  • Taxidermied specimen is the art of preparing, stuffing, and mounting the skins of animals (all vertebrate species of animals including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fishes) for display or for other sources of study. But, as these studies are weighted toward ecologic study, related studies on management and conservation environment are short. Also, the analysis of poisonous gas has not yet been studied. Therefore, this study will be suggested proper preservation methods through the analysis of deterioration on taxidermied specimen by poisonous gas. As a result, 4 types of major chemicals were detected in UV deterioration test, 7 types in RH and formaldehyde deterioration test. As a result of SPME, Naphthalene to be used as antiseptic were detected in all of the test conditions. Acetic acid that is VOCs were detected for factor. Moreover as the higher humidity it was, the concentration of chemicals were decreased.

  • As COVID-19 made it difficult to travel abroad and attract domestic tourists to foreigners, the phenomenon of MZ generations flocking to Jeju through consumption patterns occurred. In this study, if Jeju Island uses Jeju's rural tourism and smart glasses to study how to attract and cope with domestic tourists after the pandemic and build a mobile application or smart glass to tour based on village maps, the docent guide service through smart glasses will help tourists. Furthermore, it would be very beneficial to introduce a location-based service to provide the necessary information at the location according to the movement path of tourists. In fact, we conclude that it can be implemented through the development of the Hansung Baekje Museum, and hope that the actual media can be applied to free tourist courses such as Jeju Olle Trail, as it provides various contents in selective development such as AR and VR.

  • Conservation measures for excavated and surveyed buried cultural heritages are decided by the administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration according to their scientific and historic values. However, management, preservation, and use after relocation and restoration remain unsystematic. An issue regarding preservation plan and use has arisen due to the damage of preserved heritages and protective facilities. Thus, this study aims to suggest a plan for preservation and use by investigating the present conditions of the preserved heritages in the Chungbuk area. Results showed that there are 43 preserved heritages in Chungbuk, most of which remain unmanaged systematically irrespective of the managing body. Remainder and protective facilities have been damaged due to wrong preservation treatments and selection of materials, and a problem also rises in terms of utilization, such as exhibition, education, and experience of preserved heritages. To improve such problems, a medium and long-term plan shall be established for the improvement of legal and institutional instruments, securing of budget, increase in professional manpower, development of standardization and inspection manuals, continuous monitoring, preventive preservation, research on relocation methods and materials, listing, and the creation of specialized museum and complex theme park. If a preservation plan suited to the investigated heritages can be developed, heritages can be preserved and managed more systematically and scientifically, and be used for various purposes like education, exhibition, public relations, etc.

  • This paper explores the research trends in the area of the comics studies in Korea. In this article, the 664 academic articles are examined in terms of the characteristics of the researchers, the field of comics studies, the research theme and the research methodology. This study is on the basis of the recognition that there have been no consensus on what the core essence of comics studies is. As a result, there are a few articles on the academic identity of the comics studies. The comics studies have not consider the distinctive characteristics of the Korean comics significantly. In Korea, over 50% of the academic articles on the comics have been published by comics scholarships in the field of pedagogy and human sciences. Since the 1990's, comics studies have started to consider the value of the comics positively. The comics text studies also have increased since the 1990's in Korea. The comics studies on the comics policy and comics industries have been increased since 2000. The rise of comics studies is concomitant with the increased awareness of comics in Korea. The article concludes that the comics studies need to become an independent academic discipline in the future. The interdisciplinary studies on the comics is necessary to study the diverse aspects of the comics. In addition, the infrastructure for the comics studies should be established in order to improve the comics studies.

In the way of the process to globalization, this reactivation project for Art &Culture Content Space in Yeongwol should go on the base of regional culture background as a mean of glocalization paradigm strategically. Ahead of developing model for globalization in macroscopic view point, we have to research the demend of reginal situation of cultural content and build up its own strength points. Because Art & Culture Content Space in Yeongwol is the place of people in Yeongwol directly as itself. And managing plans of reactivation of art & culture content space in Yeongwol should build up with diversity of culture and environmental circumstances.

  • Woo-Suk Hwang Jong-Ha(友石, 黃宗河 1887-1952), Woo-Chung Hwang Sung-Ha (又淸, 黃成河, 1891-1965), Gook-In Hwang Kyung-Ha (菊人, 黃敬河, 1895-?) and Mi-San Hwang Yong-Ha(美山 黃庸河, 1899-?) were not only renowned writers and painters but also brothers spaced four years apart The Hwang brothers were not specially trained by educational institutions, but studied on their own, relying on picture books from China and the artpieces of masters. Even though brothers each born only four years from the next, they preferred different techniques, and the subjects they were proficient at drawing were all different to some extent: Tiger Painting by Hwang Jong-Ha, Finger Painting by Hwang Sung-Ha, Ginseng Painting by Hwang Kyung-Ha and Painting of Four Gracious Plants (plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, bamboo) by Hwang Yong-Ha are an example of this. They also showed differences in their manner of holding various exhibitions. They did, however, forge strong familial ties by holding the Exhibition by Four Brothers or by producing joint paintings. In particular, they established an art school called the Song-Do Society for the Research of Writings and Paintings in Gaesung, North Korea as a means to nurture young artists and to offer opportunities to introduce their own artwork. They were both friends and artists, as they spent their childhood together and share their thoughts and hobbies as well as their own individual and unique works of art. Moreover, they went the through ups and downs of Korean history from the end of the Joseon Dynasty through the Japanese occupation however, they strove to keep the tradition of Korean paintings alive, and even persevered in writing and drawing countless artwork with paper, brush and Chinese ink until the day they each died.
