  • RFID는 각종 서비스 산업은 물론 물류, 산업 현장, 제조 공장과 물품의 흐름이 있는 곳이면 어디에서나 적용이 가능하여 사용되고 있으며, 사회 여러 분야로부터 큰 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 이와 같은 상황을 반영하여 ISO/IEC의 JTC1/SC31 전문위원회를 중심으로 RFID 글로벌 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 국내에서도 RFID 기술 및 응용 분야가 확대되고 있어 이의 조기 구축을 통한 관련 기술 발전 및 세계 시장 진출의 기회 확보를 위해 국제 표준에 부합하는 RFID용 주파수 할당 및 관련 기술기준 제반 규정을 정비할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 현재 국내에는 13.56MHz대와 2.45GHz대 RFID에 대한 기술기준이 제정되어 있으나 새로운 기술 발전 및 응용에 부합되도록 시급히 개정되어야 하며 또한 세계적으로 대두되고 있는 UHF대 RFID에 대한 기술기준 제정도 필요하다. 본 고에서는 RFID의 각 주파수 대역별 시스템에 대한 기술기준을 제정하기 위한 기반구축을 위해 국제적인 표준화 동향 및 새로운 기술 등에 관하여 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 국내 기술기준 제.개정(안) 도입 방향에 대해서 제시하였다.

  • 수출및 유통산업에 핵심적인 역할을 하는 골판지 상자 시장에 긴급상황이 발생하였다. 2월 12일 현재 골판지상자 생산하는데 약 3-4일간의 지체현상이 나타나고 원자재 부족이 수도권 및 지방을 망라, 속출하고 있는 실정이어서 골판지포장업계 관련 모든 주체는 가수요를 자제하고 근본적인 해결책강구에 협력해야 하지만, 개별적 이해가 앞서 원만한 수습책을 내기가 어려운 상황입니다. 또한 최근 칠레 강진의 여파가 구리가격 인상만이 아니라, 국내 최대 펄프 수입국의 펄프 공급 중단에 따른 국내 제지업계의 생산차질이 심각히 우려되는 문제점을 자료화 하였습니다. 제지업계, 특히 골판지상자 제조업계는 여러 가지의 요인이 중첩되어 가격 급등의 아픔과 원지 부족으로 생산 차질이 불가피할 것이라는 예측이 여기저기서 나오고 있어 매우 어수선합니다. 따라서 포장재 구입의 낭비요소를 제거한 적정포장 구입 질서가 정착되어 포장재가 없어서 제품이 포장되지 않는 사태가 나오지 않기를 바라는 심정으로 보고서를 작성하였사오니 관련 업계에서는 업무에 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 실현 가능성이 높아지면서 그 핵심 요소로 RFID 기술이 대두되고 있다. 지금까지의 RFID 시장은 주로 트랜스폰더, 리더 등 하드웨어 중심의 성장이었으나, 최근 기존 솔루션과의 통합 및 데이터 수집,제어,관리 등을 지원하는 RFID 미들웨어의 중요성에 대한 인식이 확산되고 있다. Task Management System은 RFID 미들웨어를 구성하는 내부 컴포넌트로써 시간 또는 리더로부터 수집된 데이터 값 등의 여러 조건을 분석하여 사전에 정의된 규칙에 따라 일련의 필요한 태스크를 수행한다. 기존의 RFID 미들웨어들은 대부분 단순한 형태의 시스템 태스크의 수행을 지원하고 있으나, 실제 유통 및 물류 시스템 개발의 효율을 높이기 위해서는 그러한 시스템 태스크의 수행 뿐 아니라 상위의 비즈니스 프로세스와 연계된 비즈니스 태스크의 수행을 지원하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문은 시스템 태스크와 비즈니스 태스크를 지원하는 Task Management System의 설계 방법과 그 기반이 되는 Rule 관리 방법을 제시한다.

