A Study of on the design of bags applying TRIZ (트리즈를 적용한 가방 디자인 연구)

  • In this study, we wanted to apply the creative problem-solving theory of TRIZ to explore the possibilities of applying it in fashion design as well, and to develop a creative bag design so that one product design can be transformed into a form for another purpose. Through TRIZ's 4 invention principles, Local Quality No. 3, Universality No. 6, Nesting No. 7, and Another dimension No. 17, the solution was derived and applied, and the final design was developed, and it was found to satisfy the functionality and usability of 2 types of bag form and apron shape. Accordingly, it was confirmed that TRIZ as an invention principle technique can be fully utilized in fashion design. It is hoped that it will increase the possibility of developing a converged design in the future and be used as a basic example material for designing products that are highly utilized in everyday life.

An Analysis of the Trends in Academic Research on Invention Gifted Education (발명영재교육에 관한 학술연구 동향 분석)

  • This study was conducted to examine the quantitative trend of domestic studies in invention gifted education, identify the intrinsic meaning and connection attributes in these research analysis, and provide basic data to explore future development plans. To this end, 97 domestic academic papers were finally selected as "Invention Gifted Education" by the Korea Research and Information Service (RISS), technical statistical analysis was conducted with SPSS on publication year, author composition, researcher's affiliation and location area, and published journal. The trend, which had been on the rise since 2007, confirmed by academic papers on gifted education in invention, peaked at the time of the 3rd comprehensive plan for gifted education and has since declined again. As a result of technical statistical analysis of the author's characteristics, half of the papers were jointly published, followed by a number of independent authors. The papers published alone were identified as belonging to universities, research institutes, elementary schools, and middle schools, and the cooperative papers were many studies cooperated with young researchers and professional researchers, and only one collaborative study was conducted between young researchers. When looking at the regions and journals in which the Invention Gifted Education thesis was published, it was concentrated in some regions or journals, and the deviation was very large. As a result of language network analysis using academic paper keywords, creativity and programs were identified as meaningful keywords that showed top appearance, and the keyword pair with high co-appearance was invention gifted-creativity. The keyword of connection-centeredness at the top served as an intermediary for creativity, problem-solving, development, and company to expand to other research topics, and served as a research topic that could be expanded to various topics. In the case of mediation-centeredness, creativity, programs, and effects showed high mediation-centeredness, indicating that it is an important keyword that plays a role in mediating or mediating other keywords. Through these research results, national policy measures need to be prepared for the development of gifted education, and the need to create an invention ecological culture that can enhance teachers' expertise while increasing social responsibility for gifted education.

Recognition of Middle School Students about 'Problem Solving and Invention' Unit in Technology·Home Economics Subject (중학생의 기술·가정 교과 '문제 해결과 발명' 단원에 대한 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition about 'problem solving and invention' unit in technology and home-economics subject. The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The sample of this study was 397 8th middle school students. The data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed by the descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The result of this study was as follows: First, middle school students presented positive preferences toward 'problem solving and invention' unit. Second, middle school students recognized the necessity of this unit. Third, the level of difficulty for this unit of students was intermediate. Fifth, middle school students recognized that learning 'problem solving and invention' unit made them have more interest than before learning it.

  • 반데그라프 발전기는 큰 전위차를 생성하고 입자를 가속시키기 위해 발명된 정전기 발생기이다. 현재 반데그라프 발전기는 사이클로톤의 개발 이후 입자 가속 목적으로 주로 사용되고 있지는 않지만 접촉 전하 생성, 전달, 및 축적을 가능하게 하는 전하 운반 시스템에 기반하여 간단한 구조로 직류를 발생시킬 수 있는 점은 주목할만하다. 특히, 최근 경량성, 고효율 발전 등의 장점으로 에너지 하베스팅 분야에서 많은 관심을 받고 있는 마찰전기 에너지 하베스팅 기술 분야에서는 최근, 높은 에너지 저장 효율을 위해 직류 발생이 가능한 마찰전기 에너지 발전 소자에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 전하 운반 시스템을 기반으로 한 마찰 전기 직류 발전기에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어 지지 않았으며, 보고된 몇 연구에서는 저 전류, 고 임피던스 및 저효율과 같은 반데그라프 발전기의 구조적 및 물질적 한계를 극복하지 못했다. 또한 마찰에 의해 발생하는 마모에 의한 출력 감소 또한 해결되지 못한 문제이다. 따라서 뛰어난 마찰전기 특성과 함께 우수한 내마모성을 가지는 폴리머에 기반하여 기존의 한계를 극복 한 전하 운반 시스템 기반 마찰 전기 직류 발전기를 제안한다.

