  • 피로 파괴연구의 급격한 발전에 따라 최근의 기계나 구조물들은 많은 분야에서 손상허용설계원리에 근거하여 설계되고 있다. 이러한 상황 하에서 피로파손의 정확한 특성을 밝히는 것은 신뢰성을 고려한 기계나 구조물의 설계에 있어 가장 중요한 요인이 된다. 피로파손은 많은 랜덤요소를 내포하고 있으므로 실험결과 분석 및 수명예측을 분석하기 위해서는 통계학적 해석이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 회전굽힘피로시험을 수행하고 피로수명을 분석하는데 정규분포, 대수분포, 지수분포 및 Weibull분포를 이용하여 실험결과와 비교하고 파손확률을 찾는데 있다.

한강 수계에서의 희토류원소 분포도의 유역별/계절별 분포도 변화

  • 희토류원소 분포도를 이용하여 하천본류의 화학조성에 미치는 각 지류 및 주변 암석들의 영향을 조사하기 위해 한강본류, 남한강, 북한강의 상류 및 하류에서 하천수를 계절별로 채취하여 분석하였다. 한강수내 희토류원소 자료를 PAAS (Post Archean Australian Shale)로 규격화한 분포도 특성은 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 한강의 모든 물시료는 Eu의 정(+)의 이상과 Ce의 부(-)의 이상을 갖고 있다. 둘째 절대농도에 있어서 하기에 채취된 모든 한강 시료는 다른 절기의 시료들보다. 함량이 높다. 셋째로 전반적으로 중희토류(HREE)가 경희토류(LREE)보다. 부화되어 있다. Eu의 이상을 가지고 비교해 볼 때, 한강 본류는 남한강쪽보다는 북한강쪽의 영향을 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과, 하천의 본류에 보다. 많은 영향을 주는 지류를 판단함에 있어서 희토류원소의 분포도자 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 생태 수리학적 측면에서 수질 개선에 기여하는 깔따구들이 흐름 구조에 따라서 어떻게 분포하는지를 파악하기 위해 수리 실험을 수행하였다. ADV로 유속을 측정하였으며, 자기 다른 유속 조건하에서 유기물질과 깔따구들을 투입하였다. 취득한 유속자료를 이용하여 흐름구조를 파악하였으며, 난류특성인 난류 전단응력을 분석하였다. 유기물질과 깔따구들은 상대적으로 유속이 느리고 전단응력이 작게 나타나는 지점에 분포하였다. 깔다구들이 굴을 파고 서식을 하였더라도 흐름에 의해 서식처가 옮겨짐을 확인 하였으며, 서식처 역할을 할 수 있는 반구 구조물 주위에 서식하였다. 유기물질의 퇴적 및 깔따구들의 서식은 주로 흐름 방향 유속 분포에 영향을 받으며, 이차류도 이것들의 분포에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

  • 분포형 수문모형은 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 급속한 발전과 GIS를 바탕으로 한 수문지리공간정보에의 접근성 및 활용성 증가에 따라 근래에 많은 발전을 이루게 되었다. 하지만 물리기반 분포형 수문모형은 입력자료 구축 및 모형구동에 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하며 수문자료가 불충분한 미계측 유역에서는 모형의 구축이 어렵다는 한계점을 지니고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 개념적 격자물수지 기법을 이용하여 집중형 수문모형의 자료구축의 간편성과 분포형 수문모형의 공간적 유출 해석 능력을 동시에 만족할 수 있는 그리고 격자기반 레이더강우자료를 활용할 수 있는 개념적-분포형 수문모형을 개발하였다. 본 수문모형은 GUI 환경으로 개발되었으며, GIS 전처리과정(pre-process) 및 유역의 지형자료 추출 기능을 탑재함으로 지형분석을 위해 GIS 상용 도구에 대한 의존성이 없는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 모형의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여 내린천 유역을 대상으로 유출해석을 실시하였으며 그 결과 적용성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

The Methodology for Extraction of Geochemical Anomalies, Using Regression Formula: an Example from a Granitic Body in Gyeonggi Province (회귀 수식을 이용한 지구화학적 이상분포지역 도출기법: 경기도화강암의 예)

  • Natural geological and environmental processes reflect to element abundances in geological materials on the surface. This study aims to elucidate a possibility of geostatistical application to differentiate geochemical anomalies affected by anthropogenic and geogenic factors. A regional geochemical map was produced using 'inverse distance weight interpolation' method for analytical results of stream sediments «150 11m) which were collected from 2,290 first- to second-order streams over the whole Gyeonggi Province. The Jurassic granitic batholith in the southeastern province was selected as a target for the geostatistical examination. Factor analysis was conducted using 22 elements for stream sediments from 445 drainage basins over the granitic body. Co, Cr, Sc, MgO, Fe$_{2}$O$_{3}$, V, and Ni were grouped with high correlation coefficients and the depletion of the components may reflect the whole-rock chemistry of the granite. Regression analysis was done using Co, Cr, and Sc as dependent variables and other six components as independent variables, and the results were drawn as maps. The maps acquired generally show quite similar distribution patterns with those of concentrations of each variable. The similarity in the spatial patterns between the two maps indicates that the application of regression statistics can be valid for the interpretation of regional geochemical data. However, some components show local discrepancies which may be influenced by secondary factors regardless of the basement lithology. The regression analysis may be effective in extracting local geochemical anomalies which may reflect rather anthropogenic pollutions than geogenic influences.

