Advanced Contour Tracing Algorithms based on Analysis of Tracing Conditions (추적 조건 분석에 의한 개선된 외곽선 추적 기법들)

  • 외곽선 추적 알고리즘은 영상 인식 및 표현에 있어서 물체의 기본 성질을 파악하는데 중요하다. 따라서 많은 알고리즘들이 연구되어 왔으며, 이중에는 간단한 경계선 추적자 알고리즘(SBF: Simple Boundary Follower)이다. 이외에도 수정된 간단한 경계선 추적자 알고리즘 (MSBF: Modified Simple Boundary Follower), 개선된 간단한 경계선 추적자 알고리즘(ISBF: Improved Simple Boundary Follower), 무어-네이버 추적 알고리즘(MNT: Moore-Neighbor Tracer), 방사형 탐색 알고리즘(RSA: Radial Sweep Algorithm), 그리고 Theo Pavlidis 알고리즘(TPA)이 있다. 이러한 알고리즘들은 추적 경로 특성들이 다르며 각기 장점과 제약성이 있다.외곽선 알고리즘들의 제약성은 크게 두 가지로 나눌 수 있다. 하나는 알고리즘 특성에 따라 외곽선 픽셀간 인접 형태에 따라 추적하지 못하는 경우가 존재할 수 있다는 것이다. 또 다른 하나는 외곽선 추적 알고리즘의 시작과 종료 조건에 따라서 특정 위치 픽셀들을 찾지 못하는 경우도 존재한다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 중심으로 외곽선 추적 알고리즘들의 성능을 분석하였다. 또한, ISBF의 시작 조건과 TPA의 인너코너 추적을 개선하는 기법들을 제안하여 이를 해결토록 하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 기법들은 외곽선 추적 성능을 개선하는데 효과적이었다.

  • Telemetry data is very important for the Launch Mission and Flight Safety Control during the Space Launch. In Naro Space Center, several telemetry stations such as a small station in the NARO space center, two stations in Jeju and a downrange station on a ship are deployed for the stable acquisition/receiving of the telemetry signals. In this paper, the Link Margin and Reliability for the telemetry are analyzed to evaluate the probability of the signal receiving of each station. Even though the proper analysis is to using the on-board EIRP(Effective Isotropic Radiation Power) values in the direction of the ground station considering the predicted flight trajectory and the locations of the stations, the global EIRP of 95% spatial coverage has been used for the analysis, due to the limitation of the available data.

  • The radiation characteristics of a phased array antenna is changed according to the beam steering angle. The monopulse tracking system calculates the prediction angle using the radiation characteristics of antenna. Therefore, the monopulse ratio curve is changed according to the beam steering angle for the monopulse tracking system using a phase array antenna, and the tracking accuracy goes down. In the case of a single-channel monopulse system, the monopulse rate curve is controlled by the configuration variables of the system. In this paper, a simplified formula was presented for adaptive control of monopulse system configuration variables on beam steering angle. The presented formula can induce a uniform monopulse ratio curve for the beam steering angle as well as the phased array antenna design parameters.

  • Barium titanyl oxalate was synthesized by adding ethanol solution of oxalic acid to the mixed aqueous solution which contained barium or lanthanum radiotracers in addition to Ba(NO$_3)_2$ and TiO(NO$_3)_2$. The oxalate was finally converted to BaTiO$_3$ by calcination at 1000$^{\circ}$C in air. The chemical formula of the oxalate was confirmed to be BaTiO(CTEX>$_2O_4)_2{\cdot}4H_2O$ by the thermal analysis of the barium titanyl oxalate. When the mixture's molar ratio(Ba/Ti) was within a range of 0.950-1.05, the formation of stoichiometric Barium titanate was confirmed with the help of barium tracers. The homogeneity of lanthanum deposite in the final product was also confirmed through the behavior of lanthanum tracers. The results as well as those obtained by XRD and SEM have been explained on the basis of the fact that the reaction occurs on the molecular level in solution and the barium titanate is formed in crystals of single phase.

  • Radial distance sensors are widely used for surveying and autonomous navigation. It is necessary to train the operation principle of these sensors and how to apply them. Although commercialization of radial distance sensor continues to be cost-effective through lower performance, but it is still expensive for educational purposes. In this paper, we propose a distance sensor module with object tracking using radial array of low cost phototransistor which can be used for educational robot. The proposed method is able to detect the position of a fast moving object immediately by arranging the phototransistor in the range of 180 degrees and improve the sensing angle range and track the object by the sensor rotation using the servo motor. The scan speed of the proposed sensor is 50~200 times faster than the commercial distance sensor, thus it can be applied to a high performance educational mobile robot with 1ms control loop.

  • In this paper, we propose a multiple underwater object classification and tracking algorithm using the narrowband tonal and frequency line features extracted from the frequency spectrum of the acoustic signal. The general algorithm using the wideband and narrowband energy has a high tracking error when objects are close and cross each other. But the proposed algorithm shows a good tracking performance for the simulation scenarios generated by the real acoustic data.

  • 유역에서 물의 평균체류시간은 강우에 의해 토양에 강우 등으로 인해 수분이 침투하여 유출되기까지 소요되는 평균 시간이며, 침식, 식생분포, 유출기작 등을 지배하는 수문학적 과정을 이해하는데 중요한 요소이다. 물의 평균체류시간을 산정하는 대표적인 방법인 방사성 동위원소에 의한 추적자법은 계산과정이 복잡하고 많은 비용이 들면서도 간접적인 방법임으로, 본 연구에서는 토양수분의 거동을 관측해 산지사면에서 물의 평균체류시간을 산정하는 보다 직접적인 방법을 고안하였다. 토양수분의 측정을 위해 광릉 국립수목원에 위치한 산림 소유역에 토양 수분 측정장비인 TDR을 설치하고 1년 동안 2시간 간격으로 깊이별 측정을 수행하였다. 토양수분을 이용해 산정된 물의 체류시간은 대상유역의 불투수 지하면에 가까워질수록 상승하는 경향을 보였고 강우가 집중된 여름에 가장 짧은 것으로 나타났다. 실험에서 얻어진 평균체류시간은 기존의 화학적 방법을 통해 산정된 값과 유사한 경향을 보였는데 이러한 결과들은 토양수분의 측정과 분석을 통한 방법이 방사성 동위원소를 이용한 방법보다 더욱 효율성 있는 측정을 할 수 있다는 것을 나타낸다.

  • In this paper, we want to solve the problems that users want to search the progress of attack, continuity of attack, association between attackers and victims, blocking priority and countermeasures by using visualization interface with multi-rotational axis and radial axis structure. It is possible to effectively monitor and track security events by arranging a time series event based on a multi-rotational axis structured by an event generation order, a subject of an event, an event type, and an emission axis, which is an objective time indicating progress of individual events. The proposed interface is a practical visualization interface that can apply attack blocking and defense measures by providing the progress and progress of the whole attack, the details and continuity of individual attacks, and the relationship between attacker and victim in one screen.