Model Test for the Development of Installing Manipulator of Concrete Pile Anchor (콘크리트 파일앵커의 설치 매니퓨레이터의 개발을 위한 모형실험에 관한 연구)

  • Greater holding force of an anchor is required for maintaining the position of a larger floating structure. According to the series of model tests of pile anchors with movable fluke, the square type pile anchor, with fluke, showed more than 6 times of the uplift pulling force, compared to the same type pile anchor, without fluke. This uplift force is 100 times its weight. When the water depth is more than 40m, It is difficult to install the pile anchor. For a convenient installation method, a type of manipulator is proposed for the separation of a weight and buoyancy controller, using TRIZ.

  • The university bachelor's system is based on autonomy, but due to the rigid academic structure, it is not appropriate to respond to changes in social demand. Recently, universities are pursuing diversification of their bachelor's system. With the introduction of various majors (linkage major, convergence major, autonomic major, and self-design major), efforts are being made to nurture convergence talent based on mutual linkages between major and departments. This study introduces the design and operation process of 'Global Creative Convergence Major' which the four universities of Chungcheong region promoted as a union. In particular, it derives the key elements of each step and presents the operating model and implications based on the main features. Convergence major operation model constitutes educational system (talent award, educational goal, competency factor, curriculum) through linkage between specialization areas of universities. The competency elements contain creative competence, convergence competency, problem solving competency, and global competency.

An Analysis on Problem-Finding Patterns of Well-Known Creative Scientists (잘 알려진 창의적 과학자들의 과학적 문제 발견 패턴 분석)

  • Nurturing students' scientific creativity is considered an important element in science education in Korea. The study aims to explore patterns displayed by well-known scientists in their quest for problem finding. Each case of scientists' course of problem solving is described in terms of historical background, a process of problem finding, and a process of problem solving. There are five patterns from ten scientists which are as follows: Pattern 1 is that scientists find problems from insufficiencies and/or errors from explanation of theories at the time and the related cases are A. Lavoisier, G. Mendel, and J. Watson. Pattern 2 shows that scientists find a problem because of strange phenomena unexplained by theories at the time, and here important case studies are E. Rutherford and W. R$\ddot{o}$ntgen. Pattern 3 demonstrates that scientists find a problem from analogical reasoning between known theories and unknown science phenomena. The cases include S. Carnot and T. Young. Pattern 4 points to the fact that scientists find a problem while they utilize a newly invented experimental instrument. Here, G. Galilei is an important example. Pattern 5 establishes that scientists happen to find a problem while they conduct research projects. The works of M. Faraday and J. Kepler are prominent case studies related to this pattern.

A study on the rectangular coordinate system via comparing the interrelated influence between mathematical knowledge evolution and historical development of Cartography in Europe (서양의 역사적인 지도제작법의 발달 과정과 수학적 지식의 상호 영향 관계를 통해 본 직교좌표계)

  • By comparing the development history of rectangular coordinate system in Cartography and Mathematics, we assert in this manuscript that the rectangular coordinate system is not so much related to analytic geometry but comes from the space perceiving ability inherent in human beings. We arrived at this conclusion by the followings: First, although the Cartography have much influenced to various area of Mathematics such as trigonometry, logarithm, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, and so on, which were developed or progressed around the advent of analytic geometry, the mathematical coordinate system itself had not been completely developed in using the origin or negative axis until 100 years and more had passed since Descartes' publication. Second, almost mathematicians who contributed to the invention of rectangular coordinate system had not focused their studying on rectangular coordinate system instead they used it freely on solving mathematical problem.

  • In this paper, we show how dynamic manipulation environments can be integrated in the mathematics curriculum by presenting some pedagogical tasks manufactured by dynamic manipulation. These examples are composed to produce meaningful definitions through inductive experiments, to strengthen the thinking ability on continuity through the visualization, to make mathematics through investigation and finding, and to strengthen the ability of posing and generalizing problems. Through these examples students can observe the process of how mathematics is being invented, and they can experience how to solve mathematical problems using physical experiments in dynamic manipulation environments. When integration of dynamic manipulation into the teaching and learning of mathematics is applied, some difficulties can come out. To resolve such difficulties, a teacher must play the role of a co-worker of students in addition to the role of a scaffolder, coach, or close listener.

  • Only requiring research reports or publishing articles as the final obligation of R&D activities is not sufficient to utilize and reproduce the knowledge information. Since a lot of important data have been ignored and missed by the public or private research institutions, it is not easy to manage and utilize R&D outcomes and to develope knowledge-intensive business as we expect. It is important and rather urgent matter that we should reexamine the related regulations/ laws of Intellectual Property and observe the practical problems of data utilization in real settings. This study reviewed recent studies about domestic R&D institutions, current regulations related IP, and some conflicts with the copyright, and then summarized the problems/ solutions of utilizing R&D information as knowledge assets.
