여기저기서 드론이 뜨고 있다. 아마존이 날아오른 드론으로 고객의 문 앞까지 배달하는 모습은 일대 장관이었다. 이제 웬만한 방송에서 하늘 높이 오른 드론으로 내려다본 모습을 전송하는 것은 그저 일상일 뿐이다. 뿐만 아니라, 사람이 직접 닿을 수 없는 곳에서 드론으로 사람을 찾는다거나, 드론을 통해 고층건물의 안전도를 검사한다거나, 정찰을 하는 등 다양한 활용도가 돋보인다. 라스베가스의 세계가전전시회(CES)에서 바르셀로나의 모바일월드콩그레스(MWC)에서 그리고 뉴욕의 장난감전시회 에서도 드론은 스타로 부상했다. 이제 드론은 대중화와 상업적 성공의 기로에 서 있다. 이를 위해서는 기계적 성능이상으로 중요한 것이 드론과 사용자간의 상호작용을 통해 이루어내는 사용자 경험이다. 즉 드론을 얼마나 쉽고 편하고 정확하고 안전하게 조종할 수 있도록 만드는가가 차별화와 경쟁력의 시작이다. 만약 드론이 지금처럼 조종하기 어렵고 심지어 인명과 재산을 위협한다고 인식되면 산업적 잠재성은 그저 한여름 밤의 꿈으로 사그러들 수밖에 없다. 몇 가지 사례를 보자. 지난 2월 미국 Fox TV 생방송에서 Popular Science 잡지 편집장 Dave Mosher는 드론의 안전성에 관해서 말하고 있었다. 그 때 데모를 위해 날던 드론이 갑자기 균형을 잃으면서 추락하였다. 이 사고로 인해 드론이 안전하지 않을 수 있다는 인식이 퍼지게 되었다. 경미한 사고지만 심각한 위협감을 일으키기도 한다. 레이더에 탐지되지 않던 드론이 미국 백악관 앞마당에 추락한 것이 그런 예이다. 어떤 사용자는 재미삼아 드론을 구름 위까지 날려 보냈다. 그러더니 드론이 제어력을 상실하였고, 결국 추락하고 말았다. 다행히도 누군가의 머리 위로 떨어지지는 않았다.

관람석에서 바비큐를 먹으며 경기를 보거나 좀더 가까이 선수들을 볼 수 있는 야구장. 탁 트인 구장으로 경기장 밖에서도 선수들과 관중들을 보면서 함께 즐길 수 있는 야구장. 야구팬들이라면 누구나 미국 메이저리그 야구장에서만 볼 수 있는 풍경을 국내에서도 볼 수 있기를 꿈꾸었을 것이다. 최근 그 꿈이 실현됐다. 바로 지난 3월 19일 시범경기 개막전을 치른 '대구삼성라이온즈파크' 야구장이다. 미국 메이저리그 필라델피아 필리스의 홈구장인 '시티즌스뱅크파크'의 모양을 벤치마킹한 '대구삼성라이온즈파크' 야구장은 국내 최초로 팔각형으로 설계돼 넓은 관람공간과 탁 트인 시야가 특징이다. 지난 2012년 12월 첫 삽을 뜬 후 40여 개월 만에 총사업비 1,666억원을 투입해 지난 3월 완공되었다. '대구삼성라이온즈파크'는 야구 명문인 대구 경북의 자긍심과 함께 대구의 새로운 랜드마크로 자리매김하며 도시브랜드 향상과 더불어 시민들의 놀이, 휴식공간, 나아가 전국의 야구팬들이 찾고 싶은 관광 명소가 될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다. 대구광역시 수성구 연호동에 위치한 대구삼성라이온즈파크는 (주)대우건설컨소시엄이 종합 시공을, (주)백산이엔씨가 냉 난방, 위생, 소방 등 기계설비를 시공했다. 본지는 준공 후 마무리 작업이 한창인 지난 3월 중순 대구삼성라이온즈 파크 현장에서 (주)대우건설 금현철 현장소장과 (주)백산이엔씨(대표 김주환) 김재화 현장소장을 만났다.

