  • 대한인쇄문화협회와 한국이앤엑스는 지난 8월 18일 코엑스 330호 세미나실에서 2009프린코 기념 세미나를 개최했다. '디지털인쇄기를 활용한 부가가치 창출전략'이라는 주제아래 이문학 인천전문대 화상정보과교수<사진 왼폭>가 '주문형출판(POD)의 현황과 전망'에 대해, 김민수 성도지엘 상무이사<사진 오른쪽>가 '디지털인쇄기의 상업인쇄물 확보전략'에 대해 발제했다. 본고에서는 이문학 교수가 발표한 '주문형출판의 현황과 전망' 중 일부를 요약 게재한다.

  • This study suggests a new paradigm to build the identity of railway culture design, since it plays a critical role in enhancing competitiveness of culture and design. It is considered to be a valuable factor to improve users' satisfaction and to have a new effect on the railway industry. This study is focused on systematic study on the culture & design and competitiveness for railway industry, that emphasizing on making necessary strategic scenarios accordingly. Consequently, it is going to make higher added values to secure a footing and advanced images of railway industry.

  • 국제기록문화전시회 세미나가 지난 6월 1일 서울 삼성동 코엑스 4층 그랜드컨퍼런스룸에서 열렸다. 국제기록문화전ㅅ시회 개회식에 이어 전행된 이번 세미나는 루이스 벨라도 ICA 부의장이 '기록문화에 대한 인식을 제고하기 위한 미국 국가기록청의 전략적 방향 및 접근'에 대해, 데이빗 리치 ICA 사무총장이 '기록문화 인식제고 및 확산'에 대해, 에르베 르무완 프랑스 국가기록원장이 '프랑스 기록물 유산과 미래 세대에게 물려주기 위한 국가적 노력'에 대해, 한영우 이화여대 석좌교수가 '한국 기록문화 전통 및 계승방안'에 대해 발표했다. 본지에서는 한영우 교수의 발표문을 요약 게재한다.

The Strategic Adoption of Creative Industry and Its Impact on the Reconstruction of Cultural Identity in Andong Province (문화콘텐츠산업의 전략적 수용과 안동 문화정체성의 재구성)

  • Having gone through the international financial crisis in 1997, the Korean government has sought a new future economic breakthrough. In this line, the government chose the cultural contents business and has supported this area intensively. With the cultural contents promotion policy initiated to foster the world-class culture business based on the traditional Korean culture, Andong, which has diverse cultural traditions, was rediscovered. The Andong local government and the local power elites decided that this promotion policy can not only be an opportunity to invigorate the sluggish local economy, but also help eliminate the old-fashioned image of Andong, and thus actively promoted the cultural contents business. However, there's a conflict among the local elites over which cultural tradition should be chosen as a genuine local cultural tradition. The different views and efforts regarding the cultural identity of the region by each entity not only contributed significantly to the recovery of the local economy by revitalizing tourism, but also helped the region gain an advantageous position in competition with other regions over limited resources. This progress became the groundwork for attracting major institutions and facilities, which are essential for the revitalization of the local economy.

The Effect of the fit between Innovation Strategy and Company Characteristics on Innovation Performance (혁신전략과 기업특성 간의 적합성이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the fit between innovation strategy and firm characteristics on innovation performance. We conducted surveys for venture companies in the Southeast region, The results of multiple regression analysis based on 135 questionnaires are as follows : First, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and social network level, the higher the innovation performance. Second, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and management control system level, the more positive effect on innovation performance. Finally, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and innovation culture, the higher the innovation performance. This result implies that the enterprise characteristics should be designed and operated in accordance with the innovation strategy implementation.

