIth the ISDN numberIng system of Korea 2digIt of NDC(National Destination Code)is assigned to the common carrier indenttification and an other the service network identification code as conbining the flIst and second dIgIt. The last ot NDC is applicable to for each area code. Resulty. we become 10 digit number for toll system vice 7 digit for local numbering. It is satisfactory to CCITT recommandtion and also. We has been suggested that existing network the mobile. pagget, FAX, TELEX and public networks are able to be connetcted to the ISDN. Near the 1994. we guess that it is fully occupied with 7 digit number to the metropolitan area to solve this problem, after divide to 3 part provincial area southern. nothem and mid-Korea. We suggested that special number system are reorganized with the new and existing service numbers plan. Although, we don't deal with the SA of ISDN numbering systems. Resultly, know that we are to design efficiently number system as 3 digit code for ISDN/NSN.

본 연구는 최근에 대두되는 첨단 교통체계(Intelligent Transportation Systems : ITS)중 첨단교통 관리체계(Advanced Traffic Management Systems : ATMS)에서 자동단속체계(Automatic Traffic Enforcement Systems : ATES)에 사용되는 자동차량번호판인식시스템의 핵심기술인 자동차량 번호판 추출에 관한 연구이다. 일반적으로 번호판익식시스템(License Plate Recogition System : LPRS)가 번호판을 인식하는데 있어서 번호판 추출과 문자인식, 크게 2개의 Process로 구분되어 수행된다. 본 연구에서는 도로상에 설치된 영상 카메라에서 얻은 차량의 영상을 바탕으로 차량의 번호판을 추출하는 새로운 영상처리기법을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구에서 제시한 영상처리기법은 메쉬와핑으로 차량번호판영역의 특징을 이용하여 추출해내는 방법이다. 메쉬란 직교하는 선들로 이루어진 그물 모양의 제어선을 말하는데 이 제어선은 가로와 세로로 한번씩 이미지를 왜곡하여 최종 이미지를 만들어낸다. 이 메쉬와핑기법은 정교하면서도 빠른 속도로 이미지를 처리할 수 있기 때문에 실시간 처리하는데 사용할 수 있다.

우편번호는 우편물 구분작업의 자동화와 효율성 제고를 위해서 매우 중요하다. 1970년 도입된 후 2차 개정을 거친 우리나라 우편번호 체계는 행정구역의 변화, 우편환경의 변화, 집중국 물류체제로의 변화 등으로 여러 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 변화에 대처하기 위해 우편번호 체계에 대한 과학적인 분석을 통해 개선안을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 우편번호 사용 고객을 정의하고 요구사항 및 특성을 분석한 후, 품질평가지표를 개발하고 우편업무에 대한 전문가 대상의 설문조사를 실시하여 현행 및 제안된 우편번호 체계를 객관적으로 평가하였다. 또한, 개선안에 대한 우편환경 영향평가도 간략히 실시하였다.
