Northeast Asia is changing rapidly, including becoming an increasingly important part of the world economy. Various logistical systems and networks are being established in this area, including South and North Korea, China, Japan, Russia, and Mongolia. Thus, a new systematic logistical network and development strategy is required. The division of the Korean peninsula has for a long time made the region ineffective in terms of land logistics. South Korea's connection to Eurasia is blocked by North Korea, which means it is essentially treated as an island. Furthermore, South Korea does not have an efficient logistics system or effective vision and strategy. Northeast Asia has the potential to be one of the largest economic communities in the world, similar to the EU and North America. Thus, a united Korea can play an important role as the land bridge of Northeast Asia and the logistical hub of the region. This study reviews the logistical position, tasks, and problems of the Korean peninsula and suggests a desirable development strategy and vision. Specifically, after examining the conditions for a land logistical system, focusing on railways, this study proposes several future-oriented development strategies and tactics that will position the peninsula as a logistical hub in Northeast Asia. We anticipate that this study will serve as the basis for future research that will investigate the topics presented here in more detail.

The traditional four-step demand model has limits in that it cannot reasonably reflect the logistic characteristics of freight transportation system. This is likely to cause problems when estimating the effects of logistics facilities. In order to enhance the reliability and availability of the freight demand estimation procedure it is needed to develop freight demand model which takes into account the logistic characteristics of firms. In the late 1990s, a number of researches on freight demand model considering logistics behaviors began in Europe while a few studies in the area have been conducted recently in Korea. This paper reviews recent advances of the freight model developments in the context of logistic behavior consideration. The main topics include 1) commodity classification, 2) P/C(Production- Consumption) estimation, 3) logistics network representation, 4) logistics chain model, and 5) commodity flow survey. In addition, this paper proposes future direction of the freight demand models with respect to the consideration of logistics characteristics.

Organic compost from the food waste and poultry manure is useful for a soil conditioner and fertilizer. The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of the food waste compost(FC) and poultry manure compost(PC) separately on the growth of young radish and the change of soil properties. Applying 3, 6, $9kg/m^2$ of FC and 1, 2, $3kg/m^2$ of PC, the cultivation of young radish was carried out in the crop field. In young radish applied with FC, leaf length was positively increased with the increasing usage of the compost. Number and area of leaves, and weight of leaf and root were peaked at applying rate of $6kg/m^2$. Growth of young radish with FC of $9kg/m^2$ was lowest in the initial period of the cultivation, and it is regarded that the applying rate of $9kg/m^2$ was detrimental to the germination of the young radish. In young radish applied with PC, the growth rate lowest at applying of $2kg/m^2$ than any other applying rate. Soil properties as bulk density and EC were considerably improved according to applying of food-waste and poultry manures compost. It should be considered to be needed additional study about the accurate applying rate and detailed investigation for soil properties.

Concerning the political situations of Korea, after the coming of MB Administration the blockades between South and North has been deepened. Because of stopping of the tourism of Diamond Mountain, the Cheonan ship accidents and the ** bombardment of Yeonpyung island, the situation of confrontation of South and North is enlarged. After the death of Kim Jong-il, on 17 Dec. 2011, the new situations are opened in North Korea(NK). On the basis of economic cooperation between South and North, various logistical cooperation of South and North has been progressed. On November of 2002, the 1st Shipping Cooperation Meeting of South and North, which may be a basis of Shipping Agreement has been discussed. And the railway between South and North has been connected. This study, screening the change of South and North conditions, analyzed the tasks and current conditions of South and North logistics based on economic cooperation, with the previous researches and data of South and North Korea. And it grouped and suggested future development directions and practical agenda, after considering the recent changes. Furthermore it proposed the medium-long term logistical system of Korea peninsula and future strategies and vision. To solve the confrontation situations the role of South Korea is more important.

With the maturity and fierce competition of domestic logistics market, Korea government is actively working on the overseas investments in global logistics market after establishing the basic plan since 2006. In particular, India is selected one of promising countries for logistics investments since it has more 1.1 billion people and is regarded as post-China. In fact, a number of global logistics enterprises have started their businesses in the logistics market of India so that the competition already started. In this regard, it is highly necessary to find out feasible investment projects and then detemin the priority of the alternatives for successful investments. Therefore this study proposes a fuzzy-based AHP model by which the overseas investment problem was systematically structured and then evaluated. The model was established by exploiting a fuzzy theory and AHP for capturing the inexactness and vagueness of information. The results show that the investment of port operations is the number one priority in the India's logistics market and ODCY operations, road transportations, forwarding operations, inland depot operations in order. Finally the proposed model will help Korea's policy makers to have a better reliable investment strategy.

