A hierarchical path finding algorithm with the technique of minimizing the number of turn (방향전환 최소화 기법을 적용한 계층 경로 탐색 알고리즘)

  • When traveling on real road network, it generally takes less travel time in a near straight path than a zig-zaged path with same source and destination. In order to making a left(right/u) turn, the delay should be required to decrease the speed. The traffic signal waiting time of left(right/u) turn is probably longer than straight driving. In this paper, we revise the previous hierarchical path finding algorithm to reduce the number of turns. The algorithm proposed in this paper complied with a hierarchical $A^*$ algorithm, but has a distinct strategy for edge weight. We define an edge that makes a turn as a turn-edge and give the turn-edge lower weight to maintain the straightness of the whole path.

  • It needs to consider of turns during a path-finding on real road network. Because a car is delayed by waiting a traffic signal and decreasing speed when drived in a turn road such as cross road and slip road. If a straightness of a path is increased, a real cost of traveling should be able to decrease. An older method, the algorithm with Turn Heuristic, considered of this case. The algorithm, that differently gave weights to left, right and U-turns, improved a straightness of a path, but increased a cost of exploring. In this paper, we propose a improved Turn Heuristic Algorithm. Proposed algorithm uses Dynamic Turn Heuristic. It is able to more decrease a cost of exploring than older method by using the Turn Heuristic in a part of path-finding.

  • In the rapidly developing information technology environment, information management organizations need to effectively evaluate their digital maturity and clarify the direction of improvement to effectively respond to rapidly changing environments. This study derived weights for the digital curation maturity model developed by KISTI from the perspective of digital transformation to facilitate effective evaluation and direction setting of information management organizations. Relative importance was derived as a weight in the major and middle categories of the model through the AHP technique. Summarizing the results, when the major categories of the entire model are measured on the basis of 100 points, technology is 27 points, data is 24 points, strategy is 19 points, organization (manpower) is 16 points, and (social) influence is calculated as 14 points. In addition, weights for each subcategory were presented for each major classification based on a perfect score of 100 points. It is expected that a more objective and reasonable evaluation will be possible by applying the weights for each area derived from this study to the digital transformation maturity evaluation model.

An Implementation of $A^*$ Algorithm with Turn Heuristic for Enhancing the Straightness of a Path (경로의 직진성을 고려한 턴 휴리스틱 $A^*$ 알고리즘의 구현)

  • In driving a car, u-turn or left turn makes the speed of car decrease considerably or require more waiting time at the cross for the traffic signal to turn green. A more straight path, therefore, is probably faster to arrive at the destination than zig-zaged path with same distance. Previous works related to the path navigation do not consider the straightness of the path. In this paper, we have proposed the path navigation algorithm with turn heuristic for enhancing the straightness of a path. We have implement the proposed algorithm and compared it with a traditional $A^*$ algorithm. The experimental result shows that the degree of the straightness of a path is enhanced by 30% and the navigation distance of a path is deceased by 3.3%.

  • This paper describes a quantitative approach to the BIM-enabled assessment of building circulation by using quantitative data and applying its weight. Assessment of building circulation plays an important role before construction stage because of related requirements regulated by design guide, building codes, etc. and design decision making as well. In this paper, Qualitative issue is mainly dealt with that are usually excluded from rule checking objects due to their implicit definition such as 'comfortable circulation'. A weighting framework is suggested using weighted data of circulation properties such as 1) metric distance, 2) number of passing spaces, 3) number of turning spaces, 4) window area of passing space, etc.

  • We proposed 3D mesh watermarking algorithm using CEGI distribution. In the proposed algorithm, we divide a 3D mesh of VRML data into 6 patches using distance measure and embed the same watermark bits into the normal vector direction of meshes that mapped into the cells of each patch that have the large magnitude of complex weight of CEGI. The watermark can be extracted based on the known center point of each patch and order information of cell. In an attacked model by affine transformation, we accomplish the realignment process before the extraction of the watermark. Experiment results exhibited the proposed algorithm is robust by extracting watermark bit for geometrical and topological deformed models.

  • 본 연구에서는 현행 홍수예보에 활용되고 있는 지점 강우량의 면적강우량 산정 방법인 티센(Thiessen) 방법의 유역 평균 강우량 산정 시 발생하는 구조적 문제점을 검토하여 보았다. 현행지상 강수량계 기반의 면적평균강우량 산정 방법은 호우의 이동 방향에 따라 실제 강우량과 시차가 발생할 수 있는 구조적 문제점을 가지고 있다. 분석 결과 호우의 이동방향에 따른 강우의 시차발생이나 내삽 영역의 불확실성은 지점 강우량 관측의 한계로 티센방법 뿐만 아니라 지점 강우량을 사용하는 다른 내삽 방법에서도 정도의 차이는 있지만 유사하게 나타났다. 그러나 티센방법은 유역별 지점의 가중치(영향영역)가 고정되어 있기 때문에 이러한 현상이 심각하게 나타났다. 즉 현행 티센방법에 의한 지상 강우량의 면적평균 강우량 산정 방법은 시공간적으로 큰 바이어스를 초래가 가능하다. 크리깅 방법을 이용하면 시공간적 바이어스 감소하나 지점 관측의 한계를 완전하게 해소하는데는 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 지점강우량 기반의 티센 유역평균 강수량 산정 체계에서 레이더 기반 유역평균 강우량 생산 활용 체계로 전환이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • 지금까지 영상 콘텐츠 제작 기술의 발전은 SD(Standard Definition)에서 시작하여 HD(High Definition)와 FHD(Full High Definition)를 거쳐, UHD(Ultra High Definition)에 이르기까지 화질을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. UHD 에 이르며 육안으로는 그 이상의 해상도로 제작된 콘텐츠와 구분하는 것이 힘들어졌으며, 이에 영상 콘텐츠 제작은 화질이 아닌 제한된 촬영 장비들로부터 촬영 방법, 영상 화각의 개선 작업 등으로 그 방향을 전환하고 있다. 이의 연장선 상에서 360 도 영상에 대한 기술개발이 활발히 이루어 지고 있다. 방송 분야에서는 360 도 영상의 실시간 스트리밍 적용 가능성이 모색되고 있는데, 이것이 가능 하려면 대량의 동영상 데이터를 실시간으로 스티칭하여 전달하는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 고속 이미지 스티칭이 가능해질 경우 실시간 동영상 스티칭을 통해 방송 통신 분야에서의 서비스 향상에 기여할 것으로 보인다. 본 논문은 이미지의 edge 정보를 방향성을 가진 데이터로 분할하여 특징점을 추출하고, 이후 가중치를 통한 특징점 매칭으로 기존의 이미지 스티칭 방법 보다 빠른 속도의 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • User's sensitivity is recognized as a very important parameter for communication between company, government and personnel. Especially in many studies, researchers use voice tone, voice speed, facial expression, moving direction and speed of body, and gestures to recognize the sensitivity. Multiplex modality is more precise than single modality however it has limited recognition rate and overload of data processing according to multi-sensing also an excellent algorithm is needed to deduce the sensing value. That is as each modality has different concept and property, errors might be happened to convert the human sensibility to standard values. To deal with this matter, the sensibility expression modality is needed to be extracted using technologies like analyzing of relational network, understanding of context and digital filter from multiplex modality. In specific situation to recognize the sensibility if the priority modality and other surrounding modalities are processed to implicit values, a robust system can be composed in comparison to the consuming of computer resource. As a result of this paper, it is proposed how to assign the weight of multiplex modality using implicit data.
