단락종단된 동축 슬롯 결합 스트림 배열 안테나 (Short-Ended Coaxial Slot-Coupled Strip Array Antenna)

  • A new type of collinear antenna called short-ended coaxial slot-coupled strip array antenna is investigated theoretically. The antenna has an advantage of structural simplicity. The integral equations are derived for the proposed structure by use of the Fourier transform and mode expansion, and the simultaneous linear equations are obtained. The slot electric field and strip current are then obtained by solving the simultaneous linear equation. The effects of slot and strip number on the radiation efficienty, beamwidth and directivity gain are also presented.

  • In this paper, we present the design and measurement of a collinear dipole array (CDA) operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. The array is consisted of six collinear dipoles joined by phasing coils. A cmmercial software is used to design the antenna with an optimum performance. The designed array is fabricated and is measured to confirm the design.

  • In this paper, the analysis and design of a spirally slotted array antenna with high efficiency are presented. Electric fields in the slots are calculated by electromagnetic fields in the upper waveguide and radiation field equations are derived. Slots are arrayed spirally on the upper circular plate of twofold radial waveguide. In order to suppress grating lobes from the array, a slow wave structure is inserted in the upper waveguide. This antenna is characterized by a good circular polarization, high efficiency of 75 percent and grating lobes below -34dB.

  • A T-shaped microstripline-fed printed slot array antenna having wide bandwidth, high gain, and narrow bandwidth is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna is analyzed by using the transmission line model method. We fabricated 4$\times$1 microstrip slot array antenna and measured its return loss and radiation pattern. The maximum bandwidth of this array antenna is from 1.43 ㎓ to 2.60 ㎓, which is 58.1% for the VSWR $\leq$ 2.

  • In This paper, the 4$\times$4 microstrip patch array antenna for millimeter-wave is designed and fabricated. Before that, a patch antenna is designed to analyze the property in the millimeter-wave. Also, the excitation is implemented using edge and prove feeding. The array method is used to design the 2x1 array with corporate feeding network. Measured antenna shows 12.77 dBi gain, 37.65 GHz center frequency, -29.78 return loss and 680 MHz band width.

  • In this paper, a satellite array antenna operates at 12.2GHz~12.75GHz was designed and fabricated. The lowest height and high gain electrical beam tilt was obtained by applying backed slot and sub-reflector widening the distance between the patch and the GND. The simulation and measurement showed good agreements, the electrical beam tilt was $10^{\circ}$, the gain was 26.5dBi, the VSWR was less than 3:1 and the return loss was less than -15dB.

  • In this paper we designed and measured HTS antenna array for Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) system. HTS antennas fabricated in this work were a four-element, 11.67 ㎓z, high-Tc superconducting (HTS) microstrip antenna array with corporate feed network and circular polarization for direct broadcas- ting satellite (DBS) system. Our antennas was designed and built on a 0.5 mm thick YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) /MgO substrate. The measurement results showed good axial ratio, wide bandwidth a remarkable improvement over their metal counterpart.

  • In this paper, we present design methods for a series-fed microstrip patch array operating at X-band frequency. The array consists of 18 rectangular patches connected to 3 quarter-wave impedance transformers. The power divider is designed for the uniform element excitation. The element excitation is then made to be tapered by increasing the input impedance of elements located at array edges. The designed antenna is fabricated and tested. Results of test show a fair agreement with the prediction.

  • The radiation pattern of a rectangular-grid array antenna consisted of rectangular waveguides is represented by multiplication of its element and array factors. Calculated radiation patterns for excitation of TES110T mode inside the waveguides suffer from the blindness at a particular direction on E-plane. Numerical simulations show that the blindness can be removed by inserting dielectric plug inside the waveguides or covering dielectric sheath in front of the waveguides.

2.4 GHz ISM대역용 소형 0차 공진 안테나 (Compact 0th Order Antenna for 2.4 GHz ISM Band)

  • 본 논문에서는 2.4 GHz ISM대역에서 사용가능한 0차 공진 안테나를 새롭게 제안하였다. 2.4 GHz ISM대역을 사용하는 Wi-fi, Bluetooth 및 Zigbee와 같은 무선통신 시스템의 경우, 방향에 따른 수신 전계강도의 변화가 없는 전방향 방사패턴을 가진 안테나의 사용을 필요로 한다. 0차 공진 안테나의 경우 안테나의 공진길이에 무관하게 소형화에 유리할 뿐만 아니라 전방향성의 방사패턴을 가지는 장점이 있다. 제안된 안테나는 단위 요소셀의 크기를 모노폴 안테나의 공진길이인 ${\lambda}/4$이하로 정하고 이를 2소자로 배열한 형태이다. 설계에 이용된 PCB의 크기는 $50{\times}50mm^2$이고 제안된 안테나는 PCB의 중상부에 $8{\times}5mm^2$의 제한된 크기로 설계 및 제작되었다. 제작된 안테나의 특성측정결과, 임피던스 대역폭($S_{11}{\leq}-10dB$)이 100 MHz (2.4~2.5 GHz)로 크기에 비해 꽤 넓은 대역폭을 얻을 수 있었으며, 해당 대역에서 3 dBi 이상의 높은 이득을 얻을 수 있었다.
