  • Recently clients requirements and social requirements are complex and large sized in construction projects. Futhermore, processes and steps are more complexed than before. Unsuitable reflection of clients brings mistaken opinions. A phase of middle change makes delay and change. It brings problems of waste expense and time. 80, first stage of planning and schematic design processes have to reflect of clients opinion actively. by increasing of constructions project competitiveness. Recently, BIM(Building Information Modeling is being researched frequently. Through visualization of information proceed step by step and it helps cognition of adapting information. 80, this paper finds and suggests solution of reflecting clients opinion and requirements and non professional clients and positively support of client participation watching based on BIM.

A Study of Mediative Function by Contract on the Relationship between Employer's Power and Contractor's Behavior (발주자 권력과 시공사 행동 관계에서 계약의 매개적 기능에 관한 연구)

  • Normally there is a one-time relationship between stakeholders in the construction projects. Thus, project participants are easily exposed to opportunistic behavior. According to the theory of transaction costs, a contract effectively influence the behavior of counter-party. The important role of contracts in limiting opponent opportunistic behavior has been academically acknowledged and studied in inter-firm relationships. The purpose of this study is to reveal the mediating effect of the contract on the power of the contractor in the contractor's behavior. Power is divided into mediated and non-mediated power. We surveyed construction companies' employees who have conducted construction projects. Based on the questionnaire response, we examined the influence of the Employer's power on the behavior of the contractor. Both non-mediated power and mediated power were significant for in-role and out-role behaviors. Both non-mediated power and mediated power were found to have a significant effect on the control and coordination function of contracts. The results show that the control function of the contract is significant for the in-role behavior and the extra-role behavior. Finally, the mediating effect of the contract function was significant only in the control function.

  • Korea has entered the ranks of advanced countries in terms of economic size and technological competitiveness. However, its industrial accident fatality rate remains among the lowest in OECD countries, and recent incidents such as various building collapses have resulted in numerous deaths of workers or citizens, reminiscent of accidents in developing countries. According to the 2022 Industrial Accident Status Analysis by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, out of the 874 fatalities in work-related accidents in 2022 across all industries, 402 were in the construction industry, accounting for approximately 46% of all fatalities. In particular, the construction industry's fatality rate stands at 1.61, significantly higher than the overall industry fatality rate of 0.43, indicating its severity. Construction ranks highest in terms of fatality rates, with mining at 12.18 and fishing at 1.80. When categorizing construction projects into private and public, private projects show significantly higher figures in terms of contracts, contract amounts, accident numbers, and fatalities compared to public projects. However, unlike public agencies, many private clients lack adequate safety and health activities and lack established safety and health systems. This study aims to raise awareness among private clients about the need to establish safety and health systems and enhance safety and health activities, and to discuss the direction of future development of advanced safety and health practices among private clients.

  • The Lean Construction is adopted from Lean Principle of Manufacturing Industry in the early of 1990, that has been providing theoretical background and good practical implementation for maximizing customers' satisfaction and improving productivity through minimizing the waste factors in the construction operations. The Last Planner System(LPS), one of the elementary techniques of Lean Construction, aims for improving the work reliability and reducing variability by measuring and managing the daily or weekly performance for overcoming the weakness of recent complex schedule management tools such as Critical Path Method. This research is propose a framework for implementation of LPS conducted by owner in plant construction.

  • This paper suggests that construction management services should be performed considering the owner's and the project's characteristics through the examples of the successful projects. For this study, the critical CM services in each phase regarding schedule management, cost management and information management are presented and the problems of the CM delivery system in Korea are analyzed with respect to policies, users, suppliers/CMrs and construction environments. Besides, the situation of the delivery systems in Korea and the differences of each delivery system are presented. It is concluded that, for the settlement of CM delivery system in public construction market and, ultimately, the successful execution as an agent of the owner, CMr should diversify the services and give the optimum CM services appropriate for each project's characteristics.

