  • 습지는 해안선 정화, 홍수조절, 수질정화 이외에도 문화적 여가활동 및 관광 등 다양한 기능을 하고 있다. 이처럼 습지의 기능 및 다양성을 보전을 위해서는 습지에 유량이 유지되어야 하지만, 기후변화로 인한 온도 상승과 불규칙한 강우 패턴으로 인해 습지의 유량이 유지되지 못하고 육화되고 있다. 습지의 육화 및 건조화의 지연 및 방지를 위해서는 습지의 유량변동을 파악이 중요하며 국내외적으로는 물수지 방법이 많이 이용되고 있다. 하지만 산지습지의 경우 규모가 작고 고립되어 있어 물수지방법을 통한 유량변동 분석 연구가 하천습지나 연안습지에 비해 상대적으로 적은 추세이다. 산지습지는 퇴적물 축척으로 형성된 환경변화의 모습을 담고 있으며 또한 산지습지와 같은 특수 환경에 서식하는 생물의 서식지 역할 등 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경상남도에 위치한 산지습지인 장군습지를 대상으로 삼았으며 물수지 방법을 기반으로 하는 SWAT모형을 이용하여 유출특성 분석을 하였다. 또한 기상자료로는 주변 기상관측소와 장군습지 내 설치한 강수계, 온 습도계, 수위계를 활용하여 장군습지 내 유입량과 유출량을 분석하였으며 본 결과를 통해 향후 장군습지 보전을 위한 유지관리 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • This study was conducted to distinguish adult morphology of the giant water bug (Lethocerus deyrollei) between over-wintered (OLD) and new-born (NEW) populations using materials collected from Gyodong island in Gyeonggi-do, Korea, as well as individuals reared in the laboratory (LAB population) as a control. As a result, no fundamental differences were found in external body structure between OLD, NEW, and LAB populations. However, marginal area of basal procoxa in ventral prothorax and jointed part of forefemur and foretibia were greatly worn in the OLD population. Mid-claws were shorter than 0.5 times the length of the 2nd mid-tarsus; the membranous margin of hemelytra was greatly worn; and hairs of the 5th abdominal tergum were greatly reduced in the OLD population.

Effects of Green Tea-Soybean Paste on Weights and Serum Lipid Profiles in Rats Fed High Fat Diet (녹차 된장이 고지방식이를 급여한 흰쥐의 체중 및 혈청 지질성분에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of green tea-soybean paste on weight-changes and serum lipid profiles in rats fed high fat diet were investigated. Sprague-Barley male rats divided into five groups were fed five different diets for 10 weeks: B group, basal diet H group, high fat-diet containing 0.5% cholesterol+15% lard H-S group, high fat diet containing soybean paste H-0.6GS group, high fat diet containing 0.6% green tea-soybean paste H-4GS group, high fat diet containing 4% green tea-soybean paste. H group showed highest weight gain (p<0.05). Addition of green-tea soybean paste to high-fat diet significantly decreased weight gain, H-4GS group showing highest weight loss (p<0.05). No significant differences in food efficiency ratio and total food intake were found among groups. Liver weight of H group was highest. Addition of green tea-soybean paste to high fat diet significantly reduced liver weight (p<0.05, Table 2). Concentrations of glucose, uric acid, bilirubin, and total protein were similar among all group. Mean GPT values of H-4GS group were significantly different from these of H- and H-S groups (p<0.05). H-S, H-0.6GS, and H-4GS groups had significantly lower triglyceride and total cholesterol, and higher HDL than H-group (p<0,05). H-4GS group had significantly lower serum triglyceride than H-0.6GS group (p<0.05).

  • 습지는 생산성이 높은 생태계이며 범람원, 수문저장, 오염원의 분해 및 침전의 기능과 동시에 동식물의 서식처를 제공하는 인간의 복지에 매우 유용한 자연공간이다. 습지의 생태적, 수문학적 기능을 유지하기 위해서는 습지 내 유량의 확보가 필수적이다. 따라서, 습지를 유지하고 관리하기 위해서는 유량 변동을 분석하여 유량 변동에 따른 습지 관리를 할 필요가 있다. 우리나라의 산지습지는 주변과 고립되어 있어 외부의 위협에 민감하고, 특이하며 다양한 생물상이 다양하게 분포되어 있어 생태학적 가치가 매우 크다. 특히 양산지역 산지에는 고산습지가 많아 멸종위기종, 천연기념물, 희귀동물이 살고 있는 청정지역이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 야생생물이 분포하는 보전가치가 높은 산지습지인 경남 양산 장군습지를 대상으로 습지 내 유량 변동에 따른 습지 유지관리방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 습지유역으로 유입되는 물의 양과 유출되는 물의 양의 차이를 분석하는 물수지 방법을 적용하여 습지 내의 유량 변동을 분석하였다.

