An Experimental Analysis of a Probabilistic DDHV Estimation Model (확률적인 중방향 설계시간 교통량 산정 모형에 관한 실험적 해석)

  • This paper is described as an experimental analysis for the probabilistic directional design hour volume estimation. The main objective of this paper is to derive acceptable design rankings, PK factors, and PD factors. In order to determine an appropriate distribution for acceptable design rankings, 12 probability distribution functions were employed. The parameters were estimated based on the method of maximum likelihood. The goodness of fit test was performed with a Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The Beta General distribution among the probability distributions was selected as an appropriate model for 2 lane roadways. On the other hand, the Weibull distribution is superior for 4 lanes. The method of the inverse cumulative distribution function came up with an acceptable design ranking of design for LOS D. An acceptable design ranking of 2 lanes is 190, while an acceptable design ranking for 4 lanes is 164. The PK factor and PD factor of 2 lanes was elicited for 0.119 (0.100-0.139) and 0.568 (0.545-0.590), respectively. On the other hand, the PK factor and PD factor for 4 lanes was elicited as 0.106 (0.097-0.114) and 0.571 (0.544-0.598), respectively.

  • 장대 케이슨 방파제에 작용하는 다방향 불규칙파랑의 파력 평활화 계수를 계산하였다. 다방향 불규칙파랑의 주파수 스펙트럼으로는 Bretschneider-Mitsuyasu 스펙트럼을 사용하였고, 방향 스펙트럼은 Mitsuyasyu 타입의 스펙트럼을 적용하였다. 계산 결과 단일 케이슨의 길이가 길수록, 주파향의 입사각이 클수록 평활화 계수는 감소하였다. 다양한 에 대해서도 계산하였으며, 가 클수록 평활화계수는 규칙파와 비슷한 경향을 보였다.

  • This paper presents groundwater flow characteristics in discontinuous rock mass using fracture network program(NAPSAC) by statistical approach. Equivalent permeability coefficients are estimated from borehole data around Mabuk test tunnel site and fracture map on the arch of the tunnel. The reliability of fracture network model is obtained from determination of input data for statistical fracture network analysis from the real data(data of fracture network, data of hydraulic tests). The variation of permeability and mean anisotropic permeability coefficients are calculated from the realized model by increasing the size. As a result of analysis, a strong anisotropy of permeability is observed according to the direction of the fracture sets around the test tunnel.

  • Dispersion coefficient influenced by the wave parameters was derived analytically using the vertical velocity distribution based on linear wave theory. It is the depth- and wave period-averaged value and shows larger values in deep water condition than in shallow water condition. It also shows the general pattern of the dispersion coefficient in the oscillatory flows, i.e. it converges the specific value as the wave period is much larger than the vertical mixing time but it approaches zcro as the wave period is much smaller than the vertical mixing time. The dispersion coefficient derived in the condition of the simple assumption have to be modified in order to consider the shallow water condition or the real condition.

  • 본 연구에서는 1차원 이송-분산 과정을 연구하고 전단류 흐름 및 분산거동에 있어 Taylor 이론의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 '종방향 이송과 횡방향 확산의 균형'을 기본 개념으로 하여, 이송과 확산을 분리하여 이 두 과정이 순차적으로 발생한다는 가정에 의거한 순차혼합모형을 제시하였다. 본 모형에서는 가상의 하천을 여러 개의 행과 종방향 거리를 길이가 일정한 구획으로 나누어 연속적인 분산과정을 이산적인 형태로 나타낼 수 있게 하고, 횡방향 유속분포에 따라 각 행에 각기 다른 유속을 할당한다. 오염물질은 하폭방향 선오염원으로 원점에 순간주입되며, 주어진 혼합시간 $t_m$ 동안 각 행의 오염물질들이 각자에 할당된 유속을 따라 진행하고 진행이 끝난 후 횡방향 확산이 순간적으로 이루어진다. 횡방향 확산은 횡방향으로 완전하게 일어남을 가정하여, 횡방향 확산이 끝나면 각 열에서의 농도 평균값이 할당된다. 이러한 혼합시간 $t_m$ 동안의 순차적인 이송-확산 과정이 반복되면서 오염물질의 분산이 일어나며, 농도 분포 그래프를 그릴 수 있게 된다. 순차혼합모형을 가상의 직선하천에 적용하여 종분산계수를 유도하였는데, 본 연구에서 유도된 종분산계순식은 Fischer.가 제안한 식과 유사한 형태로 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 본 모형에서 계산된 농도분포 곡선을 해석해와 비교한 결과,두 곡선이 적절히 일치함을 확인할 수 있었으며 해석해와의 비교를 통해 종분산계수 K가 혼합시간 $t_m$과 선형관계임을 확인할 수 있었다. 수심대하폭비에 따라 각기 다른 유속분포에 적용하여 종분산계수 K가 유속편차강도의 제곱에 비례관계에 있음이 밝힐 수 있었다. 수압은 $4.69kg/cm^2$으로 나타났다. 밸브 개폐도가 $100\%$일 때가 밸브를 $60\%$$80\%$ 개폐시켰을 때보다 $0.3kg/cm^2,\;0.29kg/cm^2$ 낮게 나타나 밸브를 전체 개방 했을 때 관로내의 수압이 상수설계기준에 적합한 수압을 유지함을 알 수 있다. 상수관로 설계 기준에서는 관로내 수압을 $1.5\~4.0kg/cm^2$으로 나타내고 있는데 $6kg/cm^2$보다 과수압을 나타내는 경우가 $100\%$로 밸브를 개방하였을 때보다 $60\%,\;80\%$ 개방하였을 때가 더 빈번히 발생하고 있으므로 대상지역의 밸브 개폐는 $100\%$ 개방하는 것이 선계기준에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 밸브 개폐에 따른 수압 변화를 모의한 결과 밸브 개폐도를 적절히 유지하여 필요수량의 확보 및 누수방지대책에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.8R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$

