The Study for the Development of Physical Standard and State of Nutrition of a Deaf & Dumb School Boys & Girls (농아학원생(聾啞學院生)의 영양상태(營養狀態)와 체위발달도(體位發達度)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • Comparing the amount of Hb, the nutriture of the deaf-mutes are better than that of the amentias and the nursery school children. The former, however, shows less condition than that of the boys and girls in the junior physical education school (Hb : 12.7) and the normal family children (Hb : 10.8). In the group of six to eleven years old that is a class a elementary school, the physical condition such as stature, chest circumference, and weight of the deaf -mute is respectively almost the same degree, which is above standard in our country. On the contrary the degree of the amentias and the nursery school children has an inferiority approaching to the standard. In the group of twelve to fifteen years old that is a class of junior high school, the nursery school children have the lowest physical condition and the boys and girls of the physical training school the highest.   • It is the key component that motor block system affect safety and performance of railway. It is very important to examine the performance of motor block for improvement of safety and reliability of rolling stock. As such, the motor block is an essential part of rolling stock. But provisioning quantities and spare quantities depend on the operator' experience. There are many problems that occur lots of spare or lack of spare. If there are lots of spare, it is difficult to keep the circumstance by cost issues. On the contrary, if there are lack of spare, it may have a adverse effect on the whole railway. Thus, this study offers method to estimate optimal spare of motor block using the analysis of data related with Failure rate, MTBF, standards and guidelines. And we expect this study to contribute to determine optimal spare parts.

Correlation Analysis between Safety Education and Human Error by Construction Workers (안전교육과 건설근로자 휴먼에러 상관관계 분석)

  • The construction projects are larger and more complex, and so the construction accidents are bigger. Recently, the studies for reducing the human errors are researched to decrease the construction accidents. The purpose of this study is to analysis a correlation between the safety education and human errors by construction workers. The results showed that the frequencies of safety education in large sized construction projects are more than these in small sized construction projects. However, all of construction projects conduct lower times of safety education than the regulated times. In addition, it is revealed that the human errors of construction workers in large sized construction projects are being lower in accordance with increasing the safety education times. In small sized construction projects, however, the human errors of construction workers are increasing according to more times of safety education, reversely. This study should help to reduce the accidents in construction projects.

진공조건에 따른 Parylene 코팅박막의 투명도 평가

  • Parylene 코팅은 다결정인 고분자 유기물에 열을 가하여 기화시켜 진공상태에서 피사체를 코팅하는 것으로 마이크로 두께 단위의 유전체 증착하는 것이다. Parylene 코팅은 주로 Display를 비롯한 태양전지, 반도체 등에서 다양한 산업분야에서 이용되며, 이 때 외부로부터 침투하는 수분을 방지하고, 전기적 절연 및 불순물로부터 피사체를 보호하여 기계적인 안정성을 목적으로 사용된다. Display와 태양전지는 빛을 이용하는 분야로써 Parylene을 투과하여 들어오는 빛의 전달효율에 따른 영향이 크게 고려되어진다. 빛의 전달효율을 높이기 위해서는 Parylene의 높은 투명도가 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 Parylene 코팅 박막의 투명도 상승을 위해 증착 시 다양한 진공조건으로 실험을 진행하였다. Parylene 코팅 시, 진공도에 따른 투명도를 평가하기 위해 Substrate로는(100%)투과율을 가지는 재질의 glass를 이용하였다. Parylene 종류로는 반도체분야에 주로 이용되는 C-type의 Parylene Polymer 사용하였다. 증착 조건으로는 $7{\sim}8{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr, $4{\sim}6{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr, $2{\sim}3{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr의 각각 다른 진공 조건에서 120분간 증착시켜 Parylene 코팅막을 형성하였다. 또한 높은 투습방지력을 가짐과 동시에 고투명도 유지에 대해 신뢰성평가를 하기위해 각 조건별로 1회, 3회, 5회 반복 증착하였다. 제작된 각 시편의 투명도 측정을 위해 광도계(DX-100, TAKEMURA)를 이용하여 빛의 투과율을 관찰하였다. 그 결과 진공도 $2{\sim}3{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr, $4{\sim}6{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr, $7{\sim}8{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr순의 시편이 높은 투과율을 나타내었으며, 그 중 $2{\sim}3{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr의 1회 증착 한 시편이(97%)로 가장 높은 투과율을 나타내었다. 반대로 $7{\sim}8{\times}10^{-2}$ Torr의 5회 증착 한 시편이(78%)로 가장 낮은 투과율을 보였다. 따라서 진공도가 높을수록 투명도가 상승하며, 증착횟수가 늘어날수록 투명도가 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과로 Parylene 코팅의 진공도에 따른 투명도를 평가함으로써 Parylene 코팅 증착조건 최적화를 위한 기초자료로 이용될 것이라 사료된다. 또한 후속 연구로써 substrate의 온도조절과 시료량의 조절이 이루어진다면 좀 더 효율적으로 최적화된 박막형성이 가능할 것이라 판단된다.

