건설정책 - 공생발전.선진건설문화 정착

  • '건설산업의 지속 발전 기반 강화'를 비전으로 한 향후 5년간의 건설정책 청사진이 제시됐다. 국토해양부(장관 권도엽)는 지난 2월 20일 '제4차 건설산업진흥기본계획' 고시를 통해 건설산업의 환경변화를 반영한 새로운 비전과 전략을 수립하고, (1) 건설산업 효율성 강화 및 산업구조 견실화 (2) 건설산업 성장동력 강화 (3) 공생발전 및 선진 건설문화 정착 등 세 가지 정책목표를 제시했다. 본지는 건설산업의 질적 성장을 위한 제4차 건설산업진흥기본계획의 주요 내용을 게재한다.

  • 서울인쇄센터(이사장 조정석)는 인쇄업계 경영자를 대상으로 새로운 인쇄 환경의 변화와 신기술을 접할 수 있도록 '새로운 인쇄기술 환경과 경영전략'이란 주제로 7월 한 달간 교육을 실시했다. 인쇄산업과 연관성이 있는 다양한 분야의 전문가들을 초빙하여 이루어진 이번 교육을 통해 전문지식 함양은 물론 공동 관심사에 대한 정보 교류의 장이 되었다는 평가다. 이번 교육은 인쇄정보센터 2층 교육장에서 매주 월.수.금 오전 7시부터 8시 30분까지 1시간 30분씩 진행됐다. 교육 첫날인 7월 2일에는 한국 하이델베르그(주) 김범식 사장이 '세계 인쇄시장 및 기자재의 최신 동향'이란 내용으로 교육이 진행됐다. 다음은 김범식 사장의 강연 내용을 요약한 것이다.

  • This paper examines the role of corporate design as a marketing process through a theoretical review of the development process of corporate design. Corporate design allows us to conceptualize the intangible consumer needs of a target and make possible the strategy of corporate design. This corporate design approach is to be organized like a marketing approach, so that it can produce outcomes of corporate design. The research was conducted in order to see whether the process of commercial design and its visualization help express the identity of the product, and optimize the direct and indirect experience of it. The rationality of corporate design is created by this process, and design essentially attains creativity in this process. In this research, the author tries to present design process in detail, demonstrate the basis of creative design strategy at the final stage, propose an ideal model of corporate design, where design can be performed creatively and harmoniously on the base of relevant data.

Exploring on 'Go Global' Barriers of Chinese Inner Mongolia Cashmere POEs (중국 내몽고 캐시미어 민영기업의 해외시장 진출 장벽에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study explores the barrier factors of Chinese private-owned enterprises in overseas expansion in terms of corruption, political risk, market fluctuation, cultural difference, and firms resource endowments. To explore the existing practical backgrounds, it was investigated to private-owned enterprises dealing with foreign export companies where run business in Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. The result shows that the corruption and political risks of host countries do not have significant influence on business performance in 'Go global' strategy, while the market fluctuation of host countries has a negative effect on business performance. Cultural difference has a negative effect on business performance, and enterprises' resource endowments have a positive effect on business performance in 'Go global' strategy. Additionally, interviewees provide several substantial suggestions regarding the government policy and industry ecosystem to surmount the barriers of POEs' going global. Lastly, the authors discuss managerial implications and provide several suggestions for the future studies.

  • Urban regeneration can be an effective tool to promote sustainability and enhance quality of village. Urban regeneration can be considered to be the process of reversing economic, social and physical decay having reached the point where market forces alone will not suffice. For this study, 154 village activist trainees are surveyed. Using the survey results, factor analysis, multi-regression analysis is conducted to identify the factor's significance and to find improvement properties by composing the significance and the satisfaction level. The purpose of this study is to suggest strategy of urban regeneration through the effect of urban regeneration factor on recognition and satisfaction. The findings show that environmental regeneration factor is more influential than economic, social and cultural factors on recognition and satisfaction. This study provide a convenient set of indicators for strategic focus to help urban regeneration policy.

  • This study observes the case of Kakao-Page, a webtoon and web novel company, revealing the relationship between long-tail strategy and corporate competence in the cultural content industry market. This study investigated the various expansion strategies of Kakao-Page and investigated the strength of the strategy through value, rare, inimitability, and organization the method of VRIO analysis. The biggest strength of Kakao-Page is its diverse range of products ranging from 66,000, and not only does it gain merit as a long-tail, but it also becomes the core of the vertical integration and various expansion strategy. The study points out that the ability to secure a wide range of products is essential for platform content companies seeking access to the market. Also, the need for follow-up research regarding content platforms and long-tail.

Union Substitution Strategy and Human Resource Management by Non-Unionized Valero Energy Co. (비노조기업 Valero Energy의 노조대체전략과 인적자원관리)

  • This study is a case study about the Valero Energy Corporation, the largest American independent refinery company, examining the characteristics of human resource management as a union avoidance strategy. The main research questions here are whether union substitution strategy differs clearly from union suppression strategy in the context of Valero Energy. Since the establishment in 1980, the Valero had maintained non-union tradition. The typical examples of human resource management in the non-unionized American companies are easily found in the Valero, such as strong CEO leadership, manpower policy emphasizing corporate culture and teamwork, direct communication between company and individual employees, no lay-off policy and no outsourcing policy of HRM, salary level around average of industry and best level of fringe benefits in the industry, non-union tradition and well-functioned alternative dispute resolution system and so on. Until now, based on tremendous growth and profitability, the company have applied union substitution method adopted by good companies as concrete method of union avoidance strategy instead of union suppression method that marginal enterprise prefers.

Effect of self-leadership and self-control learning ability of adult college students on satisfaction of school life (성인대학생의 셀프리더십과 자기조절학습능력이 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of undergraduates' self-directed learning on the school life satisfaction and interpersonal relation ability. For this purpose, 341 undergraduates were targeted and analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing school life satisfaction, a sub-factor of self-directed learning, all of gender, grade, and age affected. In addition, sub-factors such as study confidence, study passion, study responsibility seemed to affect positively significantly in order. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect on interpersonal relation skills of self-directed study, there was no significant relation in gender, grade, and age. Based on the results of this study, it was confirmed that school life satisfaction and interpersonal relation abilities are closely related to self-directed learning. This is significant in that to revitalize institutions such as educational service, study support for students, self-directed learning programs development in education field at the university, etc. are required.
