Development of a Fitted Bodice Pattern Using a 3D Replica of Women's Upper Body (3D 레플리카를 이용한 여성용 밀착 상의의 패턴 전개 방법)

  • When we develop 2D pattern from replica of human body with small pieces, it is inevitable to have some replica pieces overlapped or departed. In this study, the optimized method of 2D pattern development from the 3D replica pieces was investigated using dress-form. Among six arrangement methods, anchoring two vertexes of a replica to neighboring vertexes of a next replica induces the optimized 2D pattern by evenly distributing stress across the 3D replica pieces. Anchoring neighboring vertexes resulted in automatic widening k overlapping (W & O) the interspaces among replicas of dress-form, thereby stress was distributed more evenly than any other method. W&O arrangement method was verified to be the best by examining the 3D space distribution images between body surface and twelve experimental garments.

  • 전해동박(Electrodeposited Copper Foil)은 전기도금 공정으로 제조되는 얇은 구리 포일로서, 주로 TV, PC, 스마트폰 등 전자제품의 인쇄회로기판에서 전기신호를 전달하는 회로소재로 사용이 되며, 최근에는 모바일 IT, 전기자동차, 지능형 로봇, 그린 에너지 산업 등에서 필수적으로 적용되는 소재로 이용이 급증하고 있는 핵심소재이다. 모바일, Network 고속 통신 기술의 발전에 따라 Data 사용량의 폭증으로 고속/고주파 신호전송이 필요성이 증대되고 있으며 무선 충전 기술의 도입 및 웨어러블 기기의 보급으로 점차 FCCL도 3layer에서 2layer로 점차 그 수요가 바뀌어 가고 있다. 이에 따라 전해동박도 고속/고주파 신호 전송 및 고밀도 특성에 맞추어 저조도, 고밀착력 특성을 요구되는 방향으로 개발 되고 있으며 Line Space 가 기존 $25{\mu}m/25{\mu}m$ 패턴에서 $20{\mu}m/20{\mu}m$ 패턴으로 Fine pitch를 요구함에 따라 전해동박의 박막화, 저조도 고 밀착력 특성이 더 요구되고 있다.

Segmentation Using Curvature Information of 3D Body Surface for Tight-fit Pattern Making (상반신 밀착패턴 제작을 위한 3차원 인체 표면 곡률기준 분할)

  • It is inevitable to have cutting line to get the 2D pattern from 3D body surface. In this paper the efficiency of curvature plot as a cutting line in the process of flattening 3D surface was investigated. As reference, basic clothing construction line was adopted to divide the 3D surface into small blocks to make the flattening process easy. Female dummy as well as human body were scanned and surface of the upper body was segmented using curvature plot and basic constructing line. 2D tight-fit pattern was developed using three software, the RapidForm 2004, 2C-AN and Yuka CAD. Gap between clothes and body, and the clothing pressure on the body was observed to determine the fit of the clothes. As results, clothes constructed with blocks divided by curvature plot displayed a similar level of tight fit as compared with those by basic construction line. It was found that curvature plot is effective method as a segmentation of the 3D surface even for the actual body which does not have any previous reference line. It is expected that application of curvature plot will be expanded in 3D apparel technology.

  • 본 논문에서는 Si wafer와 Cu사이의 밀착력을 증가시키기 위해 Si wafer전처리 후 plasma와 SAMs처리 방법에 의한 Cu도금의 형성에 관한 방법을 설명하였다. Si wafer를 Piranha solution과 $0.5\%$ HF처리 후 유기박막인 SAMs과 plasma를 이용하는 방법으로 wafer와 Cu층 사이의 밀착력을 증가시켰다. 도금층의 밀착력은 scratch test 로 측정하였으며, AEM을 이용해 시편에 형성된 패턴의 형태를 관찰하고 SEM과 EDS를 이용해 시편의 조직을 관찰하였다. 그 결과 Si wafer를 O2, He, SAMs를 혼합처리 했을 때 밀착성이 가장 우수하였다.

  • In order to improve the adhesion properties of copper, MPS(3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane) organic film were employed. The plasma pretreatment in pure He or $He/O_{2}$ mixed gas environment greatly increased adhesion force. Adhesion force was measured by scratch test with nano indenter. Microstructures and surface roughness were observed with scanning electron microscope(SEM). The characteristics of MPS layer for pretreatment were studied with flourier transform infrared spectroscope(FT-IR) and contact angle tester. The heighest adhesion was achieved in the specimen pretreated with mixed plasma and NPS coating, which was 56mN. Other specimen showed lower value by $20{\%}$ to $30{\%}$. The roughness of substrate was not affected by the bonding strength of copper plating.