한국경기순환(韓國景氣循環)의 특징(特徵)과 양태(樣態): 역사적(歷史的) 고찰(考察)

  • 본고(本稿)는 6.25전쟁(戰爭)이후 한국경제(韓國經濟)가 겪은 아홉번의 경기순환(景氣循環)으로부터 순환(循環)의 특징(特徵)과 양태(樣態)를 정리한 것이다. 경기순환(景氣循環)의 특징은 경기순환(景氣循環)의 지속기간(持續期間), 순환심도(循環深度), 변동성(變動性), 공행성(共行性) 및 시차성(時差性), 해외경기순환(悔外景氣循環)과의 관계(關係) 등 여섯가지 면에서 살펴보였으며, 순환양태(循環樣態)는 순환기별(循環期別)로 정리하였다. 우리 경제를 순환기별(循環期別)로 살펴볼 때 경우에 따라서는 경기과열(景氣過熱)을 식히기 위해 실시한 정책이 세계경제여건의 악화와 맞물려 경기(景氣)를 급냉(急冷)시킨 시기도 있었으며, 반대로 경기침체기(景氣沈滯期)에 도입한 내수부양정책(內需浮揚政策)에 기대와는 달리 경기(景氣)를 급격히 과열시켜 단기간내에 물가(物價)를 급등시키고 국제수지(國際收支)를 악화시킨 경우도 있었다. 경기조절(景氣調節)을 위해 실시한 정책이 자칫하면 서다가다(stop-go)를 반복하여 국민경제에 오히려 부담을 줄 가능성이 있기 때문에 정책결정자(政策決定者)는 항상 경기조절(景氣調節)을 위한 최적(最適)의 정책(政策)을 선택해야 하는 부담을 안고 있다. 특히 석유파동(石油波動)이나 UR타결과 같은 세계경제질서(世界經濟秩序)의 변동이 발생한 경우에는 가급적이면 그 충격(衝擊)이 경제에 서서히 흡수되도록 적절한 정책(政策)을 구사해야 한다. 경기정책(景氣政策)은 장기성장(長期成長)을 제고(提高)시키는 방향으로 전전되어야 하기 때문에 정책(政策)의 선택은 매우 산중하제 결정될 수밖에 없다. 또한 1953년 이후 지금까지 겪은 아홉번의 경기순환(景氣循環)과 각종 경기대책(景氣對策)의 실시 경험으로부터 정부(政府)는 추후 경기조절정책(景氣調節政策)의 시행과정에서 불가피하게 야기되는 문제점을 극소화하고, 정책목표 달성의 효율성(效率性)을 제고(提高)하기 위해서 민간(民間)에 대한 대정부(對政府) 신뢰성(信賴性)을 쌓아 나가야 할 것이다.

