The Social-Spatial Relationship between Jeongeup Julpungryu and Daepungryu (정읍 줄풍류와 대풍류의 사회적·공간적 연관성)

  • Jeongeup Pungnyu, which can be regarded as a foundation of Hyangje Julpungryu(;string ensemble in Honam Area) best reflects social-spatial characteristics of local Pungryu culture. The close relationship between Daepungryu(wind ensemble) and Julpungryu can be inferred from three points of view. First, Jeongeumun who participated as a musician in the beginning of Hyangje Julpungryu was good at not only performing musical instrument but also dancing. Jeongeumun did not stay in specific musical field. He performed Hyangje Julpungryu, made Daepungryu and used it as dancing music with musicians that participated in Julpungryu. That is why Julpungryu and Daepungryu are not completely separated music. Secondly, according to , Jung Hyungin, who followed the dance of Jeong Jae-Sun with Kim So-Ran, was the first Piri player who learned from Jeongeumun and played Yeongsanhoesang and Samhyeon-yukkak(;wind ensemble). That is, Jeongeup Julpungryu was formed by Jeongeumun and dancer Jung Hyung-in followed Julpungryu and Daepungryu. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that Jeongeup's Daepungryu is fundamentally closely related to Jungeup Julpungryu.

Asymmetric Timeliness of Market Information According to Corporate Losses and Earnings (기업의 손실과 이익에 따른 시장정보의 비대칭적 적시성)

  • This study investigates the sensitivity reflected in the accounting earnings differs according to the difference in the characteristics of accounting information such as profit and loss for the same market information. For this, market information and accounting data were analyzed for 11,462 non-financial listed companies listed on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets from 2012 to 2020 by using Basu's measurement of conditional conservatism and Ball and Shivakumar's measurement of conservatism. Accounting earnings sensitivity was analyzed according to the combination of information. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that both earnings and losses corporates recognize losses with delay, while losses are recognized quickly by loss corporates and delayed recognition by earnings companies. It was confirmed that more strict conservatism was applied to the losses corporates compared to the earnings corporates by delaying the recognition of earnings while the early recognition of the losses. It provides empirical data on the causality between the asymmetric timeliness and the combined effect of market information and accounting information by verifying that the losses corporates responds sensitively to market information while the earnings corporates does not react sensitively to the market information.

Estimation of Displacements Using Artificial Intelligence Considering Spatial Correlation of Structural Shape (구조형상 공간상관을 고려한 인공지능 기반 변위 추정)

  • An artificial intelligence (AI) method based on image deep learning is proposed to predict the entire displacement shape of a structure using the feature of partial displacements. The performance of the method was investigated through a structural test of a steel frame. An image-to-image regression (I2IR) training method was developed based on the U-Net layer for image recognition. In the I2IR method, the U-Net is modified to generate images of entire displacement shapes when images of partial displacement shapes of structures are input to the AI network. Furthermore, the training of displacements combined with the location feature was developed so that nodal displacement values with corresponding nodal coordinates could be used in AI training. The proposed training methods can consider correlations between nodal displacements in 3D space, and the accuracy of displacement predictions is improved compared with artificial neural network training methods. Displacements of the steel frame were predicted during the structural tests using the proposed methods and compared with 3D scanning data of displacement shapes. The results show that the proposed AI prediction properly follows the measured displacements using 3D scanning.

Estimate on the Self-Weight Consolidation of Dredging Coarse Soil with Segregating Sedimentation Properties (분리퇴적특성을 고려한 조립준설토의 자중압밀 침하량 평가)

  • In general, the dredged ground was composed of a big difference of sediment shape through segregating sedimentary of finer soil in case of reclaiming by dredged coarse soils. Therefore, this study was performed to evaluate the change of settling velocity of flow, and the density of sedimentary which is based on settling tests and self-weight consolidation tests, and consolidation test by seepage force according to the percentage of coarse of Kunsan dredge soils. The Yano's method has been applied to estimate the settlement of self-weight consolidation in finer soils at design but it only considers pouring water content and elevation of interface, therefore the other method needs to be introduced for the exact prediction of the settlement of coarse soil in which the segregation sedimentation is occurring. In this study, the settlement of self-weight consolidation was calculated by the change of the density of segregating sedimentary of coarse and finer soils which was analyzed by Yano's method to extend a serious of researches. The self-weight consolidation by Yano's method will not reflect the segregated settling in dredging coarse soil under 40% of #200 passing percentage. As a result, the evaluation technique of settlement of self-weight consolidation considering a change of the density of segregating sedimentary is suggested as a reasonable method that considers the sediment shape of coarse soil.

