  • Recently, the concrete floor finishing robot, which can be used for flattening and smoothing the concrete floor, has been developed in Korea and Japan. While the previous research assumes that the concrete floor is deformable and the trowel is rigid in modeling the concrete floor finisher, we assume that the concrete floor is rigid and the trowel is deformable. Based on this assumption, we derived the equations of motion and found the convergent velocity of the concrete floor finisher using the computer simulation. From these results, we can understand the relationship between the motion characteristics and the design and control parameter of the robot.

  • The construction industry is typical of the ' job of 3D ', the automated construction equipments are getting used in the domestic construction sites and the construction robots began to be sold in the abroad. The research developed the small sized robot which could be used at the apartments and the office buildings with the small floors. But the past finishing robot could not be operated easily, it had expensive controller which could not increase the production of robot. In this paper, user interface is made to operate easily the small concrete floor finishing robot with two trowel which has low cost controller, motion algorithm including modeling and mechanism about the concrete finishing robot is developed to control moving. Simulation and experiment figure out how the finishing robot moves and will contribute to realizing it.lizing it.

  • This study investigated the fundamental properties and cracking shapes of mortar for the floor after Mock-up test with FRP as wastes of crafts. For the flowability of fresh mortar without FRP, it was favorable compared with fresh mortar using FRP, and the drop time at O-Lot was similar to the flowability. For the compressive strength of fresh mortar with FRP, it was increased about 10% compared with plain. The flexible strength was also increased on fresh mortar with FRP. On the cracking shape, there was many penetrated crack in all directions on plain. In the case that FRP was used, it seemed to have excellent resistance to the crack occurrence because there was no directive crack at a limited part.

  • We intend to offer theoretical bases of earth construction technology through the analysis of cases of brickworks and plastering works in the city of Gumi, Kyeongsangbukdo. We search for those instances of earth buildings to confirm the trend that earth construction is recognized as environment-friendly, sustainable and newly spotlighted field to alternatives of building construction. We made a frame of analysis through theoretical consideration about earth construction and prior study. Then, we analyzed the selected buildings which is selected by priority in the city of Gumi as authorized preservation value, cultural assets and recently built modern constructions. We found out some problems in structural strength, durability and fire proofing and the invisible development of technologies of earth construction method in this case analysis.