Study on the Feasibility of High-Temperature Immersion Ultrasonic Sensor with a Strip Waveguide (도파띠를 이용한 고온 액침 초음파센서의 가능성 연구)

  • Exertion has been made to develop high-temperature (about $250{\sim}650^{\circ}C$) immersion ultrasonic sensor for the visualization of objects, temperature measurement, dimensional check, or nondestructive testing of welds under liquid sodium. In this study, the feasibility of the ultrasonic sensor taking advantage of a strip waveguide was confirmed by water-experiment. The lowest order of antisymmetric Lamb wave was used in the frequency range with negligible dispersion. This plate wave was excited in the stainless steel strip waveguide of 1.0mm thickness and 13mm width by the comb-structure transducer of 2.3MHz frequency. Its attenuation coefficient was 1.2dB/m in air and 380dB/m in water. The signal to noise ratio of 25dB was obtained from a planar reflector 270mm away from the beam aperture of $13mm{\times}39mm$ size.

  • In Korea, a lot of people think that the more students spend time in playing game, the more students get their grade lower. So that, parents of students don't want their children play games. But there are few research about the relationship between the playing time of game and a grade of students. Therefore, this research would find the relationship between the playing time of game and students' grade. In result, there is no relationship between the game playing time of a students and the student's grade. A game addict who play game a lot of time a day could have lower grade. But for normal user of game, there is no relationship between the game playing time and the grade.

  • There are many methods for Human-Computer Interface. Recently, many researchers are studying about Brain-Signal this is because not only the disabled can use a computer by their thought without their limbs but also it is convenient to general people. But, studies about it are early stages. This paper proposes an EEG signals measurement and analysis methods for Brain-Computer Interface. Our purpose of this research is recognition of subject's intention when they imagine moving their arms. EEG signals are recorded during imaginary movement of subject's arms at electrode positions Fp1, Fp2, C3, C4. We made an analysis ERS(Event-Related Synchronization) and ERD(Event-Related Desynchronization) which are detected when people move their limbs in the ${\mu}$ waves and ${\beta}$ waves. Results of this research showed that ${\mu}$ waves are decreased and ${\beta}$ waves are increased at left brain during the imaginary movement of right hand. In contrast, ${\mu}$ waves are decreased and ${\beta}$ waves are increased at right brain during the imaginary movement of left hand.

Nitrogen adsorption on the stepped planes of tungsten: II. W(210) and W(310) plane (계단형 텅스텐 결정면의 질소 흡착에 관한 연구: II. W(210) 및 W(310)면)

  • The heat of desorption and the work function change induced by nitrogen adsorption on the slepped tungstein surface plants, W(210) and W(310), are measured using the Field Electron Emission Microscope(FEM). The adsoption sites are predicted from the Thermal Desortion Spectra(TDS). The wirk function change of both W(210) and W(310) planes increase as increasing the nitrogen dose and saturates at the nitrogen dose about 5 Langmuir to 0.29 eV and 0.20 eV respectively. We find three adsorption site on each plane for the low dose range. The TDS result shows that the intensity of $\alpha_1$ state on W(310) is much stronger than that of $\alpha_1$ state on W(210), and the direction of nitrogen dipole moment adsorbed on the sites correspond to $\alpha_1$ and $\beta_2$ state on W(210) and W(310) planes are in the opposite direction to that of the equivalent states on W(100) plane. From this observation we can predict the relative atomic position in the z-direction (perpendicular direction to the surface) of nitrogen molecules/atoms adsorbed on these sites.

Colorless and Transparent Polyimide Films from Poly(amic acid)s with Cross-linkable Anhydride End (가교 반응이 가능한 말단 무수물을 이용한 무색투명한 폴리이미드 필름)

  • Crosslinked PI films were synthesized from 4,4'-(hexafluoro isopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA) and bis[4-(3-aminophenoxy) phenyl] sulfone(BAPS) with various ratios of the reactive monomer cis-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxylic anhydride(CDBA). We prepared crosslinked poly(amic acid) (PAA) using a 0.1 wt% Grubbs catalyst as a crosslinking agent. The crosslinked PAA was heat-treated at different temperatures to give PI films. The thermo-mechanical properties and optical transparency of the PI films were investigated. The thermal properties of the PI films were examined using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), thermo-mechanical analysis(TMA), and universal tensile machine(UTM), and their optical transparencies were investigated using UV-vis. spectrophotometry. The thermomechanical properties of the PI films improved with increasing CDBA content. However, the optical transparency of the PI films decreased slightly with increasing CDBA content.