  • Project delivery systems determine the relationship, responsibility, authority and the scope of works of those involved in project, hence, optimum project delivery system should be selected to so that construction project would be executed successfully, Until now, the traditional design-bid-build mainly has been used for public projects, but the government is making efforts actively to introduce other methods such as design-build, alternative bidding by its policy. However, delivery systems should be determined through considering physical projects characteristics, owner's goals, external factors, etc, rather than government' policy. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to propose objective delivery system selection criteria and delivery system selection model, which help owners to select the suitable delivery system through quantitative and reasonable manner.

  • "대가지급"은 시공자(계약상대자)가 계약의 이행을 통해 얻고자 하는 궁극적인 목적이므로 "대가지급"과 관련된 계약조건은 발주자와 시공자 모두에게 공정하고 합리적인 내용이 되어야 할 것인데 우리나라 건설계약에 적용되고 있는 "공사계약일반조건(회계예규 2200.04-104-9, 2001.2.10)"에 규정된 "대가지급" 관련 조항의 내용은 그러한 합리성이 결여되어 있는 문제점이 있다. 대표적인 문제점으로 발주자가 대가지급을 하지 못하거나 지연시키는 경우 지급지연에 따른 이자에 대한 보상규정만을 두고 있을 뿐인데 이는 국제건설계약에 적용되고 있는 계약조건에 규정된 시공자의 권리와는 너무도 큰 차이가 있다 할 것이다. 그러므로 본 고에서는 세계건설시장에서 공정성과 합리성을 인정받고 있는 FIDIC 계약조건에 규정된 "대가지급" 관련 조항의 내용들을 구체적으로 알아보고 이를 통해 우리나라 건설계약에 적용되고 있는 계약조건의 문제점을 파악함으로써 건설제도의 선진화에 일조 하고자 한다.

  • 인쇄품질을 보증하는데 가장 중요한 것 중의 하나는 색 관리다. 색 관리는 발주자가 의도한대로 인쇄를 하기 때문에 매우 중요한 문제이지만, 인쇄를 여러 과정을 거치면서 색이 조금씩 변동됨으로써 발주자가 의도한 색과 멀어지는 경우도 있다. 최근에는 인쇄공정의 디지털화로 인해 데이터 입고에서부터 디지털화가 이루어지고 있으며, 이것에 대해서는 전 공정에서 인쇄기의 색에 기초해서 만들어진 '색 기준'에 의해 컬러매니지먼트가 필요하게 되었다. 앞으로는 어느 공정에서 색을 맞추더라도 아른 공정에서 색이 변동도지 않고, 또 '색 기준'에서의 관리를 현장만이 아니라 영업 담당자도 이해해 효율화됨으로써 영업활동을 하는 데에도 필요하게 되었다. 이에 농도계를 전반적으로 다루는 컬러관리 시스템(CMS;Color Management System)에 대한 국내 시장동향과 국내 CMS 시장 전망을 살펴보았다.

법령과 고시 - 표준하도급계약서 개정

  • 공정거래위원회(위원장 정호열)는 지난 11월 6일 표준하도급계약서를 개정하고 이날부터 시행에 들어갔다. 개정된 표준하도급계약서는 발주자의 요청에 따라 설계변경이 이루어진 경우 증가된 물량 또는 신규비목의 단가는 설계변경 당시를 기준으로 산정한 단가와 이 단가에 낙찰률을 곱한 금액을 합한 금액의 100분의 50 이내에서 당사자간 협의해 정하도록 했다. 다만, 발주자의 요청 이외의 사유로 설계변경이 이뤄진 경우에는 종전과 같이 $\Delta$증감된 공사의 단가는 수급사업자가 작성한 산출내역서 상 단가를 적용하고 $\Delta$신규비목의 단가는 설계변경 당시 기준으로 작성한 단가에 낙찰률을 곱한 금액을 적용토록 했다.