세계의 석유자원은 향후 30년의 가채년수 뿐일 것이라는 추정은 이제 상식화된 느낌이다. 그래서 세계 선진국들은 석유를 대신할수 있는 에너지원으로서 석탄의 가스 액화, 수소, 원자력, 태양열광 등의 개발을 추진하고 있다. 아직 우리는 석유의 꿈을 버리지 않고 있으며, 한편으로는 원자력 발전소 건설에 기대하고 있다. 국내에도 태양에너지 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 줄 안다. 고리에 원자발전 제1기를 점화한 우리는 계속 2,3,4의 발전소를 계획하고 있다. 따라서 1990년대 우리 나라 소요에너지의 75%를 원자력에 두게 될 것이라는 전망이고 보면 향후 우리의 생활과 원자력 발전은 불가분의 관계를 이끌어가게 될 것으로 본다. 우리는 지금 육상에서 원자력 발전을 이용하는 단계이나 선진제국은 원자력을 선박 추진력에 이용하는 단계에 있다. 미국을 비롯해서 소련, 영국, 서독, 프랑스, 일본 등이 원자력선 개발에 열을 올리고 있어 앞으로 10년 뒤에는 원자력선 시대의 막이 올려질 것으로 전망된다.

This paper is to analyze the trend and implications of the publication of China's defense and security white papers. To this end the paper is composed of 5 chapters titled instruction; publication details and composition of China's defense and security white paper; the gist of the white paper on national defense and security during the Chinese president Xi Jinping era; the implications of Chinese white paper on national defense and security during the Chinese president Xi Jinping era; and conclusion. The Chinese Ministry of National Defense had published seven books every two years since 1998 to 2010. In 1995, the ministry published a white paper titled 'China's arms control and disarmament' for the first time. In 2013, it published a white paper titled 'The Diversified Employment of China's Armed Forces' and 'China's Military Strategy' in 2015. All have the common characteristic of being a propaganda policy reflecting China's strategic calculations. It seems that China has began to publish defense white papers in a proactive manner, due to the following factors: (1)pressure on China to demand military transparency from neighboring countries such as the United States; (2)the erosion of the 'China threat.' and (3)confidence in the achievement of China's military modernization. The 'active defensive strategy' and the 'strong defense strategy' of Si Jinping are implied in the words "China's dream is a dream of a powerful country and dream of a strong nation is essential to construct a strong nation." His these strategies have raised security concerns for neighboring countries. We need to maintain and reinforce strong ROK-US security cooperation, and hedging strategies to harmoniously promote ROK-China economic cooperation.

This study is an exploration of a Korean-American writer, Hong-Eun's Mong-yu siga. Hong-Eun immigrated to the United States during the colonial rule of the Japanese government. He was a publisher of The New Korea Times, and contributed various literary works to it. The purpose of this study is to analyze his two Mong-yu sigas published in 1935 and 1947 and elucidate their meanings. Using dream as a primary motif, the intention of Mong-yu mode is to achieve desire which is impossible to reach in reality. While his staying in the United States, Hong-Eun could not return his home country for two reasons, that is, political and financial ones. To return Korea desperately, he wrote sigas by adopting Mong-yu mode. His first attempt was reflected as eight pieces of consecutive poetries titled This Mountain In My Dream, I am Home. This Mountain was published on the 25th of April, 1935 and In My Dream, I am Home was contributed from May the 9th of 1935 to July the fourth of the same year. These works were published in the The New Korea Times' poetry column under the pen name of Donghae-soboo , Representing gasa of the enlightenment era, this poetry depicts historical identity of Chosun dynasty, especially focusing on before and after the 1900s. As a result of it, the poetry sketches the ideology of the Middle Ages. His second attempt was A Country and Hometown written as a form of prelude on the 25th of September, 1947. In addition, A Country in My Dream was published as a form of six pieces of consecutive poetry from October the second to November the sixth of 1947. He chose sijo as a major form of poetry, and the image of the poetry seemed to be the continuation of his first attempt. Confronting the reality of the his own country which is divided, the writer expresses his antagonism toward America and Russia. Although he could eventually return his country later, he rationalized himself by saying that his it is not the ideal place to go. Mong-yu mode is a traditional poetic technique which the intellectuals of the Middle Age used to use as one pattern of allegory. In addition to this, in the period of the enlightenment of Korea, Mong-yu was used to avoid the Japanese censorship and experiment on the diverse ways of writing. In terms of literary history, the significance of Hong-Eun's creation of Mong-yu sigas is that Hong-Eun shares the same intention with Korean intellectuals of the enlightenment period.

