"Manggaedduk" produced specially in Uiryeong province, Gyeongnam, Korea is manufactured by traditional method using rice powder, sweet azuki bean paste, and leaves of Smilax china (called as Manggae-leaf). Moisture content of leaves did not show significant differences bay salt and purified salt treatment. The content was lower as the salt concentration increased. Shear force was higher in leaf salted with purified salt at room temperature than that salted with bay salt. On the other hands, the force was more higher in the leaves salted with bay salt at low temperature ($4^{\circ}C$). The shear force was higher as the concentration of both salts used for salting solution increased. As storage period was extended, shear force of salted leaf was weakened. Whiteness (L) and yellowness (b) of leaves stored at room temperature were higher than those stored at $4^{\circ}C$, although the redness (a) of Hunter value was not significantly different between storage temperatures. Salt concentration influenced lightness and yellowness, color of salted leaves stored at $4^{\circ}C$ resulted in enhanced greenness as compared to the leaves stored at room temperature. Thus, this study investigated the optimal storage conditions, salting conditions and storage temperatures of Smilax china leaves.

Since Fukushima nuclear disaster occurred in 2011, the nuclear energy policy of the international society has been in recession. However, In Korea, the nuclear-friendly policy had remained and even expanded over the last 60 years until the Park Geun-hye government. In other words, there was the path dependence of nuclear energy policy. Since the Moon Jae-in government that pledged to perform nuclear phase-out policy in 2017 was inaugurated, the nuclear-friendly policy began to swerve from the course of path dependence. Based on the mai logic of historical institutionalism, this study looked into the change of Korean nuclear policy by before and after the Fukushima nuclear accident. As the result of this research, the external situation of Fukushima Nuclear Accident became a critical turning point and led to a change in the government's policy on nuclear power. From an institutional perspective, it influenced the paradigm of nuclear power policy, policy decision structure, and laws of nuclear power. From a doer's perspective, it influenced political idea and social acceptability. Since Moon Jae-in government was inaugurated in 2017, nuclear phase-out policy has secured its institutional foundation and nuclear power policy has basically changed from nuclear-friendly policy to nuclear phase-out policy. Therefore, the energy policy of Moon Jae-in government gets out of the nuclear power based path dependency that previous governments pursued, keeps punctuated equilibrium, and changes to renewable energy oriented policy.

This study quantitatively analyzed the speeches of the former 8 Presidents of the Republic of Korea. Unlike the previous studies, this study analyzed both the content word and the functional word related to the psychological phenomenon. In Study 1, six language style indicators such as clout, authenticity, presidentiality, cognitive complexity, femininity, and psychological health were developed. Also, as presidential speeches have been made recently, authenticity, presidentiality, psychological health tended to increase, but cognitive complexity tended to decrease. These tendencies were supported by linear trend analysis. The linguistic differences were distinct not only among individual presidents but also by groups based on the political orientation of the president. In the progressive presidential speech, more clout, cognitive complexity, femininity were observed. In contrast, more authenticity and presidentiality were observed in the conservative presidential speech. In Study 2, it was demonstrated whether the developed language style indicators show reliability in the most recent President's speeches. Finally, it was discussed that the relationship between language style indicators, fitness of the political tendency between the regime and the general public since 2000s, and the characteristics of femininity indicator.

Child care cash benefit policy in Korea started in 2009 limited to the those under 2 years old in the poverty group entitled to National Basic Living Security Act and the near poor group (100,000 won a month). However, in 2013 the coverage has been expanded to everyone under 5 (200,000 won for those between babies in their first year, 150,000 won for the second year and 100,000 won for those between 2 to 5 years old) regardless of the household income level. The policy change between year 2012 and year 2013 requires a rapid increase in child care budget - 760% increase. This paper examines this exceptional expansion in child care cash benefit using policy network analysis. We found that local election as well as general election immediately effect the interaction between policy actors and the types of networks. This suggest that policy actors recognize child care cash benefit to be more directly related to the election result compared with child care services. Also conflictive interaction between the parties and government bodies with budget restraint also facilitated the diversification on the child care cash benefit discussion. The policy making process of child care cash benefit was led to policy adoption immediately after the presidential election suggesting that policy formation process and the policy adoption had an close relationship in the Korean child care cash benefit policy process.