  • Until now, the strategies for increasing community participation has been focusing on the administrative legal institutionalization, but these have not brought substantive effects. So, the need of strategies utilizing the community culture which was formed by the residents and community has been issued on recently. The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies utilizing the community culture. So, it was identified the socio-demographic variables affected the community cohesion (community social networks, community solidarity, place-attachment), that is called community spirit and culture. And through path analysis, it was analyzed the relationship among residents' socio-demographic background, community cohesion, and community participation. The findings are as follows. : the community cohesion's three elements altogether affected positively to the community participation. When regarding the residents characteristics, the strategies for increasing the participation relating to community solidarity was most relevant. the socio-demographics affecting to community solidarity are gender, age, the beneficiary, religion, job type, household income, the length of residence. the women was low at level of participation. The most important variables affecting the community cohesion are the age, the residence duration. Based on these results, the relevant strategies or approaches for increasing community participation are as follows. : using and sharing of the aged's community knowledge, making the long term living and final settlement of community residents, increasing and creating the income for the low-income residents, increasing of religious organization and its members' responsibility to community, and the purposeful extension and relevancy of women's participation. Ultimately, this study is to contribute to fomulate the residents- cultural asset driven's community welfare planning.

  • Game industry, one of cultural-content industry which is considered as a typical knowledge-based industry and creative industry, is not like the overseas expansion of traditional manufacture, and has different strategy and performance of export expansion through product or project-based strategy. Therefore, it should be approached by each content unit, and necessary to look at the factors that make their decision makings of foreign market entry vary. This study focuses on discovering creativity, absorptive capacity and strategic orientation(market orientation and innovation orientation) which affect the difference of distribution's decision making of entry into foreign market in game industry This paper examined 252 cases of online games in order to investigate creativity, absorptive capacity and strategic orientations for each foreign market and what entry type(among licensing, joint distribution, exclusive distribution) they chose according to the products developed in team level. This helps us analyze the factors affecting market orientation and innovation orientation in the perspectives of creativity and absorptive capacity in comprehensive way, and notice the phenomena which use different foreign distribution strategy though there are company incorporated abroad and their results. This study supplements the limit of the existing Resource-Based View, Resource-Dependent View, and traditional international business theories such as Transaction Cost Theory or OLI Paradigm(Eclectic Framework), and proves how company could reduce asymmetry of uncertainty and information in creative industry and whether they accomplish successful overseas expansion according to strategic orientations.

Condom negotiation strategies of Korean college students: Interactive perspective of Sexual-risk behavior (한국대학생들의 콘돔협상전략 탐색: 콘돔연구에서 협응적 관점의 제안)

  • Most previous research on safer sex and condom use has been mainly focused on individual's dispositional factors such as attitudes, perceived control, intention, and etc. However, a few researchers recently started to propose that condom use is not a matter of individual behavioral decision but a product of serious interactive negotiation processes and condom negotiation would be the proximal key-determinant of condom use behaviors. The present research categorized condom-negotiation strategies and preferences of Korean college students and examined relationship between the strategies and other sex-related concepts. 186 participants' strategies on a free-response questions of condom negotiation revealed 7 types of persuasion strategies for condom use; Pregnancy risk, responsibility, care for partner, withholding sex, sexual disease, direct request, and sexual satisfaction (in order of preference). 6 types of persuasion strategies for condom avoid were abstracted: Pregnancy free, Sexual satisfaction, responsibility, direct request, unfaith toward condom, and withholding sex (in order of preference). The effects of gender, sexual experience, and culture were found and discussed in their implications for sexual education,

  • Corporate business in today's domestic industry focuses on using of culture & arts as internal and external marketing strategies with increases number of business cases of implementing corporate cultural marketing. Despite certain demands for the systematic research of corporate cultural marketing, studies have not been sufficiently developed to meet industrial and academic demands. In some paper, studies on effectiveness of corporate cultural marketing have been examined. But the papers were only limited to a conceptual categorization of corporate cultural marketing. Therefore we intended to study patterns of corporate cultural marketing using actual corporate data and explore inter-relationship across the patterns and characteristics. As a result, Korean firms were categorized into four patterns as below: 1)Duty type, 2)Strategic Partner type, 3)Publicity type and 4)Event type. Also, We found that performance of Strategic Partner type was highest.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the management strategies of libraries through exploring the library environment in ubiquitous era. After the internal and external environment of Korean libraries was investigated by papers related with this study, the comprehensive management strategies of libraries were prepared. Five management strategies for library development in ubiquitous era were proposed. They were the strategies of library hybridization, collecting contents, user service diversification, changing library organization and preparing culture of learning organization, and collecting library fund.