This study analyzed research trends on smart logistics in Korea by conducting social network analysis (SNA) using R. The purpose of this study is to enhance the understanding of the smart logistics field along with the smart logistics status and policy review, and to suggest implications and future research tasks. The analysis period and subjects were 128 academic journal papers on smart logistics-related topics over the past 10 years (2011-2020), and the results were divided into the first half (2011-2015) and the second half (2016-2020). The analysis of the study was carried out step-by-step through frequency analysis, network centrality analysis, and visualization. As a result of the study, the quantitative increase and diversification of the research field were confirmed. It was also confirmed that the concentration of research on core areas increased by increasing the proportion of duplicate keywords. In addition, keywords with high betweenness centrality and degree centrality score such as Logistics, Authentication, Smart, Service, RFID, Technology, and Revolution were presented. Lastly, this study reviewed the structure with a focus on betweenness centrality after visualizing the network with main keywords. As a result, early research was focused on the field of logistics, and after 2016, it was confirmed that the center of research was diversifying and expanding with the development of the 4^th industrial revolution and major technologies.

중국은 지난 1978년 개혁개방정책을 실시한 이후 연평균 9%를 상회하는 경제성장률을 기록하였고 이는 중국발 수출입화물의 급격한 증가로 이어졌다. 그러나 폭증하는 수출입화물에도 불구하고 중국은 항만인프라의 부족으로 인근 부산항을 이용해 왔고 이것이 세계적인 부산항으로 부상하는데 결정적 기여를 했다는 것은 사설이다. 그러나 부산항이 처리한 환적화물의 경우 2002년에 32.5%였던 환적화물 증가세가 2005년에는 8.1%로 낮아졌으며, 2006년에도 전년대비 0.6%로 기록하면서 성장세가 크게 둔화되고 있다. 이 같은 상황에 처하게 되자 우리나라는 2006년 1월 19일 진해신항 개항과 더불어 기존의 '동북아 중심 국가 추진전략'과 병행하여 '국제물류 네트워크 강화를 통한 고부가가치 물류 허브화 전략'을 수립하여 시행하고 있다. 이 전략은 앉아서 환적화물을 기다리던 수동적인정책에서 벗어나 물류체계의 혁신을 통한 물류 네트워크 확대/ 적극적인 대외 협력 등을 통해 우리 항만이 기업과 환적화물의 안정적인 유치기반을 조성하는 한편, 물류와 금융, 건설, IT 등 관련 산업과의 연계를 통해 우리 물류기업이 글로벌 기업으로 성장하고 세계로 진출할 수 있는 진해신항의 환적화물 유치방안을 마련하여 우리나라 경제성장의 동력이자 미래 경제 전략의 중요한 밑거름이 될 수 있다.

This paper is aimed to analysis the logistics system of the Jeju island. Jeju island has a special feature about logistics system different from inland. In recent gradually increase of the jeju freight volumes but it has some problems about the port facilities shortage. We try to find the problems of the jeju and propose that an improvement plan.

Korea has the plans to improve nation and corporate global competitiveness through reducing the logistics costs. Ministry of Knowledge Economy, as the government department of in charge of the plan, establish industrial logistics policies in 2002 and 2007 and it's about time to set up the third industrial logistics policy in 2012. There are new trends for the logistics environment in terms of environment-friendly logistics, logistics securities, win-win collaboration etc. This study propose some harmonious plans between logistic productivity and the new trends in the field of logistics. For the purpose of that, we have evaluated the second industrial logistics policy. We propose the vision and objectives of the new industrial logistics policy. The vision is entering the line of industrial logistics developed nations through the sustainable logistics innovation, and the objects are smart & green logistics, win-win collaboration, lead the new logistics trends etc. We also propose the set the system and rules to push promote the new plan. In addition, industrial logistics is the new terminology setting out use by Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

This study analyzes the influence of the logistics quality of Chinese internet shopping mall on the customer satisfaction. This study also analyzes the influence of the customer satisfaction on the word-of-mouth intention. Then this study examines whether there is a difference among the influences of the logistics quality on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' traits. As a result, when it comes to the logistics quality, carriage, after service and kindness influence customer satisfaction and the customer satisfaction influences word-of-mouth intention similarly. And this research reveals that the logistics quality can not differently influence on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' gender and ages.
