음성 신호처리에서 많이 쓰이는 음성구간 검출은 주로 음향신호의 분석을 통하여 음향 신호에 음성이 존재하는지 여부를 판단한다. 그러나 음향신호를 이용한 방법은 음성 또는 비음성 잡음이나 주위 음향 환경에 의하여 성능이 결정된다는 단점이 있다. 음향 환경 변화에 강인한 음성구간 검출을 수행하기 위하여, 영상정보를 이용한 음성구간 검출 방법들이 최근에 연구되어 왔는데 기존 방법들은 입술 모양의 변화를 추정하기 위하여 입술 모델 등을 이용하거나 구강(oral cavity) 영역에 해당하는 픽셀 수의 변화를 이용하여 음성 구간을 검출하였다. 위 방법들은 입술의 모양을 추정하는 데 복잡한 계산이 필요하거나, 입술 모양 추정 없이 구강 영역픽셀 수만 이용하기 때문에 다소 정확도가 떨어진다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는, 입술 모양의 변화를 추정하기 위해 밖으로 드러나는 구강 영역의 모양을 타원 근사법으로 추정하고, 타원의 넓이와 높이의 변화를 이용하여 음성 구간을 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 비교 실험 결과, 제안하는 방법은 구강영역 픽셀 수의 변화만 이용하는 방법에 비해 우수한 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.

A flow of generative change has existed in the Chinese media following political, economic, and institutional changes. Since a market system was introduced to the field of drama production, people called 'zhipianren' who act as government agents as well as market administrators have spontaneously emerged. The government, by granting legal qualifications and authority to these 'zhipianren', have institutionalized and absorbed them within the system. Through this process, the 'drama zhipianren system', under the unique environment of a socialist market economy, demonstrates a Chinese administrative model that effectively reveals the changing process from a direct administration by the government to indirect administration and self-censorship. Furthermore, with the widespread adoption of the internet, various types of media including grassroots media have emerged, and the participation and production activities of netizens has enabled the development of a new genre of literature called internet literature. Furthermore, some websites that functioned as platforms for video and grassroots media came to self-produce contents so as to function as media in and of themselves. Originally, the internet was cultivated as a portion of the IT industry, but when it began to function as media, forming a new media landscape, regulations and institutions were gradually established and subsequently advanced in the direction of supervision and regulation over all internet media contents. A flow of generative change in the field of media has emerged, and the pattern of generation-convergence repeats itself as the official media policies converge.

컴퓨터 기술의 급속한 발달로 학교와 사회에서의 컴퓨터 환경이 크게 변화하고 있는 가운데 클라이언트/서버의 환경을 기반으로 학교 교육 시스템의 구축이 빠른 속도로 이루어지고 있다. 한편, 컴퓨터 통신이 일반화되면서 인터넷을 교육적으로 활용하려는 시도들은 늘고 있지만 아직 교과교육에 활용하는 것은 초기 단계에 머물러 있다. 인터넷의 교육적 활용, 원격 교육, 재택 교육의 차원뿐만 아니라, 이미 개발된 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 쉽게 보급하여 수업에 활용할 수 있는 측면에서도 웹에서 동작하는 코스웨어의 개발은 필수적이라 할 것이다. 그러나, 웹에서 실시간으로 동작하는 코스웨어는 아직 찾기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 코스웨어 개발을 위한 교육적 접근 및 방법론, 인터넷의 교육적 활용에 관하여 고찰한 다음 인터넷에서 실시간으로 실행되는 코스웨어의 설계 및 개발 방향을 제시하고 이를 구현하였다.

Development of information technology makes a telemedicine system feasible along with the traditional medical practice of visiting a hospital (or clinic). This telemedicine workstation would include a PACS interface and between inpatient and outpatient HIS/RIS/PACS transaction protocol. Although this system has adopted PACS, this technology has been available for severe year the integration of the system into clinical operation has had limited success due to stringent requirements of radiologists as well as the load demanded on the system.

