A Study on Adhesion Test Methods for Fire Hose (소방호스 밀착강도시험방법에 관한 연구)

  • In order to improve the adhesion test methods for fire hose, 7 kinds of standards (KOFEIS, UL, FM, NFPA, BS, Chinese standard, JIS, JFEII standard) in 5 countries (Korea, USA, UK, China, Japan) were compared and adhesion tests were conducted by using the samples choosed randomly from the product produced in Korea. It was concluded that the sample size, the rate of seperation of a strip of the lining from the janet and standard judgment should be more differed and divided in accordance with the fire hose number in adhesion test to get the high Quality of fire hose.

  • 자동용접용 솔리드와이어를 위한 치환동도금층 밀착력 향상을 위해 착화제로 Alanine을 사용하였다. 테이프 시험결과 Alanine 첨가에 따라 밀착력이 현저히 증가하였다. 또한 도금층내에 혼입되는 H와 Fe 분석결과 Alanine을 첨가하지 않았을 때 도금층 전체 영역에서 H와 Fe의 검출강도가 높게 나타났으나, Alanine 10g/l추가시 도금층내에서 미량 검출되었다.

  • TiN 박막을 자전거용 서스펜션 프레임의 재질로 사용되는 고비강도 경량 합금에 적용하기 위해 Arc ion plating 방식으로 코팅하고 기계적 특성을 분석하였다. TiN 박막의 코팅 특성 평가는 XRD, 박막 경도, 마찰 계수, 밀착력을 측정하였고 피로시험을 실시하였다. 박막의 경도는 약 19 GPa로 측정되었고, 마찰 계수는 약 0.4로써 박막의 코팅 전(마찰계수 0.8)보다 낮아졌다. 밀착력은 약 13.9 N로 나타났으며, 피로 시험은 약 30,000회의 수직 하중 실험에도 박막의 가시적 크랙과 파손이 관찰되지 않았다.

세라믹 溶射皮膜의 强度向上에 관한 硏究

  • The purpose of this paper was to investigate the effect of deposition configuration on the mechanical properties of the flame sprayed titania ceramic coating. The sprayed deposition configuration was made in different five types with titania ceramic and Ni-base alloy on the mild steel substrate. The composite coating exhibited superior mechanical properties such as hardness, adhesive strength, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance, whereas the mixed coating proved to be more resistant to erosion. Especially graded coating, which consist of Ni-base alloy undercost, intermediate grade coat and titania ceramic overcost, showed excellent mechanical properties.

A Study on the strengthening of titania ceramic coating layer on the steel substrate (티타니아 세라믹 熔射皮膜의 强度向上에 관한 硏究)

  • The purpose of this investigation is to examine the effects of the strengthening treatments on the mechanical properties of the flame-sprayed titania ceramic coating layer. The strengthening treatments for flame sprayed specimens were carried out in 12 different conditions in vaccum furance. The mechanical properties such as microhardness, thermal shock resistance, adhesive strength and erosion resistance were tested for the sprayed specimens after strengthening treatments. And it was clear that the mechanical properties of coating layer were much improved by the strengthening treatments. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. It was shown that the metallurgical bond was formed between substrate and coating layer by the strengthening treatments and that thermal shock resistance and adhesive strength were remarkably raised. 2. Microhardness of coating lay was considerably increased by the strengthening treatments. 3. Erosion resistance and porosity of coating layer were slightly improved by the strengthening treatments.

