The Construction Principle and the Content Selection of the Regional Learning in the Secondary School (중등학교 지역학습의 구성원리와 내용 선정)

  • For all the region is the basic unit of geographical learning and the grounds of human activities, regional learning can't possible be carried out at the class. Because there are very few regional learning materials that are applicable to class and can be expanded to geographical basic concept. This paper aims to regulate the construction principles of regional learning and select the contents of regional learning. Firstly, the six basic concepts of geographical education be made a selection of the construction principles of regional learning: human-environment, location, region, interaction, change, scale. And then, I suggest the upper five subject that be based on the results of systematical geography. Those are the necessity and method of regional apprehension, the physical environment and the regional human-life, the resource and industrial activities. the regional life-space's formation and change, and the changing world and region. And I propose the subdivided the mid and the lower subject that be reflected the learner's need and the social demand, and could be experienced the results of geography and the everyday life. For the best regional learning, these subjects can be combined one or more in various scale.

  • 가구 분야에서는 인간공학적 원리를 가구 설계에 적용하려는 노력들이 계속되고 있으며, ISO TC159 에 맞추어 각국의 규격들도 변경하고 있다. 우리나라의 KS 규격은 1960년대 후반부터 제정되어 몇 차례 개정되어 사용되고 있다. 그러나 KS 규격은 '국민 인체 크기의 변화'와 '시장과 소비자 요구의 변화'를 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 여러 국제규격의 비교 분석을 통하여, 국민 인체 크기의 변화를 쉽게 반영할 수 있는 KS 가구 규격체계를 제시하고자 하였다.

  • We propose some properties of fuzzy p-value and fuzzy significance level to the fuzzy hypotheses testing for vague response data with reflected correlation in survey research, Appling the principle of agreement index, we suggest the methods for fuzzy hypothesis testing by fuzzy rejection region.

  • 국가 교육과정에서 컴퓨터 하드웨어만을 교과 내용으로 하는 최초의 과목은 4차 교육과정 시기 중공업 계열 고등학교에 신설된 '전자 계산기 구조' 과목으로 현재의 '컴퓨터 구조' 과목에 해당된다. 컴퓨터 구조 과목의 교과 목표는 학습자가 컴퓨터의 구조와 동작 원리를 바르게 이해하고 컴퓨터를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 교과 목표를 위해서는 교과서의 내용이 정확해야 하고 현재의 컴퓨터 구조를 바르게 반영하고 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 공업 계열 고등학교의 컴퓨터 구조 과목에 제시된 연산 장치 영역 내용의 문제점을 컴퓨터 구조 전문 서적과의 비교를 통해 파악해 보고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 교과서의 연산 장치 영역에는 정확성과 일관성이 결여된 개념 정의와 현재의 CPU 구조를 반영하지 못한 내용이 포함되어 있었다. ALU와 연산 장치에 대한 설명이 교과서별 상이하였고, 연산 장치의 구성 요소들은 현재 사용되고 있는 CPU 구조를 바르게 나타내고 있지 않았다. 이러한 문제점들은 컴퓨터 과학의 역사적, 기술적 고찰을 통해 개선될 필요가 있다.

A Study on The Improvement of Douglas-Peucker's Polyline Simplification Algorithm (Douglas-Peucker 단순화 알고리듬 개선에 관한 연구)

  • A Simple tree-structured line simplification method, which exactly follows the Douglas-Peucker algorithm, has a strength for its simplification index to be involved into the hierarchical data structures. However, the hierarchy of simplification index, which is the core in a simple tree method, may not be always guaranteed. It is validated that the local property of line features in such global approaches as Douglas-Peucker algorithm is apt to be neglected and the construction of hierarchy with no thought of locality may entangle the hierarchy. This study designed a new approach, CALS(Convex hull Applied Line Simplification), a) to search critical points of line feature with convex hull search technique, b) to construct the hierarchical data structure based on these critical points, c) to simplify the line feature using multiple trees. CALS improved the spatial accuracy as compared with a simple tree method. Especially CALS was excellent in case of line features having the great extent of sinuosity.

  • In this paper I investigated the historical developments of the algorithms for multiplication of natural numbers. Through this analysis I tried to describe more concretely what is to understand the common algorithm for multiplication of natural numbers. I found that decomposing dividends and divisors into small numbers and multiplying these numbers is the main strategy for carrying out multiplication of large numbers, and two decomposing and multiplying processes are very important in the algorithms for multiplication. Finally I proposed some implications based on these analysis.

  • In this paper, We have developed the evaluation standards for web coursewares which can properly reflected each class-type teaching and learning theories, type of learning and characteristics of learners. We proved the proper of content, reliability and objectivity. Also, We have designed and developed the evaluation tool which runs on the web. The evaluation tools for the web coursewares developed in this paper presents the direction and standard to develop the web coursewares. Also, it will help learners to choose the web coursewares, because the evaluation results for web courseware notify on the web.

A Statistically Model-Based Adaptive Technique to Unsupervised Segmentation of MR Images (자기공명영상의 비지도 분할을 위한 통계적 모델기반 적응적 방법)

  • We present a novel statistically adaptive method using the Minimum Description Length(MDL) principle for unsupervised segmentation of magnetic resonance(MR) images. In the method, Markov random filed(MRF) modeling of tissue region accounts for random noise. Intensity measurements on the local region defined by a window are modeled by a finite Gaussian mixture, which accounts for image inhomogeneities. The segmentation algorithm is based on an iterative conditional modes(ICM) algorithm, approximately finds maximum ${\alpha}$ posteriori(MAP) estimation, and estimates model parameters on the local region. The size of the window for parameter estimation and segmentation is estimated from the image using the MDL principle. In the experiments, the technique well reflected image characteristic of the local region and showed better results than conventional methods in segmentation of MR images with inhomogeneities, especially.

Teaching Addition and Subtraction with Reduction in Elementary Mathematics Textbooks (수학 교과서에 나타난 계산 지도 방법의 변화 - 두 자리 수의 덧셈과 뺄셈)

  • Although methods about teaching basic principles and skills of addition and subtraction is long traditional, view points of interpreting those algorithms and ways of introducing those calculating skills are various according to textbooks at each historical stage of elementary mathematics curriculum development in Korea. The 1st and 2nd stage shows didactic transpositions less systemic. In the 3rd and 4th stage, didactic devices, which were influenced by the new math, for help of understanding the principles of addition and subtraction muchly depends on mathematical and logical mechanism rather than psychological and intellectual structure of students who learn those algorithms. Relatively compromising and stable forms appear in the 5th and 6th stages. Didactic transpositions in the 7th stage focus on the formation of mathematical concepts by exploration activities rather than on the presentation of mathematical contents by text. Anyone who wishes to design an elementary mathematics textbooks based upon the constructive view should consider the suggestions derived from such transition.

Approximate Approaches in Chinese and Chosun Mathematics (중국 및 조선 수학에서의 근사적 접근)

  • Approximation is a very useful approach in mathematics research. It was the same in traditional Chinese and Chosun mathematics. This study derived five characteristics from approximation approaches which were found in Chinese and Chosun mathematical books: improvement of approximate values, common and inevitable use of approximate values, recognition of approximate values and their reasons, comparison of their exactness, application of approximate principles. Through these characteristics, we can infer what Chinese and Chosun mathematicians recognized approximate values and how they manipulated them. They took approximate approaches by necessity or for the sake of convenience in mathematical study and its applications. Also, they tried to improve the degree of exactness of approximate values and use the inverse calculations to check them.