Lateral Behavior of Driven Piles Subjected to Cyclic Lateral Loads in Sand (모래지반에서 반복수평하중을 받는 항타 말뚝의 수평거동)

  • The behavior of laterally cyclic loaded piles is different from that of piles under monotonic loading and depends on soil and load characteristics. In this study, model pile load tests were performed using a calibration chamber to investigate the effects of load characteristics on the behavior of laterally cyclic loaded piles in sand. Results of the model tests show that the ultimate lateral load capacity of laterally cyclic loaded piles decreases linearly with increasing the number of cycles and increases slightly with increasing the magnitude of cyclic lateral loads. When the piles reach the ultimate state, the maximum bending moment developed in the piles decreases linearly with increasing the number of cycles and it occurs at a depth of 0.36 times pile embedded length for all the number of cycles. However, both the magnitude and depth of the maximum bending moment of piles in the ultimate state increase slightly as the magnitude of cyclic lateral loads increases. It is also observed that the cyclic lateral loading generates a decrease in the ultimate lateral load capacity and maximum bending moment for piles in the ultimate state. In addition, based on the model test results, a new empirical equation for the ultimate lateral load capacity of laterally cyclic loaded piles in dense sand is also proposed. A comparison between predicted and measured load capacities shows that the proposed equation reflects satisfactorily the model test results.

Development of Time-Cost Trade-Off Algorithm for JIT System of Prefabricated Girder Bridges (Nodular GIrder) (프리팹 교량 거더 (노듈러 거더)의 적시 시공을 위한 공기-비용 알고리즘 개발)

  • In the case of the construction industry, the relationship between process and cost should be appropriately distributed so that the finished product can be delivered at the minimum fee within the construction period. At that time, it should be considered the size of the bridge, the construction method, the environment and production capacity of the factory, and the transport distance. However, due to various reasons that occur during the construction period, problems such as construction delay, construction cost increase, and quality and reliability degradation occur. Therefore, a systematic and scientific construction technique and process management technology are needed to break away from the conventional method. The prefab(Pre-Fabrication) is a representative OSC (Off-Site Construction) method manufactured in a factory and constructed onsite. This study develops a resource and process plan optimization system for the process management of the Nodular girder, a prefab bridge girder. A simulation algorithm develops to automatically test various variables in the personnel equipment mobilization plan to derive the optimal value. And, the algorithm was applied to the Paju-Pocheon Expressway Construction (Section 3) Dohwa 4 Bridge under construction, and the results compare. Based on construction work standard product calculation, actual input manpower, equipment type, and quantity were applied to the Activity Card, and the amount of work by quantity counting, resource planning, and resource requirements was reflected. In the future, we plan to improve the accuracy of the program by applying forecasting techniques including various field data.

Analysis of the Terms "Risk" and "Danger" for Appropriate Application of COLREGs and Proposal for Amending Maritime Safety Act of Korea (국제해상충돌예방규칙의 올바른 적용을 위한 '위험'과 '위험성'에 대한 용어 분석 및 해사안전법 개정 제안)

  • The Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 (COLREGs) was adopted to prevent ships from colliding with other ships or any object such as the seabed. COLREGs have been codified and refined since the mid-19th century, and have reached the present. Therefore, the terms and sentences used in COLREGs also have distinct academic and legal connotations. However, in the Maritime Safety Act of the Republic of Korea, which translated COLREGs into domestic law, the "risk of collision" and the "danger of collision" was used in the law without distinguishing their meanings. Accordingly, the difference between "risk" and "danger" was analyzed with reference to the definition of risk by an authoritative international organization of the United Nations such as the International Maritime Organization and the International Organization for Standardization as a well-known and authoritative non governmental organization. In addition, the cases codified in COLREGs and translated cases in the Maritime Safety Act were analyzed to highlight the need for amending the Maritime Safety Act. From the perspective of safe navigation, it is expected that the Maritime Safety Act in the future would distinguish between "danger" and "risk" so that the efforts of watch officers to prevent collisions could be further systematized.