A Study on Shape Optimization of Distributed Actuators using Time Domain Finite Element Method (시간유한요소법을 이용한 분포형 구동기의 형상최적화에 관한 연구)

  • A dynamic analysis method that freezes a time domain by discretization and solves the spatial propagation equation has a unique feature that provides a degree of freedom on spatial domain compared with the space discretization or space-time discretization finite element method. Using this feature, the time finite element analysis can be effectively applied to optimize the spatial characteristics of distributed type actuators. In this research, the time domain finite element method was used to discretize the model. A state variable vector was used in the discretization to include arbitrary initial conditions. A performance index was proposed on spatial domain to consider both potential and vibrational energy, so that the resulting shape of the distributed actuator was optimized for dynamic control of the structure. It is assumed that the structure satisfies the final rest condition using the realizable control scheme although the initial disturbance can affect the system response. Both equations on states and costates were derived based on the selected performance index and structural model. Ricatti matrix differential equations on state and costate variables were derived by the reconfiguration of the sub-matrices and application of time/space boundary conditions, and finally optimal actuator distribution was obtained. Numerical simulation results validated the proposed actuator shape optimization scheme.

  • Discrete topology optimization processes of structures start from an initial design domain which is described by the topology of constant material densities. During optimization procedures, the structural topology changes in order to satisfy optimization problems in the fixed design domain, and finally, the optimization produces material density distributions with optimal topology. An introduction of initial holes in a design domain presented by Eschenauer et at. has been utilized in order to improve the optimization convergence of boundary-based shape optimization methods by generating finite changes of design variables. This means that an optimal topology depends on an initial topology with respect to topology optimization problems. In this study, it is investigated that various optimal topologies can be yielded under constraints of usable material, when partial solid phases are deposited in an initial design domain and thus initial topology is finitely changed. As a numerical application, structural topology optimization of a simple MBB-Beam is carried out, applying partial circular solid phases with varying sizes to an initial design domain.

Characteristics of low temperature pyrolysis and liquid product distribution of ABS plastics (ABS계 플라스틱의 저온열분해 및 액상생성물 분포 특성)

  • Characteristics of pyrolysis and liquid product distribution of ABS plastics have been studied in the thermogravimetric(TG) reactor and bomb microreactor. Pyrolysis reactions were performed at temperature $400\sim450^{\circ}C$ and yield of each pyrolytic product was obtained by the weight measurement method. The molecular weight distributions of liquid products were determined by the GC-SIMDIS method. It was observed that solid residue which could not be detected in the thermogravimetric experiments was significantly formed in the batch-type microreactor. It was found that the yield and average molecular weight of liquid products were decreased with the increase of reaction temperature and time. but the formation of styrene monomer was significantly increased. The chain-end scission rate parameters were determined to be 54.1kcal/mole far ABS by the Arrhenius plot.

  • This paper introduces an Eulerian long- range transport model coupled with a mesoscale atmospheric model. The model has been applied to the simulation of tracer distribution during two cases of Cross Appalachian Tracer Experiment (CAPIEX). Meteorological fields are Predicted by CSU RAMS with four-dimensional assimilation and tracer transport is computed from an Eulerian dispersion model. The atmospheric model with a four-dimensional assimilation has produced meteorological fields that agree well with observation and has proved its high potential as a generator of meteorological data for a long-range transport model. The Present transport model Produces reasonable simulations of observed tracer transport although it was partially successful in the case with complicated structure in observed concentration. Model with Bott's 2nd-order scheme performs as well as that with Bott's 4th-order scheme and increased explicit horizontal diffusivity. Diagnosis of the model results indicates that the Present long-range transport model has a good potential as a framework for the acid deposition model with detailed cloud and chemical processes.

  • Heavy metals (Fe, Mn, Cr, Co, Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb) were determined in ninety-one surface sediments collected from Kwangyang Bay, south coast of Korea. The data show that the Fe, Cr, Ni, and Zn distribution in the bay can be described by metal vs. grain size relationship. However, the distribution pattern of Mn, Co, Cu and Pb were found to be changed because they are anthropogenically enriched to sediment. Correlation matrix and R-mode factor analyses revealed that two important factors controlling the distribution of metals in the bay are grain size and anthropogenic input.
