'You(游)', as the Aesthetic attitude (미적(美的) 태도(態度)로서의 '유(游)')

  • This study aims to identify the concept of "You(游)" as the aesthetic attitude in the Traditional Chinese Painting Theory. Traditional painting has a purpose to spread painting spirits and have consistently pursued "Xin(神, spiritual being)" as the truth of a thing. However, the contents of "spiritual being", "form" and "qi" that "describe the spiritual being" have been changed. Therefore, although the theory of form and spirit can be a way to explain chinese paintings, there is a limitation to actively explain the changes in description of spiritual being. In order to find out the basis to explain the changes of spiritual being as the truth of a thing, this study investigated the concept of "You(游)" as the attitude of the artist focusing on "experiences in painting". "Tuhua Jianwenzhi" and "Linquan Gaozhi" in the Song Dynasty adopted the attitude of "You" to explain the painting theory and proceeded exploration on things with the attitude to pursue the "truth" of a thing described in "Eye of Painting" and "KuguahuoshangHuayulu". The aesthetic values generated in the attitude of "You" refer to "qing si(情思)" and "yi si(意思)" in Song Dynasty; "gao yin zhi si (高隱之思)" in the Meng Dynasty; and the law of "one stroke(一?)" in Qing Dynasty.

  • Based on the perception of Maurice Merleau Ponty, This study defines that Moving is a form lively to experience meaning, pleasure as the aesthetic attribute structured to a product, expression and value are synthesized into. The purpose of study is to argue that Wearable, Ubiquitous, Interaction, Play, D, I, Y, Universal, Ecology are the forms, modalities that the moving is variously subjected to the product design. Above This is the result reasoned according to analogical form as below between the moving and all design forms. First, The moving as the aesthetic expression and value are synthesized into is the intrinsic, general proposition, maxim for the value judgement. Second, All design forms are the cases which the values based on the aesthetic expression system are subjected to Third, Thus All design forms are the modalities of the aesthetic expression based on the values. The certainty of this judgement, reasoning is the proof that the correspondence between the moving as the aesthetic expression and design form is the fact. That is to say, It is the proof that Users lively experience the aesthetic meaning, pleasure in fact as the aesthetic values are subjected to all design forms. The lived experience of each user in their daily life itself is the only method or assurance for this. The moving integrates the existence of a product and what should be of users into the aesthetic dimension and at the same time, is realized based on this. The emphasized theme in all cases of this study is not the product but the moving. So, The product design is changed into the action which structures the moving like above to a product.

  • 산업화된 현대 사회의 다양한 대중 문화 속에서 새로운 미적 가치를 지니며 하나의 문화 현상으로 나타나고 있는 키치(kitsch)는 기성세대의 사고 방식을 부정하고 기존의 고정관념에서 벗어나 파괴라는 형태를 통해서 자신을 부각시키는 미적 부적절성을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 키치의 대중적인 취향과 미적 특성의 실증적인 자료를 통해서 97년 이후의 키치적 요소의 헤어스타일을 분석하였다.

A Study on the Convergence Marketing of Pursuing Value and Beauty Service in Accordance with Men's Acceptance of Information about Beauty Care (남성들의 외모관리 정보수용도에 따른 추구가치와 뷰티서비스 융합마케팅 연구)

  • With much changes in men's appearance style to pursue, beauty care activities, and pursuing value, it has been required to have researches on it. This study analyzed men's acceptance of information about beauty care and also the characteristics of each pursuing value. An online survey was conducted targeting about 500 male office workers in Seoul. In the results of the study, the pursuit of the practical value of five beauty care activities was the highest while the aesthetic value was very differently shown in accordance with the types of beauty care activities, compared to two other values. Contrary to other styles, especially, the acceptance of the skin care style was influenced by the sociocultural value, practical value, and aesthetic value. Especially, the passivity of the aesthetic value and the emphasis on the practical and sociocultural values were shown. The hair care was influenced by the practical value while the plastic surgery was influenced by the aesthetic value. In the care style area, the acceptance of skin care was only influenced by the pursuit of complex values. Regarding the marketing of each care style, the large-scale marketing campaign would be effective for the hair care while it would be necessary to seek for more aesthetic campaigns for the plastic surgery business.