(A) Study on the Priority Selection for business development of the Defense Education and Training System Based on Virtual Reality (가상현실 기반 국방 교육훈련체계 사업화 우선순위 선정에 관한 연구)

  • In order for the military to review the introduction of virtual reality technology into various education and training systems and fully utilize it, it is important to reflect the characteristics of the technology and education system and to accurately identify and selectively apply the characteristics of commercialization. In this study, the evaluation criteria were selected through the Analitic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for factors to be considered when commercializing a virtual reality-based education and training system, and the priorities of the projects were determined. Based on previous studies, an initial AHP model was constructed and the relative importance of six factors, including reality, was analyzed as the level 1 evaluation criteria. Next, for Level 2, each evaluation criterion was evaluated to confirm the importance of each of the 11 tasks in the six evaluation criteria, and priorities were selected for each task. As a result of the analysis, level 1 showed that reality and ripple had higher importance than other factors. As a result of evaluating the final relative importance, the priority was shown in the order of ① flight training, ② disaster training, ③ shooting Training, and ④ driving a vehicle. Based on the relative priorities determined in Levels 1 and 2 of the model presented in this study, the importance of each project necessary for final decision-making of the research priorities for the defense virtual reality project was presented. It is expected that this study can be used as a reference material for prioritizing the commercialization of education and training systems in the defense sector.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Emotional Communication According to Types of Emoticon - Focusing on the Differences in Gender and Major of the Receiver - (이모티콘 유형에 따른 감정소통의 효과성 연구 - 수신자의 성별 및 전공계열별 차이를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the most effective emoticon type in on-line communication context through analysis decoding(by their interpretation, empathy, reaction) of receiver about emotional message included the various emoticon types. Message types were all 5 - only text message and messages included texticon, graphicon, anicon, and photocon that reflected the transitional process of emoticon. Survey questionnaire that included various emotional situations was developed and utilized to undergraduate students to analyze the differences in their gender and majors. Results are as follow. First, the graphicon, anicon and photocon messages had higher effectiveness than others in the pleasure while the text only message had the highest effectiveness of them in the displeasure. Second, female students responded that the graphicon, anicon and photocon messages were more effective while male students responded that text only message was. Third, between Arts/Physical and Science/Engineering majors had significant differences in some message types, and especially Science/Engineering majors showed higher average than other majors in all of the emoticon types. These results can provide the information to design messages by the emotional situation of sender and gender and major of receiver.

Evaluation of Management Plan for Water Quality Improvement of Hoengseong Dam (횡성댐 유역 수질개선을 위한 관리방안 평가)

  • 원주시를 비롯한 남한강 지류인 섬강의 중·하류 지역에서의 물 부족 및 수해를 방지를 위하여 남한강 지류인 섬강 유역에 횡성댐이 건설되었다. 그러나 상수원으로 이용되는 타 댐에 비해 횡성댐의 최근 5년간 TOC와 BOD5의 평균 농도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 횡성댐 유역의 수질 오염은 원주시와 횡성군의 식수원인 횡성호의 수질에도 악영향을 미치게 되어 이에 대한 개선책이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 횡성댐 유역의 주요 유입하천을 대상으로 오염원 현황을 파악하고 홍수기 유량·수질 모니터링을 통한 오염원 특성 및 기여도를 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 SWAT 모형을 구축한 후 횡성댐 유역 내 주요 우심하천인 구사천과 횡성댐 말단 지역에 대해 적용 가능한 총 5가지의 수질개선 대책 시나리오를 구성하여 유역 모델링을 통한 전체유황, 홍·풍·평수기, 저·갈수기 수질 오염 저감 효과를 분석하였으며, 추가적인 수질개선 대책으로 지역적 특성을 반영하여 오염원별 다양한 관리대책을 제시하였다. 우심하천인 구사천의 경우 마을하수도 설치에 대한 오염부하 저감 효과와 벌목에 대한 오염부하 영향에 대한 시나리오를 모델 내 적용하여 분석하였다. 또한 횡성댐 유역 말단에 대해 비가림시설 및 유출방지턱 설치에 따른 오염부하 저감 효과, 표준시비량 적용 및 농업BMPs(물꼬관리, 완효성비료, 볏짚피복, 초생대)에 따른 오염부하 저감 효과를 분석하였다. 시나리오별 수질개선 효과를 분석한 결과, BOD5는 최소 0.1 ~ 11.6%의 수질개선 효과가 있었으며, T-N은 0.1 ~ 22.3%, T-P는 0.1 ~ 31.8%, TOC는 0.1 ~ 3.8%의 수질개선 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 각 수질항목별 시나리오를 분석한 결과, 비가림시설 및 유출방지턱과 축산분뇨 위탁처리 시나리오, 경작지 표준 시비량 시비 및 농업 최적관리 적용 시나리오의 오염원 저감 효율이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 본 연구에서 제시한 오염저감 시나리오와 수질개선 대책 등을 통해 도출된 결과는 횡성댐 유역의 수질 개선을 위한 대책 수립에 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 판단되나, 횡성호 상류유역의 수질개선만 고려했기 때문에 호소 내 수질관리에 대한 후속 연구가 추가적으로 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
