Part Load Performance Characteristics according to Inlet Valve Angle (흡입 밸브 각도에 따른 엔진 부분부하 성능 특성)

  • This paper searched through mixture ratio response test whether exert effect that is some in part load performance of engine according to inlet valve angle in gasoline engine. Engines that inlet valve angle is narrow decreased quantity of NOx among exhaust gas than engine that inlet valve angle is wide, and ignition timing was retard, and fuel consumption improved a little. That quantity of NOx among exhaust gas decreases and ignition timing was retard can judge that fast burning occurred. Fast burning can decrease output decline and misfire that can happen at lean burning. Can be judged by thing which engine's combustion performance improves if inlet valve angle is narrow if examine test result.

  • The main purpose of the ball valve ball is to be moved by the rotation of the stem when fully open or completely closed. In this study the heat of the initial model, which used a structure interaction analysis technique, tried to examine the structural safety of the high temperature for the ball valve. In the initial model the stress of the exiting sheet was more than the yield strength. We selected two design shapes with variables of length and thickness for the optimization of the sheet. The Kriging interpolation method was applied to a meta-model-based optimization technique. As a result, it was possible to find a thickness and length for the sheet within the yield strength. This was done by measuring the value of the capacity coefficient of the valve and evaluating the performance of the ball valve.

Development of Degassing Valves for Food Packaging using Ring Type Rubber Disk (링타입 고무막을 이용한 식품 포장용 가스배출 밸브(Degassing Valve) 개발)

  • One-way degassing valves are designed to allow pressure to be released from an air-tight package while preventing air from getting back into the package. Air, especially the oxygen ($O_2$) portion of air, can have negative effects on the package contents and its freshness. The most common application of the one-way degassing valve is for fresh roasted coffee. Demands of one-way degassing valves have been increasing with the high growth of global coffee market. In this study, we have developed one-way degassing valves for coffee and food packaging using ring type rubber disk, named SP valve. Its quality and performance was verified with test results to be equal with that of global top maker's product, Goglio valve. SP valves showed 820~1200 Pa of opening pressure, 10~50 Pa of closing pressure, 1.2~1.6 L/ min of flow rate. And, the SP valve applicable to ferment food packaging is expected to contribute to globalize Korean traditional food.

  • The design of the main control valve, which is the main component of the flap control system, was based on actual manufacturing experience on the basis of trial and error method. In this paper, a model-based part design method is proosed. The flap control system consists of a main control valve, fail-safe valve, solenoid valve, LVDT and force motor. The main control valve consists mainly of a spool and slot. The important design parameters of the main control valve are the slot width, overlap and clearance. AMESim is linked to the model and it analyzes the flow path of the main control valve. Applying the proposed design procedure, it was confirmed that the required performance was satisfied within the allowable machining error range.

  • 콘트롤밸브는 지역 냉${\cdot}$난방 및 APT, 대형 빌딩의 냉온수, 중온수 및 공조배관 시스템에 사용되어 유체적 바란스를 이루는데 사용된다. 이와같이 유체의 흐름을 조절하기 위하여 사용되는 콘트롤 밸브가 때로는 소음 문제를 일으키기도 한다. 최근 들어 밸브의 소음이 문제가 되는 경우가 빈번해 지고 있다. 밸브의 기본적 기능을 충족시키기 위해서는 영구적인 수두 손실이 필요하며 이러한 수두손실을 발생시키는 과정에서 유체 흐름에 의해 발생한 난류가 커다란 밸브 소음을 유발하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 콘트롤 밸브 소음 특성 평가 방법을 검토하였다. 밸브 및 배관으로 이루어진 시스템에서 발생되는 소음을 예측하는 절차를 살펴보았다. 밸브의 음향 파워레벨을 측정하고 유량 및 차압의 변화에 따른 소음 예측식을 결정 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 밸브 소음 측정 방법은 새로운 밸브의 소음특성 평가, 밸브 소음의 예측 그리고 서로 다른 밸브 사이의 성능비교 등에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 티타늄합금을 사용하여 흡기밸브, 배기밸브, 밸브스프링 리테이너를 시제작하였다. FEM 구조해석결과와 모터링 내구실험결과를 통해 이들 부품들이 신뢰성을 가지는 것으로 판명되었다. 엔진성능실험을 통해서 고속영역에서 엔진출력 및 토오크가 3-4% 향상되었다. 단 향후 엔진내구실험을 통하여 충분한 내구성검증이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 MMC 기반 HVDC 시스템용 밸브 성능시험회로에서 서브모듈(Sub Module) 커패시터 전압보다 낮은 전원전압을 사용하여 밸브(Valve) 단위의 서브모듈을 시험 할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 성능시험회로는 시험 전류를 만들기 위해 서브모듈 커패시터 전압보다 큰 DC 전원을 필요로 한다. DC 파워 서플라이는 성능시험회로의 가격의 대부분을 차지하므로 고전압 출력 DC 파워 서플라이의 사용은 시험회로 가격 상승의 주된 원인이 된다. 때문에 낮은 DC 전원 전압을 사용함으로 시험회로의 전반적인 가격을 낮출 수 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 시험회로의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • The actuation and leakage tests of solenoid valve for propellant tank pressurization system have been conducted. The response time of solenoid valve manufactured is satisfactory to perform requirement. However, leakage was found at the upper part seat of relief valve inside solenoid valve. Solenoid valve was disassembled in order to discover leakage causes. We found out that the upper seat of relief valve was damaged. Through this study, the development possibility of propellant tank pressurization solenoid valve was confirmed.

  • A thrust control valve of a liquid rocket engine plays a role to increase or decrease the thrust of an LRE by modulating the flow rate of propellant into a gas-generator. This paper deals with a flow regulator that has functions of not only modulating thrust but also maintaining constant flow rate regardless of pressure change at inlet or outlet of the flow regulator. A direct acting flow regulator was fabricated and tested for the comparison of experimental and simulation results under steady-state conditions. The drawbacks and limitations of the flow regulator were analyzed. Also the new design of a flow regulator was proposed.

  • Indoor hydrant facilities are used to fight initial fires before more intense fire extinguishing activities. Fire extinguishing facilities should ensure good fire extinguishing performance and the safety of users. Indoor hydrant facilities are mostly installed in buildings and facilities, and users must manipulate valves, hoses, and nozzles manually. When the discharge pressure is higher than 0.70 MPa, there is a high possibility that problems with manipulation and hose breakdown can occur. To prevent these problems, a method to attach orifice-type decompression valves to the angle valves of indoor hydrant discharge outlets has frequently been used for decompression methods. However, the decompression performance was reduced due to structural problems of the decompression valves over time. Accordingly, based on three-stage initial pressures, applicable pressure ranges were selected by measuring the decompression performance according to the diameter of the decompression orifices. Based on the data, stable decompression valve models are proposed. These models have the lowest decrease in decompression performance, regardless of time.