  • It is very important to analyze water balance in the mountain wetland for the sustainable management of the wetland. In this study, the SWAT model was used to analyze the water balance of Janggun wetland located in Geumjeong mountain of Gyungnam province, Korea. The data such as rainfall and water level measured in Janggun wetland were used for water balance analysis and from the analysis we have known that the rainfall of 10mm within 8 days is required for maintaining an appropriate water level in Janggun wetland. Also, water balance analysis in the wetland for the period of 2009 to 2017 was performed by using hydro-meteorological data obtained from Yangsan weather station which is located around Janggun wetland. From the analysis results, we have known that the amount of rainfall was relatively small in 2010, 2012 and 2015 and water shortage was occurred in the wetland. Especially, water shortage was occurred during the summer that we had intensive rainfall for very short time and faster removal of the runoff from the wetland. Therefore, we may need extend water courses from a wetland watershed to the wetland for preventing land-forming of the wetland and also store water by banking up the wetland for preventing the decrease of water level in the wetland.

Rhodochrostone - A New Sedimentary Rock from the Janggun Mine, Korea (장미암(薔薇岩)-장군광산산(將軍鑛山産) 신종(新種) 퇴적암(堆積岩))

  • A new rock name, rhodochrostone is proposed for the sedimentary rock from the Janggun Mine, Korea, which consist mainly of rhodochrosite. Systematic classification of rhodochrositic rocks was made for the rocks of rhodochrosite-calcite-quartz and rhodochrosite-quartz-clay, respectively. According to the writer's new scheme of classification, the manganese carbonate beds of the Janggun Mine, Korea consist mainly of rhodochrostone and siliceous rhodochrostone, with minor clayey siliceous rhodochrostone. The underlying and overlying carbonate rocks consist of high-manganiferous dolostone, moderate-manganiferous dolostone and low-manganiferous dolostone. The same scheme of classification is applicable to the similar manganiferous rocks in other countries. Mineralogical, petrological and chemical studies were made.

Chemistry and Dehydration Behavior of (Ca, Mg)-buserite from the Janggun Mine, Korea (장군광산에서 산출되는 (Ca, Mg)-부서라이트의 화학조성과 탈수현상에 관한 연구)

  • The natural (Ca, Mg)-buserite has been identified from the manganese oxideores of the Janggun mine, Korea, which have been formed by supergene weathering of sedimentary-metamorphic rhodochrosite. It occurs together with rancieite forming one very fine-grained buserite-rancieite flake. This (Ca, Mg)-buserite-rancieite occurs as microcystalline flaky crystals. It precipitated around the fine-grained takanelite aggregate. Electron microprobe analyses give the formula ($Ca_{.08}Mg_{.07}Mn_{.05}^{2+})Mn_{.89}^{4+}O_2{\cdot}1.46H_2O$ for (Ca, Mg)-buserite. The dehydration experiments by relative humidity control and heating as well as rehydration experiment by relative humidity control show that (Ca, Mg)-buserite dehydrates completely at 90$^{\circ}C$ and rehydrates up to 27% of the original state. The dehydration at 26% RH (corresponding to heating to about 40$^{\circ}C$) is characterized by thedecrease in the decrease in the intensity of 9.86${\AA}$ peak with slight shifting to 9.60${\AA}$. It is due to the loss of weakly bound water molecules in the interlayer. The dehydration from 40$^{\circ}C$ to 90$^{\circ}C$ is characterized by the gradual shifting of 001 peak from 9.6${\AA}$ to 7.42${\AA}$. It is due to the loss of weakly bound water molecules in the interlayer.

  • 이 연구는 Sentaurus Process를 이용하여 실리콘(Si) 웨이퍼에 각각의 불순물들의 도핑 농도를 모의실험 하여 공정 방법과 순서, 온도, 깊이에 따른 도핑 농도의 변화를 나타내었다. 입력한 값에 대한 수치를 한눈에 알아 볼 수 있으며 공정이나 깊이, 도핑 농도에 따라 불순물의 집중도와 공정 방법에 따른 소자 특성의 변화를 한눈에 알아 볼 수 있어서 Sentaurus Process를 이용한 연구를 통해 우수한 소자를 개발하는데 도움이 되리라 본다. 이 연구에서는 공정 파라미터 값의 변화에 따른 도핑 분포를 Sentaurus Process 시뮬레이션을 통하여 관찰할 것이다.

Characteristics of Precipitates and Geochemistry of Mine and Leachate Water in Janggun Mine (장군광산 갱내수와 침출수의 지화학적 및 침전물의 특성 연구)

  • The Janggun mine (Longitude $E129^{\circ}$ 03' 40", Latitude $N36^{\circ}$ 51' 19") was once operated as an underground mine and recently significant amount of mine and leachate water has been discharged from the mine adits and tailing dumps. Mine and leachate waters are characterized by neutral to weakly basic pH values (6.81-9.59). Major cations and anions have concentrations between 6.70-129.80 mg/L of Mg, 289.29-661.02 mg/L of Ca, 4.74-14.38 mg/L of Mn and 1205.00-2448.69 mg/L of $SO{_4}^{2-}$. Brownish yellow precipitates that found in the stream bottom consist of poorly crystallized 2-line ferrihydrite ($Fe_2O_3{\cdot}0.5H_2O$. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) photographs show that brownish yellow precipitates consisted of micro-sized granular particles of about $0.1{\mu}m$ in diameter. Semi-quantitative energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) analyses show that these samples contained mainly Fe with minor Mn, Ca, Si and As.