There would be a long-waited launch of a Korean space launch vehicle(KSLV-I) in NARO Space Center which is located in Goheung, Jeol La Nam Do in Korea. Korea would be the nineth country in the world which could launch space launch vehicle itself. The launch of the 2nd technology satellite of 100kg with KSLV-I would give Korean hope and dream. In addition to the traditional space activities of U.S.A. and Russia, Japan launched the lunar satellite, Kaguya in 2007, China launched the lunar satellite, Change and succeeded in space walk and India launched the lunar satellite Chandrayaan in October, 2008. In this paper we study on the trend of domestic and international development of space launch vehicle considering all these space development activities.

The Roman thinker, Cicero said, "The Nations that rule the sea, rule the world". In the world history, the countries done critical roles, have emphasized the importance of the sea. The world history is called as the histories of the countries which governed the sea, such as Phoenicia, Greece, Carthago, Roma, Portugal, Spain, England, and USA. The sea is not only the political, economical, social and cultural basis, serving as the origin of resources and channel of communication, logistics and distribution but also the area of dreams and imaginations and ground of potentiality and visions. This paper reviewed the major countries and their histories to realize the vision of Korea, super power country of maritime and fishery. Main maritime policies and its core issues and prospects of Korea were reviewed. And on the basis of these reviews, the vision of super power country of maritime and fishery was suggested. The vision, the 5th super power country of maritime and fishery in 2020, and 10th country of maritime technology level in 2020 and their details were proposed also. For achieving the vision, the resurrection of MOMAF is necessary and its reasons and 5 necessities were suggested. And the directions of the resurrection of MOMAF were proposed in terms of two viewpoints, policy/functional and institutional basis. I think Korea, the super power country of maritime and fishery, can be realized only when MOMAF may be resurrected.

This study analyzes the behavior of China in the international context of East Asia based on the in-depth understanding of Confucian Sino-centrism. The rise of China is a dream to be realized for Chinese while actually it is regarded as new threats for the neighboring countries. It is therefore no surprise that the neighboring countries that once subordinated themselves to China voluntarily feel threatened by the resurrection of China. The reason is that China is pursuing hegemony based on China's stronger power rather than seeking culture and morality as they did in the past. The new hegemonic pattern seems not to contribute to the China's profit, only to increase the tension among North East Asia. That's because the neighboring countries are active in expanding military expenses with strengthening ties with the US. In this context, is it possible that China can rise gently without threatening the neighbors? There must be a way. It is that China will be born as a superpower with Confucian morality as the way the Confucian Sino-centrism is intended. When the neighboring countries are impressed by the way the China treats them with moral virtues, the leadership of China will be strengthened of itself. It is the most desirable way of realizing the dream of China.

It has already been a few years since the word Fintech in Korea started to attract attention. These days, they believed that Fintech was just a boom, but these days it is recognized as a catalyst for financial transformation. Large venture companies are also launching demonstration experiments by creating new organizations that can respond to Fintech. It feels like a big tide is coming to the cautious and conservative financial industry. Finance is made up of digital information. Fintech is an evolutionary process in which finance, expressed by digital information, is transformed into information technology (IT) and human economic activities are reorganized. It is FinTech. You won't be able to understand the real effects of Fintech by sticking to individual applications like remittance payments or household account book services. Fintech is an innovation that changes the structure of economic activity itself. In fact, it is from now on that a big impact will come. In other words, now is the time when we are thinking of a dream that we have not yet dreamed of. In this paper, I will examine how fintech originated, spread to Korea, and how it intends to change Korea's finance in the future. Financial institutions have used the fruits of information technology advances in the direction of pursuing stability and stability, without major changes in the way they work. However, the movement of Fintech that started in Silicon Valley in the United States shows that the fruit can be used in other directions. The fruit of technological progress is expected to expand year by year in the future. It is a request of the times to use it to improve user convenience and to pursue innovation that is beneficial to society. We expect the flow of Fintech to accelerate innovation in the Korean financial industry.
