Lateral ankle instability is one of common injury in sports medicine. Already many studies were done with scientific data and clinical relationship. This review article wants to discuss about controversial subject of ankle instability. It will be conducted more precise diagnosis and treatment.

최근 항체미형성기의 오염혈액을 2003년 8월 수혈받은 2명이 에이즈의 원인병원체인 HIV(인면역결핍바이러스)에 감염된 사실이 언론에 발표되었다. 다행스럽게도 수혈감염자로부터 2차 감염은 이루어지지 않았으나 얼마 전 HIV 항체미형성기의 혈장을 원료로 한 알부민제제 시판 논란과 더불어 일반 국민들은 국가혈액공급의 안전에 큰 불안을 갖게 되었다.

해마다 12월이면 정부나 각 기업연구소에서는 내년 경제성장률을 예측하고 산업전망을 발표한다. 그렇지만 올해는 세계 경제의 변화가 하루하루 다른 현재진행형이라는 점에서 최근의 경제불안이 언제 마무리 될 지 감을 잡기조차 쉽지 않다고 입을 모은다. 국가나 대기업도 이럴진대 중소벤처기업들은 더욱 앞날을 예측하기 어려운 게 현실이다. 다사다난多事多難이란 말이 실감나는 2008년. 내년엔 중소벤처기업인들이 좀 더 희망적이고 신바람나는 경제상황이 되기를 기원하며 2008년 중소벤처기업 이슈를 정리한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate 1) learner's satisfaction and perception on PBL 2) the relationship between learning styles and PBL preferences 3) the effects of decreasing communication apprehension through PBL. The results were as follows: 1) the students were satisfied with PBL and perceived positively on PBL 2) the students with high participative or cooperative learning styles were satisfied with PBL and perceived more positively on PBL, but those who had avoidant or dependent learning styles didn't perceive positively on PBL 3) the degree of communication apprehension in meeting was decreased significantly. We expect this research to be foundation in instructional design of PBL with individual differences

Two-phase cross-flow exists in many shell-tube heat exchangers such as condensers, reboilers and nuclear steam generators. To avoid problems due to excessive vibration, information on vibration excitation in two-phase cross-flow is required. Fluid-elastic instability is discussed in this paper. Four tube bundle configurations were subjected to increasing flow up to the onset of fluid-elastic instability. The tests were done on bundles with one flexible tube surrounded by rigid tubes. The fluid-elastic instability behavior is different for intermittent flows than for bubbly flows. For bubbly flows, the observed instabilities satisfy the relationship V/fd=K(2.pi..zeta. m/rho. $d^{21}$)$^{0.51}$ in which the minimum instability factor K was found to be 2.3 for bundles of p/d=1.22. The lowest critical velocities for fluid-elastic instability were experienced with parallel-triangular tube bundles. For intermittent flow, the observed instabilities did not follow the forgoing relation-ship. Significantly lower flow velocities were required for instability..

근래 정보화의 진전에 따라 전파이용분야의 수요가 높아지고 있으며 이러한 가운데 전파이용시설로부터 방사되는 전파가 인체에 나쁜 영향을 미치지 않을까 하는 불안과 의문이 제기되고 있다. 연구보고에 의하면 생체가 강한 전자파에 노출되는 경우 눈의 백내장 형성, 성기능 장해, 열적 손상, 경련, 행동 둔화 등의 생체작용이 일어나는 것으로 밝혀지고 있다. 그러나 무선통신시설을 비롯한 각종 전파이용시설로부터 방사되는 전파로 일상생활 범위에 있어서 염려하는 바와 같은 생체작용이 일어나는 일은 거의 없을 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 전파이용시설로부터 인체를 안전하게 보호하고 전파이용에 대한 공연한 오해와 불안을 방지하기 위하여 전파의 에너지 양과 생체작용과의 관계를 정량적으로 확실히 하는 일이 중요하며 이에 근거하여 전파로부터 인체를 보호하기 위한 안전기준을 제시하는 것이 요구되고 있다. 현재 미국, 일본, 독일, 영국, 캐나다 등 세계 여러 나라에서 전자파의 안전기준을 제시하고 있으나 우리나라에서는 아직 이러한 기준이 마련되어 있지 않다. 다음은 1990년 일본 (전기통신기술심의회) 에서 발표한 "전파이용에 있어서의 인체보호지침"을 발췌.요약한 것이다.

Purpose: The bone defects that are associated with shoulder anterior instability may be the causes of failure of arthroscopic surgery. For the treatment of traumatic shoulder instability, we tried to determine the arthroscopic techniques that can be used for the bone defect of the glenoid and the humeral head. The purpose of this study is to assess the surgical techniques for the arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder with anterior instability and bone defects. Materials and Methods: We analyzed the articles that have been recently published on anterior shoulder instability and we assessed the arthroscopic surgical techniques. We compared the articles and the methods of arthroscopic surgical techniques for treating bone defects of the anteroinferior glenoid and the posterolateral humeral head, which were considered as the causes of recurrence of shoulder instability. Results: There are the anteroinferior bone defects of the glenoid and Hill-Sachs lesions in the bone defects that appear in patients with anterior shoulder instability. These bone defects are currently the causes of failure of arthroscopic surgery. Conclusion: Open shoulder surgery may be the treatment of the choice for a shoulder with instability and significant bone defects of the glenoid and the humeral head. But efforts are being made to overcome the weaknesses of open surgery by the use of arthroscopy.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of aromatherapy on speech anxiety and self-esteem of elementary students. Methods: Sixty-eight elementary students were studied for one week during which they underwent lavender fragrance treatment using vaporizer. All subjects were in 4th grade of elementary school in Seoul. Before and after treatment, the severity of speech anxiety and self-esteem was evaluated by questionnaire. Results: After treatment, the score of speech anxiety had decreased significantly from 20.1 to 18.5 (p=0.000) and the score of self-esteem had increased significantly from 28.9 to 30.3(p=0.020). Conclusion: According to the study results, it can be concluded that aromatherapy showed effect on speech anxiety and self-esteem of elementary students.