현재 ATM망, giga-bit 이더넷, fast 이더넷 그리고 프레임-릴레이와 같은 고속 전송 망 구축 기술이 발전함에 따라 다양한 소비자 욕구를 촉진시키고 있다. 특히, 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스의 환경에서는 다중화되는 개개의 기본 스트림들에 대한 특성이 더욱 가변적임에 따라, 이를 효과적으로 다중화하여 망에 적응 및 연동시키는 기술은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 응용 환경을 고려하여 가변 비트율로 부호화 및 다중화하여 전송되는 과정에 있어서 지나친 전송 대역폭의 낭비를 초래하지 않고 다중화 전송 기법을 제안한다. 가변 비트율로 부호화된 기본 스트림의 각 액세스 단위에 대해 부과되는 지연 크기에 의한 제한 조건 관계식을 정의하고, 이것을 바탕으로 라이브 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 효과적인 두 가지 방안을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 각각 시간적 측면만을 고려한 방법과 시간/공간적 측면을 동시에 고려한 방법으로 나누어 제안한다. 부호화된 Star-wars 데이터 트레이스를 이용한 모의 실험에서 제안된 방식은 크게 다중화 전송 스트림의 첨두율, 변화율 계수 그리고 유효 대역폭 측면에서 성능을 크게 개선시킴을 확인한다. 그리고, 저 지연을 갖는 멀티미디어 서비스에 대해 상대적으로 우수한 성능이 나타남을 확인한다.

Nowadays, in many mobile device environment, while the demand for using web service is increasing, there are many limitations on web-browsing in wireless network because of various restrictions and problems in reality. We need improvement in function of mobile web service engine because we can't be satisfied with the multiple demands by using previous capacity of web server in rapidly changing web environment. Therefore, this paper improves the service environment for web service users by introducing intermediary technology to web service. This paper embodies intermediary based web service framework for improvement of the function of mobile web service and for the interoperability of mobile device and web server.

Web services are the core technology for changing from traditional web to SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) based Web. It is time to adapt the web services to Mobile Devices such as PDA, smart phone and so on. Specially Korea has an efficient mobile environments that is based on CDMA. That is suitable for evaluating the web services in mobile environments. This paper explains a framework of mobile web services based on intermediaries. Intermediaries support various enhanced functionality for mobile environments.

무선 인터넷의 발달에 따라 이동 사용자의 수가 급증하면서 무선 환경에서도 질 높은 미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 받고자 하는 수요가 증가되고 있다. 하지만 이동 단말은 일반 컴퓨팅 환경과는 상대적으로 제한된 시스템 자원을 가지며, 무선 네트워크는 유선 환경보다 대역폭이 낮고, 변화가 크다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 이동 단말에게 질 높은 미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 AIMD를 적용한 NAAT 알고리즘을 이용하여 실시간으로 스트리밍 할 미디어 데이터의 비트율을 적응적으로 조절하여 이동 사용자에게 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하는 VOD 서비스를 구현 한다.

본 논문에서는 조명 변화가 있는 스테레오 이미지에 대하여 레티넥스 알고리즘을 이용하여 효과적으로 3차원 정보를 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 이미지나 비데오는 영상 취득시 여러 가지 원인에 의하여 조명 변화를 겪게 된다. 이미지나 비데오를 촬영하는 시간 간격 차이, 촬영 각도 차이, 촬영 장치의 변화 등이 그 원인이다. 기존의 스테레오 알고리즘들은 정합하려는 영상들 사이에 컬러 일치성을 가정하고 있으므로, 이러한 조명 변화의 영향을 받는 이미지들에 대해서 3차원 정보를 추출하면 적지 않은 에러가 발생하게 된다. 따라서, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 레티넥스 기법을 이용하여 이러한 변화에 둔감한 스테레오 정합 기법을 제안한다. 여러 가지 데이터에 대하여 실험을 한 결과, 제안하는 방법이 효과적임을 확인하였다.

지난 수 십년간 MPEG은 MPEG-2 TS나 ISO 파일 포맷과 같은 멀티미디어 전송을 위한 기술 표준을 성공적으로 개발하여 왔다. 인터넷을 통한 멀티미디어 서비스의 폭발적인 증가에 따른 멀티미디어 서비스 환경의 변화는 멀티미디어 전송 표준에 대한 새로운 요구 사항을 가져왔다. 이러한 요구 사항의 주요 예로는 멀티미디어 구성 요소에 대한 유연하고 동적인 접근 및 저장용 포맷과 패킷화 전송용 포맷 간의 용이한 변환, 그리고 캐쉬나 단말내 저장 장치를 포함하는 다양한 공급자로부터의 멀티미디어 구성 요소의 복합적인 활용을 들 수 있다. MPEG은 이러한 요구 사항에 대응하기 위해서 MPEG Media Transport(MMT) 표준을 개발하고 있따. 본고에서는 새로운 요구 사항과 관련된 MPEG-2 TS나 RTP와 같은 기존 멀티미디어 전송 기술의 도전과 한계를 살펴보고 MMT가 이러한 도전과 한계를 극복하고 있는지에 대해 간략히 소개하고자 한다.
