Wood-rotting fungi of the Aphyllophorales were collected through field trips to mountain areas of the country from January to December of 1997. Through the observation and identification of specimens, two genera, Meruliopsis (type species=M. taxicola) and Pseudomerulius (type species=P. aureus), and four species, Phanerochaete calotricha, Phanerochaete chrysorhiza, Meruliopsis corium, and Pseudomerulius aureus were confirmed as new wood-rotting fungi to Korea and are registered here with descriptions.

One nesticid spider, Nesticella mogera (Yaginuma, 1972), collected from a paddy field is reported for the first time from Korea. The species is closely allied to Nesticella brevipes (Yaginuma, 1970), but is characterized by its male paracymbium and female epigynal scape.

Two porcellanid crabs collected from Jeju Island, Petrolisthes militaris (Heller, 1862) and P. coccineus (Owen, 1839) are recorded as new to Korean fauna. Hence, the Korean porcellanid crabs consist of nine species of seven genera and the genus Petrolisthes now contains three described species.

Ectomycorrhizal fungi in a pine stand were identified by collecting mushrooms from forest floor of a 24-year-old Pinus $rigida-rigida\;{\times}\;taeda$ stand in Suweon from late June to early November of 1981. Of over 70 different mushrooms collected, 26 were identified by species names and 20 were classified into genus categories. A total of 17 different fungal genera were represented in this pine stand. Most commonly observed mushrooms belonged to the genera of Russula, Lactarius, Boletus and Amanita. The genus Hebeloma and following four species are listed as new genus and species, respectively, which have not been reported previously in Korea: Inocybe fastigiata, Phylloporus bellus, Lactarius glaucescens, and Lactarius subvellereus. The Phylloporus bellus has been incorrectly identified in Korea as Phylloporus rhodoxanthus.

Two species of the genus Strumigenys Smith, 1860: S. alecto (Bolton, 2000) and S. solifontis Brown, 1949b, were recorded in Korea for the first time. Morphological characteristics of workers of these two species are described.

Flesh fungi were collected during field trips to mountain areas throughout the country from May to October of 1994. Through the observation and identification of specimens belonging to the Aphyllophorales, one genus, Tylospora, and six species, Athelia fibulata, Hypochnicium punctulatum, Tylospora fibrillosa, Stereum ochraceo-flavum, Steccherinum litschaueri, and Oligoporus undosus were confirmed new to Korea and are registered here with descriptions.

1993년 4월 부산시 부산 공동어시장에서 채집된 전갱이과 어류 1개체가 등지느러미와 뒷지느러미에 1개의 작은 토막지느러미가 있는 점에서 전갱이아과 Caranginae에 속하는 종으로, 가라지속 Decapterus의 한국 미기록종인 홍기가라지(국명신칭) Decapterus tabl로 동정되었기에 이를 기재하였다. 본종은 상대적으로 측선이 완만한 경사를 이루고, 측선의 경사 부위에 모비늘이 없으며, 측선 모비늘수가 34-48개이고, 두정부의 비늘은 안구의 중앙 뒤쪽까지 분포하고 있다. 또한 복추골에 2개의 측돌기공 및 꼬리지느러미가 적색인점 등이 동일 속의 다른 종들과 잘 구분된다.

A genus Parechthistatus Breuning belongs to the subfamily Lamiinae (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is reported in Korea for the first time, with a species of Parechthistatus gibber (Bates). Morphological information was provided, along with photographs of the adult and larval specimens.

1986년 3월부터 12월까지가야산 일대에서 채집된 검정파리과 가운데 한국 미기록종 Calliphora subalpina 15개체가 채집되었기에 재기재하여 보고한다. 이 1 종이 추가됨에 따라 우리나라 검정파리과는 15속 25종이 기록된다.

The Korean species of the genera Cremastus Gravenhorst, 1829 and Pristomerus Curtis, 1836 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) are studied. Here we report three species, Cremastus crassitibialis Uchida, 1940, Pristomerus rufiabdominalis Uchida, 1928 and P. scutellaris Uchida, 1932, new to South Korea. Among them genus Cremastus is recorded for the first time from South Korea. The number of Korean Cremastinae is now 11 species in four genera including the three newly recorded species. A key to the genera of Korean Cremastinae, diagnosis of newly recorded species and photographs of redescriptions characters are provided.