  • 표면파 속도 측정은 근래 토목분야에서는 비파괴 지반조사기법으로 활용되고 있다. 최근에는 디지털 신호처리기술의 발달과 함께, 더욱 정확해진 자료분석 알고리즘을 통하여 표면파 탐사관련 기술이 향상되어 3차원의 공간연속적인 시험이 가능해졌다. 본 연구는 표면파의 분산 특성을 이용하여 콘크리트 구조물의 깊이별 강성평가를 하는 SASW(Spectral Analysis of Surface Waves)기법과 STFT(Short time Fourier Transform)과 HWT(Harmonic Wavelet Transform)를 이용한 주파수영역에서의 공진주파수를 통한 부재평가 기법인 IE(Impact Echo)기법을 이용하여 대상부재의 강도평가를 수행하기 위한 시제품 개발을 수행하였다. 시제품은 메인프레임과 2개의 센서로 이루어져 측정을 수행하며 측정장치와 DAQ장치 및 S/W로 구성되어 있다. 메인프레임의 진동특성영향을 제거하기 위하여 2개의 센서는 프레임과 띄움구조로 설계하였고 센싱하는 위치는 대상 재료의 밀착되어 계측할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 탄성파를 계측하여 대상 재료의 깊이별 측정된 표면파의 속도를 계측하며 개발된 시제품의 구조물별 적용성 평가를 위한 실험을 수행하였고 평균 표면파 속도를 통해 추정한 콘크리트 두께와 결함 및 강도 추정의 적용성을 평가하였다. 시제품을 이용해 시험콘크리트 표면파를 측정한 결과 SASW기법을 이용하여 깊이에 대한 위상속도 분포와 IE기법의 결과로 개발된 시제품의 합리적 적용성이 평가되었다. 그러나 재료의 강도추정에 있어서는 각각 알고리즘의 주파수분석 요소들에 의해 변동되는 경향을 보여 추후 많은 테스트를 통해 속도-강도 추정의 회귀곡선식을 S/W에 탑재시키고 다양한 방법으로 조합하는 알고리즘으로 신뢰성있는 강도추정을 위한 알고리즘을 개발하여야 한다.

An Estimation of the Fatigue Behavior on the Cruciform Type Specimen by Variation of the Stress Ratio (응력비 변화에 따른 십자형 접합부의 피로거동 평가)

  • This paper was composed with fatigue test of the cruciform specimens, as load carrying and non-load carrying type. It also has performed computational analyses for geometric condition of the fillet welding bead. As test results, the effect of stress ratio in the specimen was insignificant. Stress ranges were varied with R=0.1~0.2. The fatigue cracks that were found in the load carrying type specimens and most specimens welded with contact were developed at the end of welds. The fatigue strength of specimen that have fractured in maternal plate was found about ${\Delta}\sigma_c$=63.5MPa. It's about 24% less than that of the non-load carrying type specimens having about ${\Delta}\sigma_c$=83.8MPa. A category of the Fatigue design specifications which provide for cruciform details was defined grade C as a stress of the maternal member. And then, the fatigue strength to be transformed into the maternal stress was found about 78.27 MPa, it tends to be less than that of allowable fatigue strength.

  • 염해지역 배전선로의 나선 사용에 따른 안전사고방지 및 전력공급신뢰도 향상을 위하여 경동선 도체에 수밀 컴파운드를 충진하고 흑색의 가교폴리에틸렌으로 압출한 절연전선으로 염해지역의 특별고압 가공전선로에 사용하며 내부식성, 수밀성 및 전기 특성이 우수하다. 따라서 본 평가기술에서는 내트래킹, 인장강도, 우수침입방지성, 침적성, 통전내부식성, 교류파괴전압, 박리성, 밀착도 등의 주요한 시험에 대한 시험방법을 검토하고, 시험에 적용하여 시험 시 문제점을 도출하고 시험방법을 정립하고자 한다.

Improvement of Adhesion Strength of High Temperature Plasma Coated Aluminum Substrate with Aluminum-Alumina Powder Mixture (알루미늄 기지에 알루미늄-알루미나 혼합분말을 이용한 고온플라즈마 열분사 코팅층의 밀착강도 향상기구)

  • High temperature plasma coating technology has been applied to recover damaged aluminum dies from wear by spraying pure aluminum and alumina powder. However, the coated mixed powder layer composed of aluminum and alumina often undergoes a detachment from the substrate, making the coated substrate die unable to maintain its expected life span. In this study, in order to increase the bonding strength between the substrate and the coating layer, a pure aluminum layer was applied as an intermediate bond layer. In order to prepare the specimen with variable bond coating conditions, the bond coat layers with a various gun speed from 10 cm/sec to 30 cm/sec were prepared with coating cycle variations ranging from three to nine cycles. The specimen with a bond coat layer coated with a gun speed of 20 cm/sec and three coating cycles exhibited ~13MPa of adhesion strength, while the specimen without a bond coat layer showed ~6 MPa of adhesion strength. The adhesion strength with a variation of bond coat layer thickness is discussed in terms of coating parameters.

  • This study aims to investigate the film performance by physical properties of glue and gelatin in traditional paint(Dancheong). To do this, homemade, commercial glue and gelatin was selected and evaluated water reaction and weatherproof. The result, the highest gel strength, gelatin was better than acrylic acid ester resin, when compared with hygroscopic property and adhesive property. And that was better than in any others, when compared with water-proofing.