This study, based on grounded theory, explores the child-rearing process of defecting North Korea women in South Korea. Interviews were conducted with five defecting North Korea women who had children. With the permission of the participants, the interviews were recorded with the digital recorder and transcribed by the researchers. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and observations until they were saturated. The interviews were analysed according to the constant comparative method used in grounded theory. The study derived 86 concepts, 31 subcategories and 11 categories in open coding. A core category was 'enduring hardships with hopes for children's success ' in selective coding. And The child-rearing process of the defecting North Korea women takes 'stage of entry', 'stage of confrontation', 'stage of struggle', 'stage of adjustment' and 'stage of hope for children's success'. The findings of the study will be useful in seeking an effective social welfare intervention plan for successful child-rearing of defecting North Korea women in South Korea.

Despite that Korea has tried 50 years of service development policies, the result has been unsatisfactory. Borrowing the policy stream model of policy change and narrative policy framework one tried to explain the weaknesses of the policy process for the service development policies. Before 2000 lacking knowledge resulted in poor policy narratives while after 2000 despite sufficient knowledge base and well articulated narratives policy window would not open. Adversarial politics under conservative party caused the window to be closed. One suggests that paradigm shift in value and world view treats is necessary to overcome the policy failures in service development policy. According these analyses one expects a new initiative of policy narrative construction.

Capitalism of altitude in modern society has brought a brilliant development of human civilization. But there is a side effect of capitalism. It is just such as alienation of labor, polarization. The need to consider the worker's equal rights to share profits of private companies in the first Korean Constitution of 1948 is to mitigate the adverse effects of this capitalism. It is considered that the present government aims at "economic democracy" slogan and also be matched. The worker's equal rights to share profits of private companies means the distribution rights of workers to receive excess profits of the company. The review of these worker's equal rights to share profits of private companies is thought very meaningful.

Over 60 years has passed since mankinds started space exploration beyond the Earth with lunar explorer Luna 1 launched by Soviet Union. Unprecedently remarkable outcomes have been obtained by sending unmanned spacecrafts to most planets in the solar system and having the lander landed on the approaching comet toward the Earth even though any evidence of life presence has not been discovered yet. Only moon is an natural object beyond the earth on which human beings landed. Many countries are planning to send humans to the moon or mars to build colonies and to survive with substantiality. Korean lunar exploration program has officially started as of 2016 after its plan including lunar exploration has been specified in the series of National Space Promotion Plan since Korea initiated space development in early 1990s. In this paper, the plan for Korean space exploration is summarized with reviewing overseas space exploration program status and trends.

Purpose of this study is to develop the proceeding strategies for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park in Korea which is one of projects of the Park Geun-hye's Government. We basically dissolute the conflict between the South and North Korea, and we build the atmosphere reconciliations and cooperation between two Koreas, and go forward the peaceful unification. And thus we make ultimately the world peace and establish enduring peace in the Korean Peninsula. Through the analysis the 8 proceeding strategies. Results of this study, I verified possibility of proceeding for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park, and urgent need of policy development and support by the local governments, and we need to start the project in the South first.

We came to the conclusion as follows from the research about pulse diagnostic technique (脈診) out of "Nan Jinghoeju jeonjung" (難經滙注箋正). 1. "Nan Jing" is practical medical book for clinician and holds different opinions about three portions and nine takings(三部九候脈法) from Huang Di Nei Jing's Taking the pulse of Bu Jung Chim Chon Kwan Chuk((浮中沈 寸關尺) is a quite creative means which has been a important role to future generation. 2. We pointed the differences between western medical science and traditional medical science. And can explain the pulse in western medicine divided from twelve channels of Oriental Medicine. We can explain special connection between heart and lungs using the theory of systemic & pulmonary circulation in western medicine. And this can be a basement of Lung controls every pulse theory in oriental medicine. 3. We have negative assertion about viewing the human body using theory of Yin and Yang-Five Elements. And have poor opinion of explaining about the matching internal organs to Chon Kwan Chuk using the theory of Yin and Yang-Five Elements. 4. We pointed out the mistake that Porak & Sang hwa act for heart. We took pulses considering heart is a real actual internal organ as others. 5. We denied the theory of Man's Chuk pulse is always weak(男子尺脈恒弱) & Woman's Chuk pulse is always strong(女子尺脈恒盛). The physical form of man and woman is not different from each other considering their inheritances from forefather & same shape of organs. So, we cannot insist on the theory.