Evaluation of Surface Emission and Internal Movement of Water in Japanese Larch Lumber (낙엽송재 내 수분의 내부이동 및 표면방사 평가)

  • Japanese larch specimens with dimension of 2.5 (radial direction) ${\times}$ 2.5 (tangential direction) ${\times}$ 2.5 cm (longitudinal direction) were prepared to determine 3 different directional internal moisture movement coefficients and surface emission coefficients along the radial-, the tangential-, and the tangential-direction. 4 sides of each cubic specimen were wrapped with paraffin tape and rubber tape, leaving open the 2 opposite surfaces of interest, to provide one dimensional moisture movement during drying. The coefficients were determined at three different temperatures, 70, 50 and $30^{\circ}C$ and at two different relative humidities, 30 and 60%. Internal moisture movement coefficients inclusive of flow of free water and diffusion of bound water and water vapor were increased in the high temperature condition. The internal moisture movement coefficient in the longitudinal direction was about six times of those in transverse directions with radial value being 20% greater than the tangential. Surface emission coefficients were increased with temperature and decreased with surface moisture content. Using this results, moisture content (MC) profile and quantities of moisture evaporating in Japanese larch lumber could be predicted in dynamic drying situations.

Directional Interpolation of Lost Block Using Difference of DC values and Similarity of AC Coefficients (DC값 차이와 AC계수 유사성을 이용한 방향성 블록 보간)

  • In this paper, a directional reconstruction of lost block in image over noisy channel is presented. DCT coefficients or pixel values in the lost blocks are recovered by using the linear interpolation with available neighboring blocks that are adaptively selected by the directional measure that are composed of the DDC (Difference of DC opposite blocks)and SAC(Similarity of AC opposite blocks) between opposite blocks around lost blocks. The proposed directional recovery method is effective for the strong edge and texture regions because we do not make use of the fixed 4-neighboring blocks but exploit the varying neighboring blocks adaptively by the directional information in the local image. In this paper, we describe the novel directional measure(CDS: Combination of DDC and SAC) composed of the DDC and the SAC and select the usable block to recover the lost block with the directional measure. The proposed method shows about 0.6dB PSNR improvement in average compared to the conventional methods.

  • 본 논문에서는 프레임 메모리를 줄이는 간이형 비디오 디코더의 다섯가지 알고리즘을 연구하여 성능을 비교한다. fixed-length ADPCM 기법을 적용하여 메모리를 줄이는 알고리즘과 수평 방향으로 decimation 하는 방법, 그리고 DCT 계수를 filtering 하는 방법을 구현하고 이보다 더 압축률을 높여서 수평 방향으로 decimation 하거나 DCT 계수를 filtering 하는 방법에 ADPCM 기법을 결합한다. 이렇게 함으로써 원래의 비디오 디코더 프레임 메모리의 25% 까지 메모리를 줄일 수가 있다. 메모리 크기를 줄이는 이점 이외에, 하나의 비디오 디코더 구조가 몇가지 압축 모드를 구성하므로 원하는 복잡도와 메모리 크기에 따라 응용이 자유롭다.

Tension calculation on trash curtain in current (흐름중 부유쓰레기 차단막에 작용하는 장력계산)

  • Herein, a theoretical method based on the catenary model Is applied to obtain the tension and drag forces acting on the trash curtain which is deployed at river for the prevention of floating debris inflow into the ocean. Under the assumption that fluid drag is perpendicular to the trash curtain, the tension and drag forces are uniform along the trash curtain. As a numerical model, the trash curtain is moored both symmetrically and asymmetrically with respect to the flow. The tension and drag forces on the trash curtain are investigated according to the change of Bap ratio and inclined angle of the trash curtain. Numerical results show that tension parameter is increased as the gap ratio is increased. It is found that tension parameter is reduced as the inclined angle is increased in the case of asymmetric deployment. The numerical model is applied to the specific problem for the trash curtain (200m) deployed at the Tancheon on the Han river. The maximum inflow velocity that anchor system can endure is 2m/sec.