The Consumer Perceived Value in Taekwondo Performance Spectators: Scale Development and Validation (태권도 공연 관람자의 인지된 가치 척도 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a valid, reliable instrument to measure perceived value for Taekwondo performance spectators. The perceived value scale for Taekwondo performance spectators was developed in eight phases. For the development spectators perceived value scale (1) literature review, (2) preliminary factors and items selected, (3) assessment of the items, (4) pilot test, (5) data sampling, (6) validity of development scale, (7) assess reliability of items and, (8) predictive validity of development items. Based on three processes, a new perceived value of Taekwondo performance spectators scale with six factors(cultural, social, hedonic, aesthetic, moral and utilitarian value) and 19 items were developed. The result of predictive validity of development items: first, cultural, social, aesthetics, moral of perceived value had significantly influence on spectators attitude. Second, social, hedonic, utilitarian of perceived value had significantly influence on spectators satisfaction. Third, cultural, social, aesthetics perceived value had significantly influence on future consumption behavior of spectators.

  • 가전제품들의 제조기술과 기능 및 성능 등의 개선을 주도하뎐 국내 기술수준은 포화되어 발전 속도의 둔화가 가속화되므로, 경쟁력이 강화된 제품으 개발과 다양한 소비자들의 요구를 만족시키는 제품의 개발을 위하여 사용자 중심의 제품을 개발하기 위한 노력은 인간의 감성요소를 이해하고 응용하기 위한 활발한 연구로 나타나고 있는 추세이다.$^{1)}$ 사용자의 감성 연구에서 심리학적, 미학적 접근방법의 적용은 사용자의 감성을 더욱 본질적으로 이해하기 위한 하나의 방법이다. 인구통계학적, 사회경제적, 심리적 측면에 의한 개인차와 환경적 요소들의 영향에 따른 사용자의 요구들에 대한 충족여부가 취미와 가치판단의 변인으로써 작용하고, 그 취미와 가치판단은 구매행위 등의 행동특성으로 나타난다. 따라서 취미와 가치판단의 기준이되는 요소와 변인들은 행동특성을 야기시키는 요인들이 되므로 본 연구에서는 사용자의 요구를 만족시켜 경쟁력이 강화도니 제품의 개발을 위하여 소비자들의 감성과 미적 판단이 상품의 구매를 위한 의사 결정에 미치는 영향과 제품에 대한 가치판단에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 결과의 분석에 의하면 소비자의 취미돠 미적판단 기준은 내면적요소와 외부환경적요소로 구분되며 재면적 요소는 감성분류와 성격분류에 의해 분석할 수 있으며, 내면적 요소가 제품의 선호도에 영향을 미치므로 제품의 제품선택의 변인이되며, 제품에 대한 형용사적 표현은 소비자와 디자이너의 양질의통신수단임을 입증하였다.

  • Ideals of beauty has expressed variously through the centuries and in different cultures. Each traditional 'togu' has it's own morphology (in the meaning of nonverval linguistic) as using various type of language in each cultural erea. Korean aesthetics on 'dogu'philosophy introduces a whole new set of basic concepts outside western aesthetic framework of beauty Most distinctive is the insistence on overcoming dichotomies, especially between cognition and emotion, (momism)body and mind, self and other, and individual and group. Several topics are particularly illuminating within aesthetics: furniture, calligraphy, traditional garments pose interesting challenging to the art/nature, inside/outside, ethics/desire dichotomies so crucial to moral and cultural context. aesthetics are equally deserving of philosophical scrutiny: the ways in which philosophy of 'dogu'and aesthetics are integrated with daily life, the emphasis on process or understanding context rather than product itself or product 'form'. Dogu did not separate daily life and aesthetics from understanding social context. Language of 'togu' also has own vocabulary and grammar. But we often cannot gain our persnol experience truthful beauty of togu until understand context of understanding. it would be immpossible to explain ,or to analize different way of thinkings and behaivor precisly without understanding same codes of language.

  • This study seeks to find the sociocultural value which influences the man image and make-up in media. It helps to gain the effective data that suggest the application of male make-up in promoting development of market. The man emphasizes the practical value which is the technical and instrumental value to express the man image rationally, aesthetic value to pursue aesthetic purely and symbolic value which is a volitional and intentional value experienced in the history and society to express preferring man images as the society is changed. As analysing the man image based on sociocultural value, the practical value of men's make-up is to maximize the utility vale in order to deliver a clear image considering their activity range, environment, and situation. Second, the aesthetical value of men's make-up is to emphasize femininity through women's make-up technic. Third, the symbolic value of men's make-up is to deliver a concept or intentionally create an image by maximizing overall characteristic image. It will be hopefully valuable as a basic data for developing make-up products and setting trend for men as well as for future studies.