'2021 Eurasia Packaging Istanbul' Report ('2021 터키이스탄불 포장전시회' 참관기)

  • (사)한국포장협회(회장 임경호)가 '2021 터키 이스탄불 포장전시회(Eurasia Packaging Istanbul)'에 참가해 한국관을 운영했다. 10월 20일부터 23일까지 터키 이스탄불 Tuyap Istanbul Fair Convention and Congress Center에서 열린 이번 전시회에는 포장제품, 포장재료, 포장산업을 위한 서비스, 포장디자인서비스, 종이 및 판지 포장 관련 제품 및 기술, 컨버팅기술, 포장기계 및 장비, 포장 재활용기술, 물류서비스 등이 소개됐다. 한국포장협회는 7개사, 7개 부스 규모로 한국관을 마련해 우리나라의 우수한 포장 기술 및 포장재를 유럽시장에 선보였다. 이번 전시회의 한국관 구성에 참여한 (주)서일의 김시범 과장이 '2021 터키 이스탄불 포장전시회(Eurasia Packaging Istanbul)'의 참관기를 작성해주었다. 참관기를 통해 생생한 현장의 소리를 전할 수 있는 기회를 김 과장에게 지면을 빌어 감사의 인사를 전한다.

Evaluating Reverse Logistics Networks with Centralized Centers : Hybrid Genetic Algorithm Approach (집중형센터를 가진 역물류네트워크 평가 : 혼합형 유전알고리즘 접근법)

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) approach to effectively solve the reverse logistics network with centralized centers (RLNCC). For the proposed HGA approach, genetic algorithm (GA) is used as a main algorithm. For implementing GA, a new bit-string representation scheme using 0 and 1 values is suggested, which can easily make initial population of GA. As genetic operators, the elitist strategy in enlarged sampling space developed by Gen and Chang (1997), a new two-point crossover operator, and a new random mutation operator are used for selection, crossover and mutation, respectively. For hybrid concept of GA, an iterative hill climbing method (IHCM) developed by Michalewicz (1994) is inserted into HGA search loop. The IHCM is one of local search techniques and precisely explores the space converged by GA search. The RLNCC is composed of collection centers, remanufacturing centers, redistribution centers, and secondary markets in reverse logistics networks. Of the centers and secondary markets, only one collection center, remanufacturing center, redistribution center, and secondary market should be opened in reverse logistics networks. Some assumptions are considered for effectively implementing the RLNCC The RLNCC is represented by a mixed integer programming (MIP) model using indexes, parameters and decision variables. The objective function of the MIP model is to minimize the total cost which is consisted of transportation cost, fixed cost, and handling cost. The transportation cost is obtained by transporting the returned products between each centers and secondary markets. The fixed cost is calculated by opening or closing decision at each center and secondary markets. That is, if there are three collection centers (the opening costs of collection center 1 2, and 3 are 10.5, 12.1, 8.9, respectively), and the collection center 1 is opened and the remainders are all closed, then the fixed cost is 10.5. The handling cost means the cost of treating the products returned from customers at each center and secondary markets which are opened at each RLNCC stage. The RLNCC is solved by the proposed HGA approach. In numerical experiment, the proposed HGA and a conventional competing approach is compared with each other using various measures of performance. For the conventional competing approach, the GA approach by Yun (2013) is used. The GA approach has not any local search technique such as the IHCM proposed the HGA approach. As measures of performance, CPU time, optimal solution, and optimal setting are used. Two types of the RLNCC with different numbers of customers, collection centers, remanufacturing centers, redistribution centers and secondary markets are presented for comparing the performances of the HGA and GA approaches. The MIP models using the two types of the RLNCC are programmed by Visual Basic Version 6.0, and the computer implementing environment is the IBM compatible PC with 3.06Ghz CPU speed and 1GB RAM on Windows XP. The parameters used in the HGA and GA approaches are that the total number of generations is 10,000, population size 20, crossover rate 0.5, mutation rate 0.1, and the search range for the IHCM is 2.0. Total 20 iterations are made for eliminating the randomness of the searches of the HGA and GA approaches. With performance comparisons, network representations by opening/closing decision, and convergence processes using two types of the RLNCCs, the experimental result shows that the HGA has significantly better performance in terms of the optimal solution than the GA, though the GA is slightly quicker than the HGA in terms of the CPU time. Finally, it has been proved that the proposed HGA approach is more efficient than conventional GA approach in two types of the RLNCC since the former has a GA search process as well as a local search process for additional search scheme, while the latter has a GA search process alone. For a future study, much more large-sized RLNCCs will be tested for robustness of our approach.