Methods of Merging a 3D Replica and Ease Distribution for Woman's Pant Patterns (여성용 바지 패턴 설계를 위한 3차원 밀착 패턴 여유량 부가와 레플리카 조합 방법)

  • In this research, a woman matched to the average Korean standard size specification of 21-24 years of age was scanned using Cyberware. Rapidform 2004 was used to separate the body zone into fit zone, action zone and design zone, depending on the function of the lower body. Each divided body zone expanded radially using 'offset' by 1.60mm at the cross section of the waist, and 6.36mm at the hip level. Resultant ease values were 1cm and 4cm along the waistline and hipline (respectively), as recommended in previous research. 2C-AN program and Yuka CAD was used to develop a pant pattern from the enlarged 3D body surface blocks. A total of five pants were constructed using conventional fabrics for light weight formal pants. The appearance of the experimental pants were evaluated by five clothing-major evaluators using a questionnaire that consisted of 21 questions. In addition, functional aspects of the experimental pants were also evaluated by wearer while performing five postures for the measurement of ease of movement. It was found that, the method of regional offset and suggested 3D to 2D pattern development generate reasonably good pant patterns. Among the pattern block arrangements, the method B was evaluated as the best way to generate formal pants from the tight-fit pattern, which fit smoothly over the lower body for maintaining ease of movement.

  • Mobile의 기술발달과 보편화에 따라 소비자들은 Mobil이 자기 개성 표현인 액세서리화되고, 더욱 감성적이고 차별화된 디자인을 요구함에 따라, 기업들은 이런 소비자들의 개성화 감성화의 니즈를 표면처리 디자인 기술로 효율적으로 적용해 소비자의 감성만족을 시키려 하고 있다. 국내외 Mobile 시장에서 Metal Case 외장의 2차원적인 디자인패턴은 다양한 표면처리 가공 접근이 용이하지 못하고, 패턴디자인의 한계에 이르렇다. E/F(INLET)의 도금 가공 기술의 Concept은 "원활한 모재의 제품 박리성" 에 있으나, 역발상으로 "Metal 모재와의 밀착성"으로 제품디자인을 구현하여, 제품의 도금 두께층 및 신뢰성 기술 확보함으로, 표면층에 사진, 그림, 인물 풍경, 자연물이미지 등의 다양한 감성디자인패턴의 구현이 가능해졌다. 산업기술자원부의 디자인혁신센터로 중소기업디자인개발 지원을 위해 설립된 중앙대학교 디자인경영센터와 SR I-TECH의 기술력으로 3차원 감성디자인패턴을 개발하게 되었다.

  • The current trends in steel construction involve the use of tapered sections to minimize the use of excess materials to the extent possible, by choosing cross-sections that are as economical as possible abandoning the classical approach of using prismatic members. In addition, snug-tightened connections, especially the end-plate type, have the advantage of fetching less construction costs and shorter assembly times as opposed to fully tightened joints. Although they have many merits, however, snug-tightened bolted end plates are extremely complex in their structural behavior. In this study, an experimental investigation of the snug-tightened flush end-plate connections of tapered beams were conducted. The primary test parameters were the torque for the clamping bolt, the loading pattern, the bolt type and the connection failure type. Using initial stiffness and load-carrying capacity as proposed by Silva et al. and AISC (2003), the moment-rotation curve of a linearly tapered member with a snug-tightened flush end-plate connection was predicted. Moreover, numerical and experimental data for moment-rotation curves were compared.

  • There still is a limitation in the usage of 3D clothes model in the production line due to the lack of compatibility between 3D modeling software, and its accurate 2D pattern making software, especially for free formed dress with tight fitted zone and draped part. In this study, obstacles in the 3D direct dress design process was overcome by solving the compatibility among each step of 3D virtual design process as well as adopting 3D-2D direct pattern development program called 2C-AN. Efficacy of making 2D pattern from 3D dress design using 2C-AN program developed by the authors was examined during the course of actual dress making process. Accurate ease over the fitted dress part was examined by 3D scanning technology, and the actual appearance of the draped part was compared with the simulation image of dress model. It was confirmed that the entire 3D design process and direct 2D pattern development proposed in this study was accurate enough to use in the 3D design process.