  • Recently, various attempts are made to increase the efficiency of railway freight transport including bulk cement, the most important transport item of railway transport market. The major seven cement companies have started common use of private bulk cement car since April 2008 for the efficiency of railway freight transport. At that time, major seven cement companies owned 75% of whole bulk cement car. Railway companies forecasted that this project will decrease the amount of cost and transport time of freight car. With these data, it analyzed the effectiveness of the joint use of freight car on actual used data.

Competition and deconcentration of logistics companies in Vietnam focusing on domestic freight forwarders (베트남 물류기업의 경쟁 및 탈 집중화: 베트남 포워더를 중심으로)

  • The main objective of this study is to measure the concentration and deconcentration of the domestic freight forwarding system which illustrate the development trends in this industry. In this study, Herfindal-Hirschman index (HHI), shift-share analysis (SSA), and GINI coefficient combined with Lorenz curves were employed to investigate the domestic freight forwarders. The results are as follows: first, the HHI was used to assess the concentration of domestic freight forwarders in Vietnam. The downward trend from 0.117 in 2008 to 0.083 in 2018 indicate the deconcentration of domestic freight forwarders in Vietnam. Second, the SSA results indicated that the company Transimex showed the best performance with a shift effect of million VND 1,906,515 and a ABSGR value of million VND 2,158,232. Third, the GINI index go down from 0.468 to 0.393 in 2008-2018 as follow and the Lorenz curves covered a large part which make more demonstrate the deconcentration trend of freight forwarding in Vietnam. The results show that deconcentration is a trend in 2008-2018. The results of this study provides relevant data on freight forwarders which are not easily accessible to related stakeholders.

  • This paper provides a method to implement IT system for supply chain management problem The fundamental scheduling issues that arise in the pickup delivery system are optimizing the system with the minimum cost, the maximum throughput and the service level. This study is concerned with the development of the customer responsive pickup-delivery system based on e-logistics and demand chain management. Through this study, the pickup-delivery problem of the vehicle using the GIS PDP and GUI- type computer programs are formulated. The computational results show that the proposed method is very effective on a set of test problems.

  • Deepening of the global competitive environment due to changes in operating environment and business, domestic and abroad companies in automotive industry are trying to optimize their production and logistics, to enhance their supply chain competitiveness and to promote information strategic planning to maximize their IT-enabled capabilities. In particular, the automotive industry is showing the various efforts to build the demand-based production system for responding to the market changes and preparing the global production and sales system. Despite of their various effors, the IT deployment and utilization levels of parts suppliers in the field of production/logistics companies are shown as higher in comparison with other area supplies, but the levels are shown as a very low condition compared to the parts suppliers of other manufacturing sectors. In this sense, the subject of this study, 'A' company (SMEs), has the challenges for improving the IS utilization and the accuracy of the information system according to the inefficiency of manual and field validation. Consequently, to improve and enhance the utilization of information systems, A company is carrying out the project to improve the ERP and POP operations by in-house approach, but they have shown the limitation in introducing and applying the latest technology.

E-Business and Transaction Cost: Applications to Environment and Glocalization (e-비즈니스와 거래비용: 환경과 글로컬화에의 적용)

  • Recent lifeline with Internet and smart-phone is a new ICT-based revolution that has transformed the structure of economics and business activities in digital economy. This paper deals with some economic perspectives on the conceptual concerns on transaction costs and its applications to energy and environments, and glocalization strategies of e-business. First, we consider substantial differences between offline and online channel transactions and categorize three different aspects of transaction costs in the purchasing process in both channels. Second, we examine the impacts of e-business that affect sustainable environments and provide some considerations on energy savings, product-process design, and logistics. Finally, we present some opportunities and challenges posted by global e-business and outline the economics of networking in achieving enhanced performance and competitive advantage through glocalization strategies of e-business.
